I am absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placement cell is very helpful, and it coordinates with students. It provides the necessary details. They also give insights and prepare their students. Many students got placed at very good companies and with better packages compared to other colleges and other placement cells.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is very nice. It has a spacious library and classrooms for students to study. It has an amazing canteen facility. The hygiene is also maintained. It also has amazing medical facilities and different games or sports zones.
Faculty: Teachers at this college are very helpful. They are very qualified and have proper knowledge of the curriculum. The teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum taught here is relevant, and it prepares students to face the industrial market.
Other: Events are happening in this college. There are many fests and educational fests. The campus crowd, compared to other colleges, is better. The campus surroundings are very nice. The college also provides extracurricular activities for students.

I'm satisfied with amazing faculty, campus, and good placement.
Placements: My college offers a great placement and they have a huge placement cell where they prepare students for the campus interviews. A lot of alumni seminars are also organized so that the batch can get an idea. Amazing companies visit the campus for recruiting and almost maximum students got placed.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library are neat with ample space for students to fit in. The library has updated books as per the curriculum and a proper system for logging the books. Classrooms are spacious and well-equipped and so is the labs with proper Wi-Fi connectivity.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they made us feel at home and made us understand the curriculum in a very easy way. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable, their techniques are very unique, catch modern, and easy to understand and grasp easily for us.
Other: I chose this course because this college offers great academic and placement, also the faculty is amazing and offers hands-on experience to students.

My experience in Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
Placements: I enrolled in the computer department in 2021, which is a 4-year graduation course. My pass-out year is 2025. College offers 4 branches: computer, information technology, EXTC, and mechanical departments. College has good placement records. The average package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has decent facilities, including a good canteen, spacious library, and football grounds. College has Wi-Fi across the campus. Each department has about 7 to 8 labs. Infrastructure is not so fascinating, but still, it is well-equipped with projectors and smart TVs.
Faculty: Each department has highly qualified and well-experienced faculty members. Professors are very supportive and helpful. The course is well-supported with practical sessions, and for that, laboratories are well-equipped. Practical knowledge is focused on at Don Bosco Institute of Technology.

Absolutely satisfied by the college because of their facilities and other good infrastructure
Placements: In our college almost all the students appearing for the placements are placed in companies like L&T, Browserstack, Capgemini, Accenture etc. The highest package received this year was offered by Browserstack for 22.5 LPA and the lowest package offered was 4-5 LPA. Here, the avg package given to the students of Don Bosco Institute of Technology is 6-7 LPA. Also a rough figure of 98% students from our college are placed every year. Our college provides an expert course on computer engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical engineering and Electronics engineering. Non-btech and be courses include BMS, BAF, HS, HM, ITI.
Infrastructure: The campus is well organized in Don Bosco. Also, there a two canteens for students. All the labs, canteens, Libraries, session halls are having wifi facilities. There are cultural events celebrated in our college on a huge level. Students from DBIT compete at University level championships where they also come back with flying colours. There are separate common rooms for boys and girls in both the streams, this includes the indoor games facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are always supportive, helpful and visionary. They aim to provide more deep and practical knowledge of their respective subjects in the form of lab sessions making them capable of performing everything they learn in their theory sessions. This clearly improves their thinking ability and promote them towards problem solving skills. They provide knowledge and course for the students in campus making them industry ready till they end up with their Respective courses. Students here pass on an acceptable range.

Healthy Competition among crowd and so helps you grow as an individual.
Placements: Placements are pretty average unless you've done something extraordinary. As of last year's placements, the 2024 pass-out batch, the highest package of 22 LPA was offered to 2 students, and the rest were below them. One of the key elements that differentiated them from others was that they were not only good at academics and technical skills, but one of them was leading the team of our technical club, and one was the founder and lead of GDSC DBIT (Google Developer Student Club).
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are good, and there is a huge library with a good collection of books and well-maintained sitting areas. DBIT doesn't have its own hostel as of 2024, but you can find PG accommodations nearby. Godrej, Tata Power, Sahaj, Compress, Simpolo, etc., are some of the companies that come for placements.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are quite qualified and helpful as well. Teaching quality is good. Lectures take place regularly. End-semester exams are conducted under Mumbai University, as this college falls under MU. Since teaching is good, you can score well if you attentively attend lectures.
Other: Computer Engineering is a quite demanding job in today's world, but remember, it is only if you develop the industry-required skills. Apart from academics, you should involve yourself in different clubs and participate actively to stand out. DBIT has a debate club (Litsoc), GDSC (Google Developer Student Club), and an ACM club, under which events like TECNACK (technical events) take place. Colosseum is one of the cultural events of DBIT.

Excellent college for catholic students!
Placements: All the eligible students who passed without any KT got placed last year. That will be around 60% just in the computer department. The highest package last year was 30 lacs for an IT department guy. Mostly TCS and AWS come to recruit at our college. Our internship trainer is very good; that's why almost all of us get an internship, starting in Sem 4.
Infrastructure: All the computers have a strong Ethernet connection. There are around 8 labs just for the Comp department. A big field, a basketball court, and a volleyball court are also available. There are two canteens that provide excellent food at affordable prices. A common room for both boys and girls is there, with Foosball table, etc.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive, and the managing father's are also very friendly. The course depends on the MU and the paper is set by the MU. Of course, engineering is a little difficult but if you understand the concepts and write the exams according to them, you're sure to pass without any KT's.

It is the best college for placements and co-curricular activities.
Placements: The highest package is above 10 LPA. Placements are very good from IT firms. The placement cell is really good. Other departments also can apply for IT firms and get placed with high packages. There are lots of companies that come for placements, and all are quite great.
Infrastructure: The canteen is okay. Sports and other facilities are quite good. Classrooms are comfortable and spacious. There are lots of good halls for conferences and other festivals. Washrooms and also drinking water facilities are good. There are other facilities like a good library and indoor games.
Faculty: Teaching is not up to the mark. One may need to apply for classes outside. Teachers are quite strict regarding attendance. There are a few teachers who are really good. But the classroom teaching isn't that great. Teachers are friendly and will solve doubts when needed.
Other: It is quite a student-friendly environment. Lots of co-curricular activities are conducted for students to be a part of. Festivals are great.

Really good infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: The no of students placed in my course was 60 in the first year then later in the second year, 15 Diploma students were admitted making a total of 75 students. The highest package received last year was around 10.5 Lacs and the lowest was around 3.5 Lacs. Amazon, LNT, Infosys, TCS are the top recruiting companies in the computer engineering department. Most of our students get internships during sem end breaks in our college and some of them do courses or search for internships outside.
Infrastructure: For the Computer Engineering Course we have Super Fast Wi-Fi, well-equipped hardware as well as software labs. The classrooms are well spaced and there is enough ventilation. The library has a good amount of material regarding our curriculum and more. Don Bosco is known for its extra curricular activities and sports. We have a huge football ground, a basketball ground and a top court where people usually play footvolley and box cricket. We also have a Boys Common Room and a Girls Common Room where indoor games like Table tennis, carrom are available. We also have a great medical facility and also Kohinoor Hospital is 5 minutes away from the campus. The only negative point is the canteen food except for the veg and chicken Thali, the food is kind of bland.
Faculty: The entire faculty right from the Principal to the teachers to the lab assistants all are quite knowledgeable and helpful. They really go out of their way to help a student if he/she requires any assistance. DBIT follows the Mumbai University course curriculum, but it doesn't make students completely Industry Ready because we can't argue with the university of Mumbai to make the Curriculum much more hands on.
Other: I had thought about choosing computer engineering right from 12th, due to its broad scope. This course unlike IT deals in depth with both the software as well as the hardware of computers. I would want more of a real time industrial field trips to understand where we utilize the information that we learn and study throughout the four years of Engineering. We have various events in our campus Hysteria is an intra college fest, Colosseum is a fest only for DBIT students and it is a technical fest usually taking place in the even semester. The computer department has a Game Development event known as Teknack where students of not only computers but also other departments can develop games and publish it on Play Store under the guidance of students from the computer department. We also have different student chapters Like ACM for Comps, IEEE for EXTC, ISHRAE for MECH, and CSI for IT. We have the student council which heads all these things and works for the students' benefit.
