Instead of an MTech, Dr DY Patil School of Engineering and Technology offers a full-time Master of Engineering (ME). It is a PG-level programme in the field of Engineering. The total course duration is two years. Students can choose among the following three ME streams or specialisations available at the institute:

• ME in Computer Engineering
• ME in Structural Engineering
• ME in Construction Management

The DY Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the two year long Masters of Technology in Mechanical Engineering programme. Recognized by the AICTE and accredited 'A' Grade by the NAAC.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M.Tech AT Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology:-

• Candidate should be an Indian National.
• Passed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45 % in case of Backward class categories and Person with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
• Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought
• Obtained Non-Zero positive score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.

• For sponsored candidate, minimum two years of full time work experience in a registered firm / company/ industry/ educational and/or research institute / any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is sought.

1.GATE/ MHT-CET (Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test)/JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) scores are accepted by Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology for M.Tech. In most colleges of India administers the national-level GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) entrance exam to candidates seeking admission to postgraduate engineering programs.

UG B.E. B.Tech At the undergraduate level, DY Patil Engineering College offers a B.A.E. in Engineering for students interested in a career in Science and technology. The course is offered in seven different specializations over a period of four years. For the first time, students must pass level 10+2 or an equivalent grade in these subjects with the minimum grades specified by the university. In order to be considered for admission, suitable candidates must complete a joint entrance test.
