Doon Business School provides BCom admissions to eligible candidates who qualify in the selection process. The selection process is primarily based on the Class 12 merit obtained by the applicants. The applicants' CUET UG scores may also be taken into consideration. The selection procedure also includes an online interview and a written test. However, the candidates who have scored more than 60 percentile in CUET or at least 70% in the four core subjects in Class 12 are exempted from the online interview.

After pursuing BCom (Hons) from Doon Business School, the graduates can build a career in a variety of fields. Some of the industries that provide career opportunities for BCom graduates are listed below:

• Financial Technologies (FinTech): The subjects and specialisations included in BCom (Hons) at the institute are relevant for the emerging industry of FinTech. Graduates can be employed in the fields of E-commerce, Payment Technologies, Consulting, etc. They can also start their own entrepreneurial venture in these fields.
• Banking and Insurance: The programme makes the graduates employable for the Banking & Financial Services and the Insurance (BFSI) sector. The recruiting companies include Axis Bank, Deloitte, IDBI Bank, HCL, HAFELE, Asian Paints, and Zara. The average and the highest packages offered during BCom placements are INR 5.7 LPA and INR 13 LPA, respectively.
