It has a good environment, a solid campus, and proper growth, which depends on us.
Placements: DBIT has a decent placement record. Many placements are in IT services and tech companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini. A few product-based companies also visit, but it is competitive. The average package ranges from 3.5-4.5 LPA. The highest package offered is more than 10 LPA, depending on our skills. Internships are usually self-sourced or offered in the final year.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are clean with projectors in most. The library is big and has good resources. Wi-Fi is available, but speed can vary. The canteen is decent with reasonable food options. There's no in-campus hostel, but PGs nearby are manageable.
Faculty: Faculty members are a mix. Some faculty members are really helpful and knowledgeable. Other faculty members just read off slides. The course curriculum is under Mumbai University (NEP 2020), so it is a bit updated but still theory-heavy. Exams happen twice a semester, i.e., internals + end-semester. They can be unpredictable at times. Labs are strict based on attendance.

Absolutely satisfied with college experience.
Placements: From EXTC average package is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top company is L&T. L&T has internship paid programs upto Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. 90% of students got internships. Overall college placement percentage is above 90%. Top roles as in class representative, tech representative, and sports representative are the roles that are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there and allowed mostly in libraries but sometimes they allow us to use canteen and lab Wi-Fi. Classrooms are spacious. Food is really good. Canteens are also renovated now. I don't know about mess and hostel though. Medical facilities are there. There is a first aid room.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. I personally got attention because I was failing. Semester exams are moderate for EXTC it is a little bit tough though. I am not comparing. But teachers are really very helpful. Passing percentage for EXTC is 75%.
Other: Cultural and tech events are two most the biggest events in our college. Crowd is crazy for that but it also respects the event, and all come together and enjoy it.

Compared to other colleges, excluding VJIT, IIT,  DJ Sanghvi, and KJSCOE, it is a good college.
Placements: Nearly 50-60% of students got placed in the mechanical department. The highest package is around 9.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA for the mechanical department. Top recruiting companies for our course are Godrej, LNT, SanMar, AWS, Tecnimont, Zepto, etc. Roles offered are sales, design, maintenance, and purchasing.
Infrastructure: There are no air-conditioners in classrooms, and only fans are working there in summer. During IA exams, students feel suffocated. Wi-Fi is available but only in the library. There is no hostel facility. Students used to live in PGs. There are 2 canteens, and the canteen food is average.
Faculty: A majority of professors are master's and 2 professors are PhD holders. A majority of faculty members are good, but some are very rude. They are not teaching well. But the new HOD's behavior is good. They are not able to complete the syllabus. Strict paper checking happens here.

About 3 years of BE in mechanical engineering.
Placements: From the batch of 2025, around 40% of students are placed till now and placements are still on going. The highest package is 9.5 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA - 7 LPA. Amazon, Zepto, Toyo Engineering, TCS, L&T, and these kinds of top companies came for recruitment. 100% of internships are provided by the college. Top roles like junior engineer in L&T and hub manager in Zepto are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided on all floors. All the labs are better and internet is provided in computer labs like solidworks labs and simulation labs. In library, there is Wi-Fi. There is one digital library where you can download paid research papers and books for free of cost. Hostel is not in our college but hostel cell provides better hostels in a nearby location which has amenities like Wi-Fi, ACs, and washing machines.
Faculty: All teachers have done Ph.D. in their respective subjects. Rest have done masters. All faculty members are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. They not only teach theory-based, they also provide industrial visits to get hands-on what is actually in industries. Semester exams are like if you attend all the lectures, you will not face difficulty in exams. Passing marks are like 8 out of 20 and for end-semester its like 32 out of 80 marks.
Other: I have interest in mechanical engineering since when I was in 9th grade. Best thing about this course is that you get to know how industries work and their mechanisms.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placement cell is very helpful, and it coordinates with students. It provides the necessary details. They also give insights and prepare their students. Many students got placed at very good companies and with better packages compared to other colleges and other placement cells.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is very nice. It has a spacious library and classrooms for students to study. It has an amazing canteen facility. The hygiene is also maintained. It also has amazing medical facilities and different games or sports zones.
Faculty: Teachers at this college are very helpful. They are very qualified and have proper knowledge of the curriculum. The teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum taught here is relevant, and it prepares students to face the industrial market.
Other: Events are happening in this college. There are many fests and educational fests. The campus crowd, compared to other colleges, is better. The campus surroundings are very nice. The college also provides extracurricular activities for students.

I am not truly satisfied with it.
Placements: 73% of students got placements in our college in the previous batch. The highest package offered is 27 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. L&T and Capgemini are the top recruiters of our course. Around 90% of students got paid internships or jobs. This college is best for the mechanical engineering course as the highest package offered is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very big but enough. One football ground, one basketball, and small courts are available. All labs are filled with Wi-Fi. It has around 650 computers on the whole campus for students with minimum i5 criteria. The library has all the essential books needed. It has 1 canteen, a cafeteria, and a lush green campus.
Faculty: Almost all teachers are PhD holders. Teaching staff members focus on concept building and learning and not on mugging up. Regular tests are conducted. There are seminars and activities for students to become industry-ready. Exams are conducted by Mumbai University, so the difficulty level is as per them. It also offers some other courses like BMS, ITI, and DOM.
Other: I am interested in coding from the 9th standard, so I decided to do engineering in the computer field. 2 annual fests named Euphoria and Colosseum are organised here. All government scholarships are provided. The crowd is not much as there are only 4 branches.
