The admission process for SHUATS is primarily based on the SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET) and merit-based online/offline counseling. For various diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs, the admission is granted through Open Online Counseling.

The college's infrastructure is good, and they provide every facility. The college provides hostels for boys and girls separately. Admission to the hostel was based on a first-come, first-served basis, and preferences are given to the non-local students. The infrastructure of the hostel was good and well-facilitated with Wi-Fi, gym, etc.
