FGIET is a cool option if you don't IET Lucknow or BIET Jhansi in UPSEE.
Placements: In this year 2017-18, from computer engineering, 4 students were placed in Infosys, 4 were placed in TCS, 3 were in HCL, 1 in Oracle and continuing. The companies visiting FGIET are Infosys, HCL, Wipro, Airtel, TCS, Oracle, BSNL, gate, iFlex etc. The average salary offered was 3.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The academic building has full Wi-Fi access, fully air-conditioned computer labs and almost 50 computers are there. Classrooms are big which is similar to that of a school and can accommodate up to 60 students at a time. Hostels are big like 2 students can live in a single room.
Faculty: The faculty members here are like teachers. They are good up to a certain level. They have limited knowledge in which they excel, and are good for normal students. They use mostly Hindi as a means of communication and use chalk and board to teach. The ratio of faculty- students is 1:15.
