Decent infrastructure, wonderful greenery, good sports facilities, and average/excellent placements.
Placements: I'm from commerce department, so placements are average and better than those of Science department. Average package of Gargi College is 4 to 6 LPA, which could be up to 22 LPA depending upon individual skill set and practical knowledge. Students bag good internships in our college as the placement cell often conducts seminars on how to build a proper resume and upskill yourself in college life. Top roles offered in my course are audit assistant, consulting assistant, sales and marketing assistant, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Gargi College is decent, with well-organized classrooms, an AC Auditorium, and Wi-Fi connectivity near library. However, to access the password, you need to show your ID and verify it at office. Gargi College has a small campus as compared to North Campus colleges, so we don't have a hostel facility. You can apply for PGs nearby. Sports facilities are good as we have several sports like tennis, cricket, aerobics, yoga, basketball, and volleyball. Usually, sports quota students get benefits, and general students can also apply.
Faculty: Faculty of our college is good, especially commerce department and science department. Course curriculum is relevant for industry, but you need to inculcate required skills and practical knowledge in order to ace excellent roles. Semester exams are easy because they are designed for average students also, so that they can pass. Take help of your teachers and seniors to prepare for exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to build my career in finance and business industries. It would be great if more options were available for sec VAC GE, seats often get full very early. You need to alert as soon as the portals open to fill your preference. We do have a good fest season, but boys are not allowed on the campus except for participants for safety purposes.

Beautiful campus & value for money courses and engaging societies.
Placements: Approximately 70% students got placements through our college placement drives. The highest package offered was 24 LPA approximately. The average package lies around 4 to 5 LPA. Top recruiters were Accenture, DeShaw, ICICI, S&P, Wipro, Genpact, etc. Roles often secured were tax analyst, financial analyst, consulting roles, etc.
Infrastructure: Food quality is mediocre. The campus and infrastructure are up to date, but there is no AC in classrooms. I like the campus greenery. Medical facilities are well-equipped. Sports and games are not lacking either. We do have an amazing library and Wi-Fi labs.
Faculty: Faculty is pretty average, and the teachers are not too engaging. The courses are very valuable in terms of money and in-depth. For my courses, which range from accounts to macroeconomics and microeconomics. Teachers are very thorough with their content and syllabus.
Other: The societies and events are fun. I would probably like it if my teachers were a bit more engaging, but other than that, everything is very value for money.

It has a bad campus, but good departments.
Placements: I think most people from my course pursue a master's rather than getting a placement. So can't comment on this. But people from other courses do get placed, I think. Our placement cell keeps posting internship opportunities from EY, etc. I do not know placements of other courses.
Infrastructure: The college campus is small. Washroom conditions are abysmal. There is no Wi-Fi on campus as far as I know. The food is nice. The library doesn't let us bring our own books from outside. Microbiology classes happen in labs rather than classrooms. The college has 3,000 students, but it has way more students.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, and some don't know how to teach. Semester exams are quite easy in my opinion, with direct questions and very basic. The course itself is really fun and covers microbiology properly. One of the few good teachers in this department is retiring next year.
Other: The college administration should be less strict, and we have little to no freedom to organise anything. The infrastructure and bathrooms should be improved. Societies are nice. The crowd is very dull for some reason.

Faculty members of Gargi College in the commerce course are very experienced.
Placements: So the placement cell of our college is very active. Top recruiting companies for our course are Deloitte, KPMG, Bank of America, and Zomato. Roles offered are related to audit, consulting, and business development. For internships, roles offered are human resource development and a telecaller.
Infrastructure: Gargi College does not provide hostel facilities, so students prefer to live in PGs or apartments. There are separate departments such as commerce, science, and arts. The quality of food available in the canteen is moderate. Nescafé has some good options.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are very experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality depends on teacher to teacher. Some teach on a board, and some use PPTs. The difficulty level of semester exams for B.Com is high for accounts-related subjects, but moderate for theory exams.
Other: Gargi College conducts an annual fest named Reverie, and it is worth attending.

Super wise faculty, best placements in 2024, vibrant infrastructure, and top-notch facilities.
Placements: Gargi College has a Placement Cell that conducts placement drives and offers various training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance students’ skills and employability. My course offers opportunities in NGOs, research institutions, and political consultancy. The best package in 2024 is 23 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies that participate in Gargi College’s placement drives include EY, GDS, KPMG India, Deloitte India, S&P Global, Accenture, and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Gargi's infrastructure is top-notch. It offers a vibrant and lush green college space. There are a total of 5 blocks. The college has an auditorium, seminar halls, a big library, an affordable canteen, Nescafe, and Mother Dairy offering nutritious diet. The college also has many science labs and computer labs. Medical facilities are present. The sports activities and extracurriculars are extremely active.
Faculty: The course offers wise faculty with years of experience. They carry a senior legacy, offering warmth, passion, and wisdom to the students. Their backgrounds include research work, higher studies, and working under esteemed personalities. They create a supportive and familial bond with their students. The course curriculum is largely relevant, providing research training, skill development, and knowledge building about governance, international relations, and public policy.
Other: The best things about my course are research training, skills development, a comprehensive syllabus, and continuous assessment enriching personality development. Along with academics, the college has around 20 societies that offer wide opportunities ranging from literary to performing arts. Different departments, societies, and the college as a whole keep conducting events, so every day at Gargi is vibrant and full of enthusiasm. One thing I would like to improve is toning down the academic pressure because the numerous assessments and academic deadlines at the same time become challenging for the students.

Decent infrastructure, average teachers, average placements, limited exposure, and average fests.
Placements: Around 8% to 12% of students from the Economics Honours course got placed, with top recruiters including EY, Studio Mosaic, KPMG, Qual4 Infotech, and Accentuate. While specific salary figures for the highest, lowest, and average packages are not available. These companies offered roles such as system and application services associate and positions in risk advisory, among others. The percentage of students securing internships is comparatively lower, with opportunities provided by organizations like Younity in Suvidha Foundation, and Uttejna Foundation.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but limited to a few areas. Classrooms are decent but lack AC and coolers, making summers comfortable. The library is large and well-equipped. There is no hostel facility. Canteen food is not satisfactory, but medical facilities are good. Sports and games facilities are decent.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but their teaching methods are not very effective. They often assume that students already understand the basics and do not focus on clearing fundamental concepts. While some teachers are decent, overall attention to students is lacking. The course curriculum sometimes feels irrelevant as it is largely theoretical and numerical, with little practical exposure. Semester exams are quite difficult. The pass percentage is around 30-40%.
Other: I chose this course because I heard it offers good future prospects and a wide career scope. The best part is that it sometimes helps in understanding how economics functions. Events are well-organized, but fests are just average. Campus crowd is decent. Scholarships are a bit difficult to get. There are plenty of extracurricular activities happening regularly.
