Good faculty and infrastructure .
Placements: 1. In my course, there are 60 students enrolled. 2. In my course, the average package is 35 LPA. 3. Companies like Biocon, Serum Institute of India, Bharat Biotech, Dr. Teddy's, and Syngene visit here. 4. 100% of students got internships in the Department of Biotechnology, TIFAC Summer Internship Programme, MapmyGenome Genetic Counseling Internship, and Pfizer Internship. 5. Top roles offered are: Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Business Development Director, Epidemiologist, and Chief Medical Officer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The classroom is big and air conditioned. There are three libraries: two central libraries and one departmental library. The library is also air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi. The hostel is well structured and has all the facilities. Canteen is good, food quality is good, and it has a variety in it. There is one hospital at the university. There is proper sports conducted time to time.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and experienced. Teaching quality is excellent. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little tough, but if you study properly, you will be able to clear them. Passing percentage is 33%.

Facilities and faculty members are good.
Placements: Placements are moderate. If you study well and complete the course with a good CGPA, you can surely get placements. The average salary package offered in this college is about 3 to 4 LPA, but it depends on our result and talent. If you are academically good, then you can get good placements.
Infrastructure: Food served is good, and there is a separate library for all departments. There are different labs for different departments, and you can use both library and labs at any time. Classrooms are very good, neat and clean. Hostel facilities are normal and not that expensive.
Faculty: All the teachers are very good and helpful. They teach you thoroughly about the subject and course. You just have to focus on your studies and acquiring lots of knowledge. You can enjoy the course of B.Sc biotechnology as this course is interesting.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is a very good course.

It is a great college but improvement worthy.
Placements: Researchers, professors, scientists, dairy industry, food industry, forensic labs, etc., were the types of roles offered in our course. The average salary package offered ranges differ from 3 LPA to 4 LPA approximately. More than 60% of the students got satisfactorily placed. Though more companies should be called.
Infrastructure: Labs and libraries were updated always. The entire department had a centralised air conditioning system. Our college was attached to a hospital for any case of emergency. Rules were to be followed must and the management was the best. The hostel was also clean.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well qualified and extremely genuine. They were always on time and they provided great study materials. Students get a lot of practical training which makes them industry-ready. Though little guidance regarding the future would be good.
Other: Extra-curricular activities were great. Hence they provide overall personality development.

Our college doesn't provide placement with respect to our course but its good in other fields.
Placements: Approximately 20% of the students got placed based on their marking scheme. The salary packages offered are decided based on the companies. There are only a few chances of a biotech company and to got an intern in marketing values. A senior manager or HR role can be advised with companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in our college are good with large classrooms and air conditioner facilities. Labs are huge and Wi-Fi connection is better than our data. We have 3 libraries on different floors. Hostel facilities are good but the food served is not good or either depends on the cook. Hospital is available for students with great facility.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified. But teaching strategies are not good enough so you have to study with yourself and crack the competition. Courses are relevant and students can find jobs in the industrial field.
Other: I opted for this course because it has a great scope in different fields through its subjects. There should not be more than 2 subjects with one title because we have already studied the same thing. Many events are held with respect to other departments like farewell, fest, alumni, sports, and conferences. The campus crowd is more. Scholarships are also available but not for all students. There are some rules for that.

Great infrastructure, excellent faculty.
Placements: Around 15-20 students from my senior batch got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40000 per month and the minimum was Rs. 25000 per month. The average salary package was Rs. 35000 per month. The top recruiters in our college are VNR Seeds, Amanda, Nuziveedu Seeds, Kaveri Jadoo seeds company, Prabhakar High seeds company, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge campus. Every course has been assigned a different block in the premises. The labs are well maintained. The classrooms are huge and there are ample number of books in the library. The college also provides hostel facility to students which are inside the campus itself. High security is maintained in the college.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well qualified and have a good knowledge of their subjects. All of them have Ph.D. They have excellent teaching skills and they also focus on providing practical knowledge to students. The college also organises various industrial trips to different industries. The course curriculum is relevant and updated.
Other: The college organises various events and cultural fests inside the campus. Various educational activities are also held.

The college provides excellent infrastructure, great faculty and course curriculum.
Placements: Placements in our college are good, and the college also offers jobs in other countries. Companies like Bayer Crop, Chemical Fertilizers Limited, etc., visit our college and offer the salary that ranges between Rs. 15,000-40,000 per month. The salary offered by GDS company is Rs. 60,000 per month. In 2017, students got selected in Xolo, an Australian company. About 39 students got selected for South Indian Pathology. The placement cell of the university is excellent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is wonderful. The library has more than 40,000 volumes, which include textbooks, journals, etc., and the accommodation is also great. The university provides 8 hostels on campus, but the food served is not very good. Rooms are spacious, and it has good storage. There are different blocks for different branches. There is always a cordial atmosphere on the campus.
Faculty: The college offers a wide range of courses. I am pursuing in the B.Sc. (Hons) in Biotechnology course. The course curriculum has a balance of theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Students spend at least 6-7 hours in laboratories in a week. The college conducts frequent visits to different farms. All the professors in our college are highly qualified, and they have a great sense of responsibility. They conduct tests every two weeks to assess the performance of students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was always interested in it. I feel that this course has an excellent curriculum, and it couldn't have been better. Various events and fests are organised at our college every month. Various seminars are also conducted at regular intervals. We are also encouraged to go and practice at other institutes during the vacations.

The college has its pros and cons as every college in India.
Placements: The overall placement at Shuats for undergraduate and postgraduate courses have varied over the years. In 2024, the highest package offered across all disciplines was over 10 LPA, while the average range from 6 LPA. Specific placement rates for B.Sc. Biotechnology is not explicitly stated but is part of the university's broader placement efforts.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, so I don't know the truth about the hostel, but as much I heard it's okay. As for the infrastructure of the college, it is good for biotech. Classroom and Lecture Halls are well-equipped with audio-visual aids to support modern teaching methodologies. Labs are well-equipped with all the necessary equipment with the facilities for DNA extraction, PCR analysis, and other essential equipment required in technological studies. We have Wi-Fi and a library too.
Faculty: The faculty is good. The faculty members in the biotechnology department are generally well-qualified, holding advanced degrees such as M.Sc., M. Tech, etc. The Curriculum aligns well with contemporary development in biotechnology, covering topics like molecular biology, genetic engineering, and bioprocess technology. And the exams are well-scheduled.
Other: The college is good if you want to enjoy your life with a good education at the same time.

Overall the Collage is good if you want to study and learn new things and get new experiences
Placements: The number of student is decent, In terms of placement , about 70 % student from y senior batch secure jobs . The Roles offered were good . While There were some opportunities, the overall placement percentage and packages could have been better.....
Infrastructure: the infrastructure and facilities foe biotech students are good AC classroom and well maintain labs, Regarding hostels , the accommodations are satisfactory, with clean rooms and basic amenities. however, the quality of food in the mess and canteen varies; soe dayes are better than others , but generally acceptable
Faculty: Teachers are Helpful and knowledgeable , the quality of teaching is really good. The course curriculum is relevant to current industry standards, and it does prepare students foe workforce to some extent. However , the could be more emphasis on practical applications and hand-on experience to enhance industry readiness.
Other: I choose this course because of my interest in biotechnology, The number of classes in a week can be improve for bsc biotech course
