In Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, 95 BA LLB and 4,201 PG (2-year) students were placed during 2022 placements. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) conduct entrance test which is WBCHSE entrance test, by which students can take admission at this Institute. Cutoffs will be released by the Institute according to the seats intake and applications. So, to take admissions at this Institute only this entrance test is to be qualified and students cannot use CLAT score to take admissions.

For SC/ST/persons with disabilities (disability 40% or more), a minimum of 40% marks in the best four subjects is required, excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE.
