Review of G.S. Mandal's Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT, Aurangabad).

Placements: The college has a low percentage rate of placements. Most of the students are not selected during placements. The highest package for the civil engineering course is 2 LPA. Only 3 students got placed out of 60 from one batch. Students got placed in Shubhshree Engineering and Construction company.

Infrastructure: The facilities of the college are not so bad. There are very good facilities in sports. It has well-developed grounds for cricket, football, and volleyball. The infrastructure of the college is good. There are all departments in one or two buildings. Classrooms are available with advanced technology. The library is also available for students.

Faculty: The most important thing is the teachers of the civil department. They support students for the right things. The teaching quality of the civil department is bad. Teachers are qualified but they do not make an impact on teaching. They are not helpful. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this college because I want the college in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. I wish that the teaching quality needs to be improved, and the rest of the things are okay. Fest is celebrated.

Our college is the best college.

Placements: 15% of students got placed in our branch. The highest, lowest and average packages offered are 4, 2, and 3 LPA, respectively. L&T is the top recruiter. 40% of students get internships. Students also go for walk-in interviews. Maximum students got placed in various civil construction sites and companies.

Infrastructure: Good, elegant and useful infrastructure is available in our department. All the facilities like Wi-Fi and libraries are available. Our hostel is the best in the Aurangabad district. The quality of food available in mess and canteen is awesome. All sports are available.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. We can gain more knowledge from them. Our course is mostly curriculum relevant. The difficulty level of exams is average. Our exams are of 60 marks, and the criteria for passing is 40.

Other: Our batch students are very intelligent amongst all of the batches. The supportive staff play an important role in our college life.

MIT offers good placements and it is a good choice for ambitious students.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA-3 LPA. MNCs like Ajeet Seed and many others were top recruiting companies. Almost 50% of total students got internships from our courses in companies like Ajeet Seeds, etc. The quality role was mostly offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The department was very good. Infrastructure was new during our course duration. Our department was under construction. Labs, classrooms, and the library were excellent. Hostel was very good. The food served in the mess was average. The canteen was very good and medical facilities were provided. The sports ground was in good condition for students.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of many teachers was very good, and understandable to everyone. The course curriculum was relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams were hard. The pass percentage of students was 75%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Good opportunities are available for this course. Practical knowledge should be there for a better understanding of subjects. Events held were very interesting. The crowd was much on campus. Scholarships were available for backward students. Extracurricular activities also had good students participation.

It has a good library with books facility and an average rate of placements.

Placements: Various companies, like L&t and Infosys, visit our college for placements. About 25% of the students got placed in good companies. The average salary package offered ranges between 3-4 LPA. About 50% of the students got an internship.

Infrastructure: The college provides a good quality of facilities for the students. The library has 4 sections including one digital lab, where students can use computers. There are a number of computers with a printer which is helpful for project work. Other 3 sections of the lab have a good and peaceful environment for focusing. Good quality of books is available in the library. The infrastructure of our college is good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified. They are from good institutes like NIT and IIT. They have good industrial experience. They are helpful and humble. I am satisfied with the college as its infrastructure is good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. However, the placements are provided only for mechanical engineering and computer engineering departments, not for other departments. Only one student from mechanical engineering got placed in 2018, and many students from computer science engineering department got placed in Syntel. Some students from the electrical engineering department got placed in Grind Master.

Infrastructure: Jio Wi-Fi facilities are provided on the whole campus. Well-equipped labs are available for every branch. A central library is provided in the main building. A hospital is available on the campus to provide primary treatment. Sports ground is not available. Well-established e-learning labs are provided.

Faculty: Teachers are post-graduates, and many of them are PhD holders. Many of them have experience abroad. They are both practical as well as theoretical knowledge about the subjects. There are 1-2 faculty members for every subject.

Other: Kalavihangam is the annual gathering is conducted for students every year. The campus is quite huge. Parking facilities are provided for staff and students.

Taking admission in MIT is really worth the money you have paid.

Placements: College management do their best to get placement to each and every student of college. The college had collaboration with many industries, and their reputation is also good. This year, 7 companies came to our campus for interviews and more than 45 students get selected out of 120 from Civil Engineering branch.

Infrastructure: College have separate building for civil engineering department. Department have their own laboratories for different Civil Engineering subjects and central workshop, in huge campus. College have all sport equipment and own ground for cricket and constructing new sport complex. Overall campus is so nice, with green environment. College constructed open amphitheater newly for small events and functions.

Faculty: Mainly, Civil engineering. Department staff is highly educated and full of experience. Mostly teachers have more than 18 years of teaching experience. Most faculty members completed their doctorate in various subject. Two faculty members are in the syllabus committee of University. Curriculum which is decided is so balanced such that both practice and theoretical concepts get cleared.

The college is best. If you are in search of good college, then visit MIT.

Placements: The placements are quite good here, nearly 60% of the students get campus placements with good annual packages, and remaining students also get nice packages if they go outside in search of jobs. Students are sent for internships to nearby industries and office for some good experience. Big companies like Endurance, Varroc, Bajaj, Soft tech etc., and companies from overall India come for the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is best, the college is situated in Aurangabad, and the college buildings are one of the best buildings in the Aurangabad city. The hostels are there for boys and girls. The mess in the canteen is good. The playground and so on are good. Wi-Fi is there, library and classrooms are good enough.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is quite better. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1, it means 1 teacher is available for 20 students. The teachers are friendly and support students in every doubt. Some teachers are too boring, but they are too less.

Other: A lot of events are organised by management.

The placement is okay but not good.

Placements: The placements are not going well for last 2 years for the civil branch. But for other branches, there may be good opportunities because, in the present year, a lot of MNCs came to MIT like Reliance. Because of lack of management in training and placement office, the campus selections are not going well.

Infrastructure: Every department has its own laboratories as per the requirements and needs. The renovation is done every year as per the requirement. Three auditorium halls are available in the college for functional needs. Proper and sufficient parking space is available for students as well as faculty.

Faculty: The faculty members of all the branches are good at teaching. They have lots of experience in the practical field. They guide and encourage students for extracurricular activities. They arrange a lot of workshops for specific subjects as per need. Every department has 3 to 4 PhD holders.

Other: Kalavighanam is the annual event happen in every year in MIT. There is a lot of fun and enjoyment. The particular branches organise the events and fresher's party as well as the occasional functions.
