Placements: E. G. S Pillay Engineering College is one of the more reputed engineering college. Many MNC companies visit the college campus for interviews. The college placement training team brought Teach Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, reliance, etc. for our placements. The highest salary package is 8 LPA. In 2021 passed out batch, 95 percentage students were placed.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and facilities are very nice. Many department libraries are available in the college. Full campus has free Wi-Fi network and CCTV camera facilities are available. Nobody can move without permission in the college campus. The college library facility is very good. Boys and girls hostel are also available the college. Both veg and non veg foods also available in the college hostel. Basketball and badminton, sports grounds facilities are also available.
Faculty: E. G. S. Pillay Engineering College faculty members are very qualified. They are teaching very well. They conduct many internal exams in every month. They take more practical classes also. More than 90 percent students pass in semester exams. They arrange many industry visit programs in every semester.
Other: The college is located at good environment place. The college provides good hostel and transportation facilities. The college conducts many social awareness events every month. They give more scholarships and certificates to all students. The college conducts many sports events every month.

This college is average in placements-wise.
Placements: Around 20% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was Rs 70,000. Recruiting companies were very low, and only 10% of students were placed in the company. The internship was not available by college only a certificate was given. Top recruiting companies for TCL were only given by mechanical and its management.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was very good. The canteen and food were very hygienic. Hostel rooms only provided Wi-Fi. Laboratories and Library provide air-conditioner. A canteen and medical facilities were available. The sports and games were 50% comfortable. Canteen facilities improved by the management.
Faculty: Teachers were fully knowledgeable and teaching outsole. The exam was 100% genuine and maintained a class reputation. Students finishing the course fully industry-ready. Semester exams were generally time table given by the head of the department, and neatly provided instruction to the exam hall.
Other: I opted for this course, because it was with future reference. I am only improving myself. The college contains events by the department, and a minimum of 1 event per year was held. Scholarships students will succeed, and extracurriculars were not effective.

A strict college with rules for the students.
Placements: There were no placements for the civil branch, last year. It is very rare for the civil students to get placements. No core companies will be there for civil. Many of them get the jobs in the outside companies. It is a small company, and the students took unaffiliated jobs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is there, but the use of mobiles on the campus is strictly prohibited. The labs are good. The college was good in nature. Its outlook is okay, but inside there is nothing much. It provides bus facilities also.
Faculty: Many of the faculty are knowledgeable. But, some of them are rude in nature. They cannot help us with the problem. They upset us. They are not good in character. Many of them will be friendly with us, but sometimes, they will not be in a good manner.

Other: Hi, this is Arul studying B.E civil engineering in EGS Pillay engineering college Nagapattinam. It is a good college around the entire district and the college has been given an A Grade NBA certificate by the Anna University. The infrastructure has been good in our college and there is a special basketball court at my college. The college offers major engineering courses and they provide proper education to the students. Bus facilities have been made to commute around the region of Nagapattinam, and they provide hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The management encourages the student by providing medals for the toppers. And our college includes various courses such as diploma, arts and science. It is a very nice college to study and special coaching classes have been arranged by the management to improve the weak students, hence we have a good management and staff members.
