Instead of an MTech, Dr DY Patil School of Engineering and Technology offers a full-time Master of Engineering (ME). It is a PG-level programme in the field of Engineering. The merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s score in GATE.GATE is a national-level examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology offers 10 full-time courses. The school offers UG, PG and Diploma level programmes in affiliation with Pune University.
