Top B-Schools in India have been supporting academic diversity to a great extent. This is where your BA background can help you get admission.
Even if you will start off at a slight disadvantage as compared to your B-school classmates, you can always prepare for it before hand and try to cope up in due course of time. Survival will have more to do with your mindset, attitude and ability to learn new subjects in the given time frame. To get a head start, you can go through online material pertaining to MBA subjects and can even enroll in MOOC offered on various educational websites and learn fundamentals (and advanced topics too) of B-school subjects like accounting, operations, networking, digital marketing, etc.
All the best!

Sectional cut-off is clubbed into cumulative scores and then Only Overall cutoff has been applicable for all categories.

Your past academic scores do not matter for admission to FMS. As long as you are going to complete your graduation in time, you can always apply for CAT and seek admission to FMS through the regular admission procedure.

Provisionally shortlisted candidates are generally kept on hold who have backlogs or are yet to complete graduation with all subjects passed, rRest all candidates are shortlisted directly.
