After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

As per the round 3 of JEE Main cutoff 2025, it is possible to get admission to VNIT Nagpur with a rank of 40,000 in JEE Main. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates was closed at 709 and 42319. Looking at the cutoff range, it was evident that getting admission at 40,000 rank is possible, among the General AI category candidates. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the closing ranks varied between 405 and 14336. For the OBC AI category candidates, getting a seat at 40,000 is not possible.

For the General Home State quota candidates, the range of cutoff was between 505 and 47323. Therefore, it is possible to get admission to the college with 40,000 rank among the General Home State category candidates.

VNIT Nagpur campus is spread in 215 acres of area. Below-mentioned are the campus facilities: 

• Hostel: The institute has 11 hostel. It has seperate hostel for boys and girls. The institute has excellent residential facilities to cater to the needs of more than a thousand students. There are seven boys hostels and four girls hostels. Each hostel has a telephone, TV, sports items, water coolers, water heaters, and well-equipped mess facilities.
• Library: The VNIT Library has book and journal collections that have been built up over time in a systematic manner.
• Sports: Various sports activities are carried out in the VNIT Nagpur sports complex, such as cricket, football, basketball, kabaddi, kho, lawn tennis, and badminton. There is one hall for yoga and one hall for cardio fitness.

The institute offers a gymkhana as well as courts for cricket, football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. On campus, there is also an NCC branch. A medical centre and an auditorium are also included.

IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The GATE 2024 application form was released on 24th August 2024 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The organising institute for GATE 2024 was IISc Bangalore. The exam was conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Candidates had to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours).
