- The MHT CET 2026 application portal for session 2 is closed for admission to the BE/BTech and Integrated BTech courses. The session 2 exams will be conducted from May 12 to May 15, 2026, and then from May 18 to May 21, 2026.
- The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to ME/MTech programmes. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.

There is no fee for MHT CET counselling registration. Candidates can register and participate in counselling without any fee. They need to pay the seat confirmation fees once the seat is allotted to them.
MHT CET counselling and seat allotment process has several steps. Once a seat is allotted to candidate, he/she has option to “Accept and Freeze” and “Accept and Float”. If he/she is satisfied with allotted seat and selects first option, participation in next round counselling is not allowed. If candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he/she can select second option and participate in next round of counselling with the current seat.

As per the MHT CET exam information brochure, the difficulty level of MHT CET exam is similar to JEE Mains. Candidates are thus advised to prepare by keeping in mind that the questions in MHT CET will be of the same difficulty level as JEE Main. However, the syllabus of MHT CET is very less in comparison to JEE Main.

A minimum of 50% in Class 12 (or its equivalent) is required to meet the eligibility requirements for the B.Tech programme at the Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology. - Obtained Non-Zero positive score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.
