Madras Christian College-Journalism admissions are merit-based. Department of Journalism offers BA in Journalism in 12 specialisations including Print Media, Digital Journalism, Cinematography, Broadcast Media etc. The Journalism programme comes under UG-Self-Financed Stream of the MCC. It offers Hindi, Tamil, German and French as a part of first language for the Self-Financed programmes. Students can choose for any one of these languages.
