Good placement in 2023 and best faculty.
Placements: 90% of students of batch 2018 who got passed out from college in 2023 got placement in the same year of 2023. The remaining students are preparing for the NEET PG exam. There is a guarantee of 100% placement from Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College.
Infrastructure: Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College has a great campus which is recently renovated. All the infrastructure is upgraded recently, thus there is a great experience of being a student in this college. A sports meet is organized every year. This college has a great place in sports among all colleges in Himachal Pradesh. Hostels are good and the food is also good, hygienic, and healthy.
Faculty: All the teachers in Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College are well-educated and well-mannered doctors. They all are very helpful and great at their jobs. They teach us, support us, and make us feel like family. Semester exams have a moderate level of difficulty. More than 60% of students got passed in semester exams.
Other: MBBS is a very reputed and appreciated course in India. Also, being a doctor is a proud profession. This course allows us to serve our country and our people. For this course, I think seats should be increased. New medical colleges should be made in India. An inter college Annual Fest is organized once a year. A sports meet is organized. An intercollege Annual Fest is also organized every year.

Pride of India -: The Doctors.
Placements: Almost 100% placements are being provided. The lowest package is 25000 per month or the highest can go above 2 Lacs per month. All the students pursuing this course got opportunity of internship. Usually the internship is provided in same state that is Himachal in my case.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure right now is not that good but a new building is being prepared. That building will be having the college and the hospital too. The infrastructure of the new builis too good and impressive. Faculty members are the top most. The best faculty of Himachal are there in Dr. Radhakrishnan government medical college. Food is hygienic and tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they teach in a very interesting and helpful manner. I feel glad to be in this college where teachers are too good. This course is very relevant yes it does make the students industry ready. Semester exans covers all the important topics of subject and difficult level is quite satisfying.
Other: Being an MBBS student is a proud.

Quiet satisfied, a promising future but dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: For this course you need to pass an entrance exam called NEET-UG with a suitable rank, it is competitive and the cutoff is very high only a handful of people get a chance to enter this course. This will help me to become a doctor in the future. There is no such placement like engineering college but we have a paid internship program at the end of this 5-year course which is a must it pays over 18k per month after that you can pursue medicine further by getting a PG seat through another entrance exam called NEET-P.
Infrastructure: This is a temporary campus, the permanent one is under construction and this campus is not so good there is a lack of enough lecture halls, parking spaces, grounds, and auditorium, and this place is too small for the very large population of Hamirpur. Wi-Fi service is not available. There are no such hostels of college but there are some private hostels that are under the control of college administration. They have a basic mess, clean rooms, and laundry service with a moderate monthly bill. There are 4-5 such private hostels in Hamirpur.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. I think better than any other GMC in this state. They know how to teach. They use slide shows for lectures often integrating them with clinical aspects which are the actual thing for MBBS. There are labs too emphasizing the clinical aspect of medicine. This curriculum is relevant I mean no country can thrive without doctors. This is a structural course and makes them a good doctor. Semester exams are difficult due to a vast syllabus, and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I have wanted to become a doctor since I was in 7th grade and this is the only course offering this opportunity. The best thing for me is the art of diagnosing a patient itself, it amazes me. I think there is a very large gap between professors and students, professors are too strict and rude while students are very afraid this creates a very large barrier in the learning gap, and it should be minimized to a great extent if possible. There is an annual college fest, this year it will take place in April.

This is a good college for taking admission in MBBS.
Placements: There are 120 seats in our college for each batch. I took admission here in 2023. I will complete my course in 2028. Our college was established in 2018, and the first passing-out intern batch was in 2018. The average cost of this course at our college is around 2–3 LPA for the whole course.
Infrastructure: I am disappointed with the hostel facilities at my college because there is no government hostel in our college. We have to live either in PGs or private hostels. Rooms available for rent are too costly, which could be expensive for middle-class students.
Faculty: I am giving 5 stars to the faculty. Professors are very down-to-earth and experienced. They help the students as much as they can. The teaching method and exam curriculum are also good. The heads of every department handle the study schedule.
Other: Honesty on the campus is third-class, not up to the level of a medical college. But work at the new college is ongoing, and we will be shifted there ASAP.
