Placements: Nearly 85% of students in the every stream are placed. Some students favour higher education. The quality of placements at IITR is excellent, with leading firms like Microsoft, supportive placement and internship cells, and 87% of candidates are placed across all the fields.
Infrastructure: Every pupil. Additionally, research facilities are up to par. Libraries are subjected with an abundance of literature in every subject. And laboratories are well-equipped. Both hostels and LHCs are immaculately kept and offer excellent study spaces.
Faculty: Faculty members have strong domain expertise and are well competent in their fields. Every year, new technology is added to maintain the standard of education. When we join the companies, the courses won't aid the students. And all the faculty are highly graduated.

Other: It is an awesome college with an amazing campus and is one on the best in India. Though the place Roorkee has nothing interesting to do, the campus is itself self-sufficient to provide you everything you need to live and enjoy. Moreover, when you get bored of your daily hectic routine then there is the whole Uttarakhand to explore. Rishikesh being my favorite, is the most soothing place I have ever seen. The plethora of peace which you get just relaxing by the riverside with no phone signals and no electricity to intervene between you and your peace is amazing. Even for a chillout destination with friends, it’s a good choice. Rest, the facilities which IIT Roorkee provides is far beyond expectations from a government institution. Be it sports, be it tech and cultural fests the benchmark is very high for most of the Indian colleges to attain. The mess food is unimaginably good. Though we get bored of the monotonous food being served, but the quality of food is too good. Apart from all the materialistic things, the environment, and the platform which a student get in IIT Roorkee is its unique selling point. The thought process evolves each year with better minds entering IIT Roorkee each year. If somebody is worried about placements, my only suggestion to him is to just visit IIT Roorkee during the placement season. It’s a fare of companies where each one has the challenge to absorb the best talent as soon as the placement season starts.

IIT Roorkee is the best college.
Placements: I have done my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and this is my personal review regarding the placement and the college. The college has a great placement team, and highest package from this college goes around 1.5 crores. While average packages from this college go up to 50 to 60 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has all the facilities required by the students, even more than what they require. The hostels are made very lavish and spacious with a high-quality food mess. Every week, food is prepared for each state's students. Classrooms are fully centralized ACs with plug-in tables, smart classes, and whatnot.
Faculty: Faculty members of this college are themselves qualified from renowned IITs. Professors of this college are quite strict, but there is a huge amount of knowledge you can get from them. Also, they help you a lot with your research work. Overall, the college has a great placement and faculty.
