I am not truly satisfied with it.
Placements: 73% of students got placements in our college in the previous batch. The highest package offered is 27 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. L&T and Capgemini are the top recruiters of our course. Around 90% of students got paid internships or jobs. This college is best for the mechanical engineering course as the highest package offered is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very big but enough. One football ground, one basketball, and small courts are available. All labs are filled with Wi-Fi. It has around 650 computers on the whole campus for students with minimum i5 criteria. The library has all the essential books needed. It has 1 canteen, a cafeteria, and a lush green campus.
Faculty: Almost all teachers are PhD holders. Teaching staff members focus on concept building and learning and not on mugging up. Regular tests are conducted. There are seminars and activities for students to become industry-ready. Exams are conducted by Mumbai University, so the difficulty level is as per them. It also offers some other courses like BMS, ITI, and DOM.
Other: I am interested in coding from the 9th standard, so I decided to do engineering in the computer field. 2 annual fests named Euphoria and Colosseum are organised here. All government scholarships are provided. The crowd is not much as there are only 4 branches.

Good Infrastructure and Facilities.
Placements: There are placements in my college and a lot of companies like Godrej, Capgemini, Seclore, DeltaX, Homefirst, VIP, Alpha Payments, and so on. I believe most of the students are able to bag the jobs that come, even if not at the beginning of the placement season due to not enough prep, but they are able to work on it and get the job as companies keep coming.
Infrastructure: We are provided with all the necessary infrastructure, and they are helpful to students. Computers always have internet connectivity, which consistently helps with technical projects or assignments. The faculty members are supportive of any academic or personal problems that we face and thus maintain cordial relations with students.
Faculty: As technology advances in the IT industry, the curriculum and syllabus need to be updated accordingly. The current syllabus provides the basic fundamentals, which are necessary for students to study, but it also needs to be more adaptable to current advancing technology.
Other: I personally like the extracurricular activities, as they are a breath of fresh air from the technical assignments and projects. I have also worked as an active NSS volunteer and chairperson of a technical student chapter, and it has been a wonderful experience hosting and conducting events as well as participating in them.

For placement and academic purposes, it was best college. But not for hostel life.
Placements: College placement is very active as compared to other colleges in Mumbai; they are very helpful for students, and they are spread across the world, so it can be easy to know about vacancies and easily known about requirements and skills. Alumni are always in contact with placement cell companies that recruit students with 6 LPA to 16 LPA packages.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is so large in Mumbai main region that all types of amenities are present, like Wi-Fi, labs, air conditioning, classrooms, labs with precise instruments, etc. The reading hall is also very large, with all the facilities, like laptops and reference books, in a peaceful environment. Hostel facilities are available for long-distance travelers, and the cafeteria area was very nice.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are coming from foreign universities as PG holders, and they are also doing jobs at reputed companies in the IT sector. So it was very helpful guidance for students to know about the requirements, skills to be developed, and how to prepare for front-of-house interviews. The course curriculum is based on projects and practical, so it meets industry requirements for exposure for students in college time.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college and our placement cell is very good.
Placements: About 40% of students got placed in campus interviews till now. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Ugam Solutions, Hexaware, and many more. About 20% of students get internships in small companies. The roles offered in my course are data analyst and software engineer.
Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi facility with good internet speed. We have 6 labs and each lab has Wi-Fi, printers, and a scanner. There is a server room that handles all machines present in 6 labs. Our college also has a library. Our college has a projector facility for presentation, workshops, and seminars.
Faculty: Our faculty members are so caring and knowledgeable. They always try to provide the best knowledge to us. They are supportive. Teaching quality is also good. Our curriculum is quite better because we have basic knowledge of the industries covered in our curriculum. Semester exams are also good. Our passing percentage is 70-80%.
Other: I chose the information technology course because nowadays, this is blooming. Our college doesn't have a hostel. But we have a great canteen and campus. The college fests are also great. Depending on your caste, you get fee benefits. Student section services are also good in our college. Nature is also beautiful outside the college.

I am fully satisfied with our college.
Placements: In 2021, almost 90% of students are well recruited with an average salary package of 4 LPA for the IT department. There are many opportunities on campus for placements. Recruiting companies in our college like Jio, Tata, Infosys, Wipro, Byju's, Topper, etc. It has a strong alumni network.
Infrastructure: Don Bosco has well-equipped computer labs which are available for the IT department. There are a total of 4 labs for the IT department with spacious rooms for labs. Computers are in good condition and a new model is comparable for programing. Our college has a good infrastructure, and it always maintains hygiene. There is much greenery on the campus. The canteen is so big and sports grounds like football and basketball are also available in Don Bosco.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated Ph.D. holders from reputed universities. We have many teachers with greater skills available for IT. All the teachers are friendly, and they are always ready to help students, and make sure that every student was able to grasp the content. The syllabus is up-to-date for IT students which is very difficult to maintain, but due to technology and teachers available in DBIT, it is possible to cop up with industrial needs. The teaching is very good and teachings are based on project-based learning.
Other: Currently, our batch is online but many events have been conducted by colleges like a hackathon, Hysteria, football, etc. There are many extracurricular activities-based clubs. Seniors are so good and helpful to us.

Review of Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. Companies flow in from over and above. Although good startups like Zycus and Media. Net visit the campus, great dream companies do not visit the college. The average package offered is around 3.5 LPA. Internships are offered to students through the internship expo held during the technical festival called Colosseum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college is well lit. Classrooms are a bit dusty at times, although they are promptly cleaned if needed. Sports and games are given a lot of importance in college. The main problem is the internet facility, as the network is poor throughout the campus. Free Wi-Fi is not available, and that makes doing important tasks on the go really difficult.
Faculty: Teachers are mediocre. Some of the teachers are at par in their research domain, but like all engineering colleges, not everyone knows how to teach. Facial value hols a key in this college, you'll be awarded great marks if you're in the good books of teachers. The teacher to student ratio is 1:65. The course curriculum is of Mumbai University. It was a little outdated, but it was revised from 2020 batch, and it is a very advanced syllabus wherein industry-oriented learning provides a lot of exposure.
Other: Colosseum is the technical festival, and Hysteria is the sports and cultural festival conducted in the college. There are a number of fun days that take place throughout the year, like Clone Day, Crew Day and Traditional Day. Onam is celebrated with a lot of joy and pomp on the campus.

Makes a good personality in a student and one can see the changes in his/her way of handling things.
Placements: The placement cell at DBIT is no doubt, one of the best things. It supports the students even after passing out of the college if some students didn't get the placement. Many companies come to our college every year. They also organise seminars for students. Different WhatsApp groups are created by the placement cells to keep a student updated about placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available, but the students can access only DBIT websites except for library access. Labs have AC facility and classrooms are also in good condition. The only thing is that I had some doubt in some drinking water purifier around the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are no doubt knowledgeable and qualified. In the first year, they can be strict about the punctuality of a student. But from the second year, they act as a friend of a student (except his/her attendance should be above 65% to 70%). Only fear of the students is the principal. No one can help on that if you come on her radar.
Other: There is a huge playground in the college on which students usually play different games.
