Good for science courses.

Placements: There are no placements for my course in my college. Most of the students opt for masters after this course. There is a placement cell in the college where you can ask for internships. Multiple workshops and seminars take place in the college, so you can also apply for internships there.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. We have good labs for our experiments, and teachers also guide the students very well. The library is also very good, but the Wi-Fi in the college doesn't work all the time, and the food in the canteen is also average.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. You can ask them questions anytime, and they also help with the topics that you don't understand after class. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. If you want to pursue research or teaching in the future, then the curriculum is pretty helpful.

Overall department is very good, focused on research-based studies.

Placements: The placement is not that good as the standards of college. Most of the students opt for higher studies instead of placement. And normally, internships are good compared to placements. Nearly 60% of students got their first internship in the 2nd or 3rd year. Overall average placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good; the campus has 24/7 high-speed Wi-Fi internet. There are 7 different labs for different parts of subjects, and the library system is impressive. The library got the best library award from Delhi University in 2017. Classrooms are very good.

Faculty: Teachers and team are very helpful and polite towards the students. All are well educated and highly qualified in their field. The passing percentage is above 95%, and the level of the exam is moderate. The curriculum is relevant to modern study, but not as much.

Campus life is amazing, but for the placements you have to hustle.

Placements: Out of nearly 70 students in our batch, about 20–25 participated in placements. Most companies offered internships; some are paid and some are unpaid. One or two companies came for providing jobs. One of them is DE Shaw, a very renowned company, which offered a 12 LPA package. I personally gave interviews to some of them and got one of the internships. The number of placements and package details are not provided by the placement cell.

Infrastructure: Labs are well equipped, but Wi-Fi is bad. The library is really very nice with no complaints, and the system works well, but the classrooms are ancient. In the summer, it is very hard to attend classes as they heat up so much, especially on the upper floors. Overall, the campus is very green. The food at the canteen is affordable and tasty, which we love. We also have a cafeteria where you can have coffee and snacks and chill.

Faculty: The faculty is very experienced and hardworking, but the operation by the department and college regarding issues is the worst. We have wrong names of the papers in our results, and this issue has not been resolved for months. The admin does not cooperate, which is very disappointing. Students have to suffer because of this. This is not a one-time thing; it happens frequently, and most of the time the fault is by the university, and students have to suffer.

Other: The campus life is amazing. I literally met the best people of my life here. So many like-minded and hardworking people are there. The fest season is always on fire. Stars like Gippy Grewal and Masoom Sharma have come to our college, and we really enjoy every time. Prior to that, the DJ night is also really good. Society fests are very energetic. Scholarship aids are also provided to students who are economically weak, and the societies are really active, so extracurriculars do play a role.

Our college is good, but it needs to improve basic facilities like labs and canteens.

Placements: I am a student of B.Sc. in Physical Science, and we did not get so many opportunities to get placements. In our degree, there is one chance as we have to do a masters in any subject from Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. The course is not as great as honours, but if we do 4 4-year degree, we will automatically get an honours degree.

Infrastructure: The college campus is good and cozy. Some areas like labs and canteen always get filled with. In the canteen, no hygiene is followed. The Ops labs are getting worse due to trapped water near the entry door, and it fills the water inside during the rainy season.

Other: I chose this college because of the NCC air wing. Every fest is celebrated warmly and happily. Students get a lot of options after completing graduation. After our degree, we can do a master's degree in any of the subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.

Satisfied with the learning and overall experience in Deshbandhu College.

Placements: The placements in our college are really top-notch, like everything is so good. We have the top 4 companies at our placement fair. And you know, the environment is also really nice. Our seniors are very helpful. They always help us out with everything. Getting internships and you know, they also share their experiences, so the top recruiting companies like Deloitte, EY or KPMG are also sometimes there for some particular courses, especially for life sciences.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is perfect. You know, we have a lot of green space. We have the best library, which offers all types of books, so you don't need to buy any sort of book from outside stationery shops. The Classrooms are also very good and big, you know, we have projectors for presentations. We also have a conference hall and an auditorium separately. So the overall infrastructure is really nice and better than that of other colleges.

Faculty: The faculty is very qualified, and they are always there to help us. Also, answers are text messages on WhatsApp, they are very knowledgeable and have experience of around 20 to 30 years. So the overall learning procedure is very easy because of them in college.

Deshbandhu College offers supportive teachers, active societies, and many growth opportunities.

Placements: Placements at Deshbandhu College are moderate. A few reputed companies visit the campus but most opportunities are better for commerce and economics students than for science streams. Many students prefer internships, higher studies, or preparing for exams like UPSC, CAT, or GATE. The placement cell is active but there is still scope for more big recruiters and diverse opportunities.

Infrastructure: The Physics department at Deshbandhu College has well-equipped laboratories and decent classroom facilities. The labs provide practical exposure with basic instruments, though some equipment feels outdated and could use modernization. The library support is helpful, and the overall infrastructure is functional, but there is definitely scope for more advanced resources to match the pace of modern research.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive and knowledgeable. They are always ready to guide us with patience, and their clear explanations and encouragement make learning easier. A bit more interactive teaching would make classes even better, but overall, they are truly inspiring mentors.
