Bad placement record for year 2024 passouts.
Placements: Till mid-September, no students have been placed from the ECE department. Our placement officer doesn't concentrate on core companies but rather focuses on IT, and tells us to prepare for IT companies instead of focusing on the core electronics company. The average package you see will be from computer science and allied branches which is obviously inflated. I have seen the average package my seniors who are placed in IT is around 4 LPA. 1 of my seniors got placed into Micron Semi for 17 LPA which is the highest from my department.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay, but during gloomy days the lighting is not enough. But lab conditions are very bad. Nothing works properly in analog and digital lab. Our communication lab is straight from 19th century, you can hardly find a set of working components. The voltage regulators are broken, they keep fluctuating, and the signal/frequency generators. They cannot generate a signal in the millivolt range, yet you are expected to get output.
Faculty: Teachers are okay, it depends specifically on individual teacher and from exam centric point of view all of them are okay. The curriculum is okay but not upto par with industry standard. Semester exams are okay, and sometimes the evaluation is done quite strictly.
Other: I didn't choose ECE, it was KEA who allotted me this seat through KCET, yet I loved the stream. My course can be improved by including more hands-on training in IoT, embedded, analog, and digital electronics. The college fests happen twice a year, they are namely Esparanza and Anatarangi, they are good.

Fascinating about placements this year 2025
Placements: 43% of them got placed in the ECE department. The rest of them were continuing their education. Some went on their way. Asian industry, Microsoft, Pega System, Versa Network, and LMT are top companies. The highest in 2025 is 37 LPA. The average is 13 LPA. I am a fresher, still, I don't know about the internship percentage. The top role according to me is a technical director. One of the seniors told me about this.
Infrastructure: Every classroom and lab has a projector. There are no benches. Only wheel chairs are there for students. There are 3 Wi-Fi connections for every building. The speed is moderate. The library is also very good. It has all kinds of books. To be frank, the hostel and canteen food is not good. The sports facility is limited even the gym. Medical facilities are provided in every building.
Faculty: All lecturers are very professional and knowledgeable about the branch. Lecturers are educated from good universities. The teaching is very good and application-based. They teach us what industry-level teaching wants. Semester-end exams are moderate but application-based. The question paper is prepared by our college itself. 98% of students have a passing rate.
Other: I chose this branch because of my interest and it is worthy. It is very joyful and not a hectic branch due to the teaching. There could be Matlab before this year because it was introduced this year and you don't enjoy it. Every week, there are 2 to 3 events, fests, and so on. It is very entertaining.

A honest review of our college.
Placements: 80% of students got placed every year. The average package is about 8 LPA every year. Placement training is amazing in our college and they are all experienced a lot. All students got placed almost every year and internships are mandatory for all.
Infrastructure: Campus of our college is amazing. It consists of 10 acres. It's all about greenery and good without areas. Our hostel is very good and it has good food and mess. There is good Wi-Fi connection in college at every part and we have amphitheatre too.
Faculty: Semester exams in college are slightly difficult as it is autonomous now so college makes it own papers, so we find it little bit hard but there are 2-3 days gap between exams. It is not that much issue we can read and the results will be approximately 1 month after the exam.
Other: ECE has a good future and scope in India from 2027 as India is planning to build semiconductor industry in India.

The good college and faculty, and there are good placement opportunities and a good campus.
Placements: There is 100% placement in our campus and the highest package is 22 LPA and the lowest package is 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, and many other companies. As the semiconductor field is developing day by day, we can get great opportunities in that field.
Infrastructure: There are good and very nice classrooms, and the campus is well-ventilated with highly equipped labs. Wi-Fi is available on the campus. There is a very good library where we can sit calmly and study with concentration. There are nearly 20,000 books in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are very nice and well-experienced, and they teach us very clearly and always explain everything very clearly. This course is curriculum-relevant, and our college is preparing us directly for the industry. Semester exams will be easy. The passing percentage is 6 CGPA.
Other: I have an interest in electronics, so I took the course. The best thing is there are plenty of opportunities in this course.

Placements: Above 80% of our branch students got placed. The highest salary package offered is more than 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and many more in which people got placed. They got internships and it depends on the company and individual interns have also been done. The developer is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good facilities. Wi-Fi is available. The labs have all types of facilities and the classrooms are also clean. The library is the best. Hostel is good, clean, and hygienic. The canteen is also good and the food quality is also good. Overall, everything is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and highly qualified. They clear all your doubts and the teaching quality is very good. The teachers are very friendly and easy to approach. They make students ready for the industry. If we read then exams will be easy. The pass percentage is above 9 CGPA.
