About 3 years of BE in mechanical engineering.
Placements: From the batch of 2025, around 40% of students are placed till now and placements are still on going. The highest package is 9.5 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA - 7 LPA. Amazon, Zepto, Toyo Engineering, TCS, L&T, and these kinds of top companies came for recruitment. 100% of internships are provided by the college. Top roles like junior engineer in L&T and hub manager in Zepto are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided on all floors. All the labs are better and internet is provided in computer labs like solidworks labs and simulation labs. In library, there is Wi-Fi. There is one digital library where you can download paid research papers and books for free of cost. Hostel is not in our college but hostel cell provides better hostels in a nearby location which has amenities like Wi-Fi, ACs, and washing machines.
Faculty: All teachers have done Ph.D. in their respective subjects. Rest have done masters. All faculty members are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. They not only teach theory-based, they also provide industrial visits to get hands-on what is actually in industries. Semester exams are like if you attend all the lectures, you will not face difficulty in exams. Passing marks are like 8 out of 20 and for end-semester its like 32 out of 80 marks.
Other: I have interest in mechanical engineering since when I was in 9th grade. Best thing about this course is that you get to know how industries work and their mechanisms.

Review of Don Bosco Institute of Technology.
Placements: 80% of students get placed in a company. 3.5 LPA is the lowest package and the highest package is 9.75 LPA. The average package is 6.5 LPA. Bluestar, Renault, Nissan, Jio, Tata, etc. are the recruiting companies. Some students can get a free internship and some get a paid internship which improves their creativity and thinking.
Infrastructure: The library as well as classrooms are well managed and cleaned every time. Wi-Fi is available only in the library and in some classrooms and seminar halls. There are two canteens: one is Cafe Bosco, and the other is an old canteen that gives good food in good quantity.
Faculty: Faculty and staff are very helpful in every difficult situation. Teachers and teaching staff have good knowledge to teach us in a good way. Teaching quality is nice. 95% of students can pass very easily. Semester exams are not difficult but some questions are coming out of the syllabus.
Other: I chose this course because I have a diploma in mechanical engineering. And I have more knowledge about cars, CNC machines and software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc. Two fests happen at our college every year. One is Hysteria, which includes sports, cultural activities and other technical fests.

Do bosco institute of technology.
Placements: Amazon, lnt, Infosys, tcs, are the top recruiting companies. College is putting good efforts to bring companies. However, not so famous tag would make it difficult to attract good paying companies to the campus. For mechanical stream, situation is tough overall. But at my time, they have got us placed with good number of companies.
Infrastructure: Every year, college is upgrading the infrastructure to get the good NAAC and other accreditation. Classes are well built and equipped, well maintained. With respect to mechanical stream, labs are not that much sophisticated and the instruments, apparatus need a revamp.
Faculty: Some teachers are good but overall quality of education needs to be improved a lot. Teachers are generally loaded with nonacademic work, so don't give much attention towards lecture content and overall teaching. Curriculum is not updates and its upto MU to change the course structure as a lot has been changed into mechanical engineering field and more focus is now onto mechatronics area.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members and inadequate laboratory accessories.
Placements: The placements of mechanical were not much great. Very few core mechanical companies visited here. Most of the companies which visited here were IT and computer-related. Internships were fine. Professors don't encourage to think out of the syllabus except for the principal. She is the only person who supports students and their ideas.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is fine but not much great. Wi-Fi is available only to check college attendance. The library needs to have updated books. Classrooms are fine and well ventilated. The canteen is fine as of before COVID-19, and they would take suggestions if given.
Faculty: The teachers here are not much qualified, and just a few of them are very knowledgeable. They don't allow to think out of the box, and they never encourage new doubts except for the basics. I feel the professors should be tested if they have the knowledge to teach well. There are teachers who don't even have good knowledge of the subject, but they still teach it.

The college provides comparatively good placements for mechanical students.
Placements: Some mechanical giants come for placements like Jacobs, L&T, Toyo Engineering etc. However, it's not that great like for computers and IT, but comparatively good. There are many competitions that you can join and hone your skills and get industry-ready. You need the determination to take part.
Infrastructure: Labs and infrastructure are up to the mark and create a good ambience for learning. Mechanical labs have sufficient machines to complete our syllabus. Some areas need improvement, but overall, it has a good setup for students to learn industry relates topics.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified, but some are not passionate to teach. If you have the enthusiasm and willingness to study, the faculty members are more than helpful to teach you. Some of the faculty members will help you to participate in national-level competitions, and the college will fund for it.
Other: You will get to join a number of clubs and competitions.
