B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2023

Best moments of my career at MIT Aurangabad.
Placements: Overall UG (4-year) course (graduation batch 2023). Approximately 45% to 50% of CSE students got placed. As per information, 180 out of 417 students got placed. College claims higher overall percentage between 60% to 80% placed in computer science and engineering. The highest package was INR 80 LPA and in 2023 INR 12 LPA. For CSE, the average package ranges between INR 4 LPA to INR 23 LPA. Top recruiting companies in CSE were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Amazon, Red Hat, Cognizant, and Hexaware. The college mentions mandatory internships (20 weeks in the 8th semester).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at MIT Aurangabad was comprehensive, featuring modern digital classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and an extensive central library with vast physical and digital resources. Campus Wi-Fi was available. Hostel facilities were good, with separate buildings for boys and girls. It offered various types and essential amenities like 24X7 security, power, and water. The mess food was generally hygienic and satisfactory. Basic medical facilities were available on campus, supported by the nearby MIT hospital. For sports, there was a ground for cricket, football, and volleyball plus indoor games and a gym. MIT offered well-equipped infrastructure for academic departments including digital classrooms and labs.
Faculty: At MIT Aurangabad, faculty members were generally qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, contributing to a good teaching quality that focuses on practical understanding. Course curriculum was highly relevant and updated due to its autonomous status. They effectively making students industry-ready through project-based learning and mandatory industry training. Semester exams were typically moderately difficult and fair with a good pass percentage for students who study consistently.
Other: As my batch was 2019-2023, I chose computer science and engineering course because of its relevance to the rapidly evolving tech industry. Best aspects included a focus on practical, industry-ready skills through dedicated labs. It provided mandatory internships in companies like TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini. Top roles such as software developer and data analyst were offered. The highest package for CSE was upto INR 23 LPA. The average salary was around INR 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Internship stipend was up to INR 40,000. There was widespread Wi-Fi for students. Campus life was active with events like Technoblitz and various clubs and scholarships like MIT-TARA were available.

It is an average college in my opinion.
Placements: The college is good for placements. I can only it is good and not very bad and also not very best placements. It is an average college for placements. At least 30% of students get placements with the average package of 3 LPA. Roles like frontend, backend, or java full stack developer are offered to students.
Infrastructure: The college has a separate hostel and in that, a separate mess is also available. I don't like the quality of the food in the hostel as it is of average quality, and some days the quality is not acceptable. The college does not support much about sports and games, so students learn or go to outside classes. Facilities are okay.
Faculty: Teachers of the college are well-educated and have a lot of experience in teaching. I like the teaching quality the most. Teachers are supportive in every academic situation. I don't think the course curriculum is relevant because the syllabus is fixed that's why not we are getting outer things or industry things.
Other: I chose this course because I like this course. At my time, it was the most demanding course, and everyone took this course. It should improve the hostel's things or food. It organises the special event named Kalavingham and all MIT celebrates it. There is a scholarship for students.

It is a good college in some aspects.
Placements: The percentage of the students who got placement is low in my batches as the companies do not come for the placement round. Mostly, one or two companies came for the placement round that are good companies. Otherwise, the companies came, but these companies are not very good and do not give high packages to students. The average package is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: I think the college provides good facilities for students, so there are no problems. The Wi-Fi-associated labs are there. Classrooms for my department are very big, with a capacity of 120 students. In the first year, students in one classroom are 60, and in the second year, the class is combined into two divisions. The college has a big library, sports facilities, and a special canteen.
Faculty: Some of the teachers in this college are supporting students and some are not. I met both, thats' why I can say this. Some of the teachers of my department have less experience and some have high experience. The mid sem exam of the college are very simple. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it is near my brother's hometown, and I am interested in courses that are in demand. The best aspect of the college is its facilities. The college has excellent connectivity options, and events and festivals are celebrated in abundance. Surroundings are also pleasant.

The best college for CSE branch.
Placements: For placement, there are top recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS, and top MNCs visiting for students. The percentage of students who got internships is not very high. 20% of students got placed from CSE branch. Roles offered are data analyst and ML engineer.
Infrastructure: Building was built in the 90s and is still good with the great infrastructure and there are all facilities available for students. There are separate labs for every department with unlimited Wi-Fi connection. Wi-Fi is only accessible in lab sessions. Wi-Fi is not available in classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. Almost all teachers hold the Ph.D. degrees. The teachers support students in any event. If any new event is there then teachers inform students and motivate students to take part in that examination.
Other: I chose this college because my friend studied in this college and got placement during the placement period. He gave me the idea to take admission to this college. Kalavingham is an event that occurs once a year and it is a very big event.

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement is the main focus of students for admission at this college. College provides great placements. From my course, 30% of students got internships in various companies like Konax, Wipro, etc. The roles offered in my course are front-end and back-end developers.
Infrastructure: College provides facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library. These are the basic things that any college has. Hostel facilities are also good covering with well room, and food quality in mess is good. Hostel is very near to the college.
Faculty: In any event, the college whether outdoor or not college teachers help students understand their problems. Teachers are helpful. Semester exams are not much hard for the passing criteria. You want to score 40 out of 100 which is really easy.
Other: I chose this college because it is nearer to my house. College is good and the environment around the college is good. We can focus on practical sessions that need to be improved. Connectivity for the college all transport modes are available. There is richshaw stand near college so connectivity is no issue.

Good college for engineering.
Placements: The college provides a great placement ratio; nearly 30 percent of the students get placed during the placement period. The highest package offered by companies is up to 6 LPA, and the average package for Computer Science is 3 LPA. Companies like Mahindra and Wipro came for recruiting.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really good, although the infrastructure is old. There are two buildings, one for B.Tech students and one for polytechnic students. There is a separate canteen for each college inside the campus. The labs, classrooms, and library are well-maintained, and the technical things needed for students are available. The hostel is very close to the college, and the food quality of the mess in the hostel is average.
Faculty: The teachers of this college are really supportive of students; in any condition, teachers tell students the good and bad things. The teachers are well-educated and knowledgeable. The teaching quality for theory is good, but the teaching quality of practical is not as good as students require. The difficulty of exams is not very high. Study one night, and you will pass the exam.
Other: I chose this college because it is near to me. The best thing about the college is the placement ratio is high. The college should improve the teaching quality of the practical section; it is not focusing on the practical section. Events and fests are celebrated in the college, mainly the days program. All the MIT students take part in these events, which are really big and attract others to this college.

Absolutely value for money, take the admission in this college, and it is a very good campus.
Placements: I am a final year student of Computer Science and Engineering department. My perspective: minimum 50% of students are placed through campus placement. The highest package is 18 lacs, the lowest package is 1.8 lacs, and the average package is 3.5 lacs. 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my department are well done. For practical purposes, digital labs are available for individual students with PCs. Digital classrooms are equipped with projectors and mics. Hostel facilities are good, with healthy food and a good environment.
Faculty: In my CSE department, teaching staff are average. Many are female teaching staff. Some teachers are good, qualified, and knowledgeable. The training and placement cell in my college is very good. Every week, placement sessions are held for students and make students ready for the upcoming industry.
Other: I chose B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering because the future of the market is totally online and digital. Overall, everything works through the internet. Many events are held in my college, and one of the best events is Kalavihyagum. It’s a 3-day event with many students participating. It’s very enjoyable, fun, and memorable.
