Due to the very short breaks between semesters, it's very difficult to get an internship, Also, the college doesn't have any companies coming for internship offers.

I am from the management quota, so I pay around 5 lakhs per year.
Placements: The highest package offered is 35 LPA, and some reports mention that it is 56 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 5.4-5.9 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Dell, Infosys, Cisco, Cognizant, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, Ernst & Young (EY), etc., hire students.
Infrastructure: Hostel food is not good, especially for North Indians people, so they have to survive in the hostel. The hostel has only 3 or 4-sharing rooms. The fee is around 2.5 lakhs per year for a hostel with common washrooms. There is no fan in the room. It provides a single table fan for every student.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Exams are not hard, but not so easy. Every teacher is very understanding, but some teachers are very strict. In college, there is a mandatory 75 percent attendance, so we have to maintain it. Sometimes, they conduct parent-teacher meetings in the first year.

Review of the ECE course in Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering.
Placements: 80 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered by Texas Instruments is 20.83 LPA for 8 students. If we work hard, we will get a good package. The majority of students are placed with a package that ranges between 5-7 LPA. Good students are placed with a package of above 10 LPA, and only a few students got it.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Labs are great, and they are actually worth it. Buildings and the garden are great. The campus is very lively and happening.
Faculty: Faculty members are hit or miss. Everyone is qualified, and everyone has done some research. Not everyone is great with students. Some teachers think that being strict and intimidating is good, which isn't true. Every VTU college has a mandatory 85 percent attendance, which hinders self learning. Every college has an outdated course curriculum, so self-learning is important.
Other: There are many great clubs. Events are organised regularly. The place has a good connection with the rest of the city. It is just 1 KM from the JP Nagar metro station, and it's convenient.

Overall, the college is good and worth it.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of students get placed in the CSE department. The highest package offered off-campus is 60 LPA, and on-campus is 50 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, etc., visit the campus for placements. The college has made internships mandatory for students, and every student gets an internship. Companies hire students for SDE and junior roles.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has a good building, well-equipped labs, classrooms with Wi-Fi, and a well-decorated and equipped library. Overall, the infrastructure is good. The hostel is good, and rooms are spacious. The mess food is okay. The college has 2 canteens. The food is okay. Sports facilities are not that good, and only one ground is available.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and make concepts easy to understand. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry-ready. It increases our skills. Some subjects need improvement. Semester exams are easy, and one can score a good CGPA if they study a little bit. Almost 98 percent of students pass exams.

Good learning environment with decent placement packages.
Placements: The placements are decent, especially in CSE and allied branches. This year, the highest package on campus is 56 LPA. The average package for CSE and allied branches is around 10 LPA, and almost 85 percent of students get placed. Regarding internships, almost everyone completes them from the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure for the course is good, with well-maintained classrooms, labs, and departments. However, the college hostels are below average considering the fees, and the food is also poor and unhygienic. It would be better if you join PG accommodations nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and some are really good. The curriculum is also good, as they teach about the industry, but students need to put in their own effort as well. Semester exams are of medium difficulty and not very tough. The pass percentage for my batch is almost 95 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in Computer Science. Students here are very active in hackathons and internships. However, the course could improve with more practical, hands-on learning. The campus hosts two college fests per year, but they are average and not very fun.

Overall good college with supportive faculty, good campus life. Sports facilities aren't great.
Placements: I'm in the Computer Science and Engineering branch. The placement scenario is overall great. Around 80-85% students are placed. The highest package is of 57 LPA, which is offered by Google. Other companies like Wipro, Microsoft, Amazon, and Infosys also come. Our branch has an average package of 7-9 LPA. Internship opportunities are not provided much by our college, and you will have to seek them on your own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good, and it has one of the biggest campuses in Bangalore, but the hostel is overpriced. Coming to food, the mess isn't that good, and the quality doesn't match the price we are paying. Labs are conducted every week and have Ethernet LAN connections. The college library is good and has Wi-Fi as well, so you can come and study anytime. Borrowing books from there requires a card.
Faculty: The faculty in my department is good. They are really supportive. Some can teach well, but I don't feel the same about every faculty. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant. But it's not very practical, knowledge-oriented. Exams are not tough, and maintaining CG is easy overall.
Other: I chose the CSE core so that later you have options and you can choose any domain. Events are conducted regularly in my college, so people having extra curricular skills are at an advantage. Fest is conducted twice a year.

I am satisfied with the college, but I wanted some more good infrastructure.
Placements: More than 45 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 60 LPA, and the lowest package is 25 LPA. Many students get placed at a good price. The top recruiting companies for our course are Bharat Electronics, Bosch, ABB, Google, etc. More than 25 percent of students got internships, which is not accurate, and it may be more or less. The top roles offered are manager and CEO of a startup. We can also start to create our own business in the non-IT field.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The infrastructure is old, and it's a very old building. Some classrooms are in very bad conditions, but nowadays, they are working on problems and sorting them out. I do not stay in a hostel, but a few of my friends say that's good compared to any other college. There are two hotels in our college, one is the NRI hostel, which has a good infrastructure and good room space, but the con is that they don't have proper food facilities. The other is an Indian hostel, which has good food and is well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, and they teach us well with their knowledgeable sense. Overall, the experience is average, but they can further improve it to make it more accurate. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is not that accurate. It purely depends on teachers who have industry experience and have come to the teaching field. Exams are tougher compared to other colleges because the material is set, but at VTU, the material will be challenging if we don't study well. The pass percentage is 50 out of 100 percent.
Other: It was my personal opinion to choose this course because I wanted to move into this field, which is non-IT. The best thing about college is that we will get to meet many people from many other states and many other countries. The campus is very young and filled with nature. It should improve the teaching methodologies related to the course and make students industry-ready, because that is very important in the future. Many fests are going on every semester. It organises many inter-college and intra-college fests.
