Bad placement record for year 2024 passouts.

Placements: Till mid-September, no students have been placed from the ECE department. Our placement officer doesn't concentrate on core companies but rather focuses on IT, and tells us to prepare for IT companies instead of focusing on the core electronics company. The average package you see will be from computer science and allied branches which is obviously inflated. I have seen the average package my seniors who are placed in IT is around 4 LPA. 1 of my seniors got placed into Micron Semi for 17 LPA whi...

Sadist HOD rules like Hitler.

Placements: DSI claims to be a top institution but offers limited support to non-CS/IS branches, especially ECE. Main campus students get most opportunities, while others are neglected. In ECE, there's no core industry training.

A decent college with good infrastructure and a good student body.

Placements: When it comes to placements, all the Dayananda Sagar institutions come together for a competitive one. Basically, all the candidates are taken for their main placements from the main campus, where well-reputed companies visit the college. In this institution, the salaries offered are around 6-7 LPA on average, with the highest packages varying into double digits. The offers are pretty good at Dayananda Sagar for students to settle into their dream job with just the skills they've mastered.

A very basic college and placements are disappointing here.

Placements: My course got the top placements with a salary package of 40 LPA. Last year the percentage of students get placement was not bad. Accenture visited the college for placements. According to my seniors, placement opportunities are less as they recruit students from the main branch. About 60% of students got internship in Accenture. I do not have any idea about the roles offered to the students.
