It has a good environment, a solid campus, and proper growth, which depends on us.
Placements: DBIT has a decent placement record. Many placements are in IT services and tech companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini. A few product-based companies also visit, but it is competitive. The average package ranges from 3.5-4.5 LPA. The highest package offered is more than 10 LPA, depending on our skills. Internships are usually self-sourced or offered in the final year.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are clean with projectors in most. The library is big and has good resources. Wi-Fi is available, but speed can vary. The canteen is decent with reasonable food options. There's no in-campus hostel, but PGs nearby are manageable.
Faculty: Faculty members are a mix. Some faculty members are really helpful and knowledgeable. Other faculty members just read off slides. The course curriculum is under Mumbai University (NEP 2020), so it is a bit updated but still theory-heavy. Exams happen twice a semester, i.e., internals + end-semester. They can be unpredictable at times. Labs are strict based on attendance.

Absolutely satisfied with college experience.
Placements: From EXTC average package is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top company is L&T. L&T has internship paid programs upto Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. 90% of students got internships. Overall college placement percentage is above 90%. Top roles as in class representative, tech representative, and sports representative are the roles that are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there and allowed mostly in libraries but sometimes they allow us to use canteen and lab Wi-Fi. Classrooms are spacious. Food is really good. Canteens are also renovated now. I don't know about mess and hostel though. Medical facilities are there. There is a first aid room.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. I personally got attention because I was failing. Semester exams are moderate for EXTC it is a little bit tough though. I am not comparing. But teachers are really very helpful. Passing percentage for EXTC is 75%.
Other: Cultural and tech events are two most the biggest events in our college. Crowd is crazy for that but it also respects the event, and all come together and enjoy it.

About 3 years of BE in mechanical engineering.
Placements: From the batch of 2025, around 40% of students are placed till now and placements are still on going. The highest package is 9.5 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA - 7 LPA. Amazon, Zepto, Toyo Engineering, TCS, L&T, and these kinds of top companies came for recruitment. 100% of internships are provided by the college. Top roles like junior engineer in L&T and hub manager in Zepto are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided on all floors. All the labs are better and internet is provided in computer labs like solidworks labs and simulation labs. In library, there is Wi-Fi. There is one digital library where you can download paid research papers and books for free of cost. Hostel is not in our college but hostel cell provides better hostels in a nearby location which has amenities like Wi-Fi, ACs, and washing machines.
Faculty: All teachers have done Ph.D. in their respective subjects. Rest have done masters. All faculty members are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. They not only teach theory-based, they also provide industrial visits to get hands-on what is actually in industries. Semester exams are like if you attend all the lectures, you will not face difficulty in exams. Passing marks are like 8 out of 20 and for end-semester its like 32 out of 80 marks.
Other: I have interest in mechanical engineering since when I was in 9th grade. Best thing about this course is that you get to know how industries work and their mechanisms.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placement cell is very helpful, and it coordinates with students. It provides the necessary details. They also give insights and prepare their students. Many students got placed at very good companies and with better packages compared to other colleges and other placement cells.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is very nice. It has a spacious library and classrooms for students to study. It has an amazing canteen facility. The hygiene is also maintained. It also has amazing medical facilities and different games or sports zones.
Faculty: Teachers at this college are very helpful. They are very qualified and have proper knowledge of the curriculum. The teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum taught here is relevant, and it prepares students to face the industrial market.
Other: Events are happening in this college. There are many fests and educational fests. The campus crowd, compared to other colleges, is better. The campus surroundings are very nice. The college also provides extracurricular activities for students.

Good college in Mumbai. Placements are good compare to other tier 3 colleges in Mumbai.
Placements: It is difficult to say the exact percentage because placements are still ongoing, but more than 50% of eligible students with a 6.75 CGPA are placed. The highest packages are offered by Godrej and Keyence for the mechanical department, which are 7.5 LPA and 6.91 LPA, respectively. Other companies like Bajaj Mukund, Thermax, Aker Solutions, Econship, and many local companies visit our campus with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Internships are provided for mechanical students during summer vacation mostly in 2nd and 3rd year by the college in local companies, some companies also hire interns for placements.
Infrastructure: I give 4 out of 5 stars to the infrastructure. All facilities labs, classrooms, and the library are good. It is value for money. There is no hostel facility provided by the college. One star is deducted because there are no ACs in classrooms or the library. There are two canteens one is a kind of cafe, and the other is a regular canteen. Food is good in both canteens. Carrom boards and table tennis facilities are also available in the college. Every year, there is a sports week where many sports, including football, cricket, kabaddi, running, etc., are conducted. Overall, it is the best experience.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, motivated, and well-qualified. Honestly speaking, the course curriculum is under Mumbai University, which does not make students fully industry-ready but clears all basic concepts. The semester exams are conducted under Mumbai University. Supervision is very strict, even during internal exams. Many students get backlogs every semester. I would say the pass percentage is around 75%.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because I always love to work on-site, in the field, or in a hybrid mode not just sitting on one chair in front of computers. I also have an interest in machines and how they work. Fests are good. Honestly, I have not attended many because I live far from college. There are many curricular and extracurricular activities as well. Scholarships are also provided for students who come under specific caste categories.

I'm satisfied with amazing faculty, campus, and good placement.
Placements: My college offers a great placement and they have a huge placement cell where they prepare students for the campus interviews. A lot of alumni seminars are also organized so that the batch can get an idea. Amazing companies visit the campus for recruiting and almost maximum students got placed.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library are neat with ample space for students to fit in. The library has updated books as per the curriculum and a proper system for logging the books. Classrooms are spacious and well-equipped and so is the labs with proper Wi-Fi connectivity.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they made us feel at home and made us understand the curriculum in a very easy way. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable, their techniques are very unique, catch modern, and easy to understand and grasp easily for us.
Other: I chose this course because this college offers great academic and placement, also the faculty is amazing and offers hands-on experience to students.
