The placement rate at MIT Pune in 2021 was above 80%. Packages ranged from 6.5 LPA on average to 37.26 LPA, the highest package given in 2021.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) results are used to determine admission to SIT Pune's M.Tech programme, which is then followed by counselling. Those who have taken the GATE exam can apply online at SIT Pune's official website.

Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 750 at the time of registration.

SIT Pune M.Tech admission takes place through the GATE exam, but if candidates want to enrol for the M.Tech programme through the MHT CET entrance exam they can apply for admission in integrated BTech + M.Tech programme at the university. Admissions for the integrated programme takes place through the MHT CET entrance test and the programme runs for five years giving an integrated BTech and M.Tech degree.

Yes, Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune accepts GATE scores for admission to M.Tech programme. Aspirants who have not passed or appeared for GATE, can take admission by appearing for the SIT Entrance Exam. Selected candidates are then further called for a personal interview round. Once the selection process is over, the institute releases a merit list based on entrance examination scores, branch preferences, and availability of seats.  

The total tuition fee for SIT Pune M.Tech ranges between INR 80,000 and INR 5.6 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates need to pay the course fee at the time of admission to confirm their seat in the institute. Besides, aspirants also need to pay an application fee of INR 1,500 to register for M.Tech programme.

MTech is offered in four different specialisations with a course duration of two years. M.Tech programme is spread across four semesters. Candidates who have passed BE/ BTech in the relevant discipline from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ ST category candidates) can apply for SIT Pune M.Tech programme. 

SIT Pune has not released its placement data for M.Tech programmes. The institute has released its placement details and the average package in 2024 was INR 9.32 LPA, whereas the highest package was INR 50 LPA. 77.8% of students who appeared for placements got an offer in the placement rounds. The placement data consists of BTech and M.Tech data combined, candidates should make their decision accordingly.

Yes, candidates can take admission in SIT Pune BTech programme with MHT CET score. However, aspirants without the score need to provide the scorecard at the end of the admission process during document verification. SIT Pune releases a merit list based on entrance examination scores, branch preferences, and availability of seats.
