Review of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements. If you do master's degree after a bachelor's degree, you will get high salary packages.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not much good. All classrooms are not well-maintained. Windows and walls are broken. There are no proper switchboards in classrooms. Fans do not work well. Our college provides free Wi-Fi. The library is good. We can study properly in the library. You can play various games on campus like basketball, volleyball, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. They complete the syllabus very fast. They don't conduct classes regularly. Computer classes are held properly. Physics and chemistry classes are not conducted. Semester exams are not much difficult. You can get good marks if you study properly. Semester exams are not conducted on time.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Our college conducts events, fests, and extracurricular activities. It organises excursions every year. The campus is huge.

I am satisfied with the course and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are 70%. The highest salary package is 14 LPA and the lowest salary package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Infosys, HP, etc. No internships are offered. Top roles offered are professors and assistant professors.

Infrastructure: College has a well-structured lab and library with air-conditioners but Wi-Fi is not available. Hostel students are provided with a Wi-Fi facility. College has its ground where regular sports events are organised.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and give their best to help students throughout the course. Courses help to understand real-life problems. Semester exams are tough so it would motivate students to focus more. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: Since childhood, I was interested in mathematics and got a good background from a few teachers who made their future in Maths so I chose this course. Campus organises a lot of events and fests throughout the year. Students as well as professors take part in the events and give their co-ordinations.

Our college provides good infrastructure, quality education, and proper facilities.

Placements: The placement record is not up to the mark as it is not a vocational course. There are placements in the final year by the placement cell. Most of the students prefer to study further to get a good placement, and post-graduation will be the better option.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure available in the mathematics department is not bad. Classrooms are huge enough to hold more than 150 students in a single sitting. They also provide a library for both undergraduate and post-graduate students. You can find the canteen and xerox stationery shop across the road. It also conducts sports and games nowadays.

Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is great. They are so helpful all the time. They provide a good base and the quality to increase the performance in semester examinations. Semester exams are not too tough if a student pays proper attention in the classroom. There will be two subsidiary papers and MIL paper along with the honors paper.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is one of the best courses through which you can opt for many other master's degrees. You can also opt for MCA, MBA, M.Sc, IT, research field, etc., through graduation in Mathematics. It becomes easy to go for such courses for mathematics graduate students.

This is good college if you want to go for degree.

Placements: As it is a government college many students take admission here just for the degree. The placement goes hardly 20-40% per year. Students get salary packages between 5 LPA - 2 LPA. Our college provides internship opportunities with some companies situated in the city itself other than that students are free to do internships online or offline anywhere.

Infrastructure: In mathematics department, there is availability of Wi-Fi, big class room. I don't have an idea about hostels as it is reserved for scheduled caste and scheduled tribes. Private hostels and lodges are available nearby university. The library has all the required books.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and experienced teachers. The syllabus they follow is not that new but not that old too. Semester exams are generally conducted on time and if the students are attending classes regularly they can score well easily though they do not give high CGPA in the first second and third semesters. They just need to go through books properly.

Other: I chose the college because it was affordable and yet valuable. The syllabus of our course can be improved. There are many fests and events organised in the college and the department. Students can take part in sports activities and other curricular activities. Students get scholarships from E-Kalyan a government of Jharkhand initiative.

If anyone is planning to take admission in Ranchi, then it is a very good college.

Placements: In this college, students can get an average salary of Rs. 15,000 per month if they want placements from the college. However, the college invites some companies for placements. The role offered is also on an average scale. I don't find any internship for us in due course.

Infrastructure: The college converted to DSPMU from RCR, so the infrastructure is also getting better day by day. Now we have equipment for many kinds of sports, and the renovation of the building is also done. There is no canteen until now. However, there are many stalls beside our college.

Faculty: Teachers here are excellent, and they teach us in a manner by which we are able to clear our doubts. However, if some doubts are still left, then we can contact our teacher, and they resolve it. They teach us in a manner that we are ready to take the future master degree in that subject.
