It is the best college I have ever joined.

Placements: I joined GITAM in 2024 (BBA). In my course, 70 percent of the total students applied for placements, and out of that, 40 percent of students got placements. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Deloitte, etc. 70 percent of students got internships. Top roles offered in the course are the head of the student life and the student council committee.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the college are very good. The infrastructure is very good. We have a Wi-Fi facility everywhere in the college. Every block has a library, and we have one library block to study. The hostel rooms are very good. The food in the mess is nice. Medical facilities are provided whenever needed. Regularly, sports meets are also conducted.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good and helpful. They are well-qualified and have a good knowledge of the course. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult if we study on time, listen during class, and complete our work. The pass percentage is around 75 percent.

The college has various events going on during the year, and it also has two big fests every year. The campus crowd is also good, you will see many people around you during break. There are many extracurricular activities held in college by different SIGs (sports in GITAM) and clubs.

My personal review of GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Last year, batch 2020, my seniors got placed in different companies with good placement packages. Around 70% of the total students applied, and 60% of them got placed. The highest package was 7 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Deloitte, among others. Around 70% of the total students got internships in various companies. We got various roles in our course, such as joining the student council and becoming the president of the committee that looked after all the students' grievances.

Infrastructure: All facilities provided in the course/department were very good and helpful. We got hi-fi technology in the classrooms with digitalized teaching. The environment was very clean and hygienic, including the canteen and washrooms. Even the hostel facilities were very good and hygienic. We got good food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities were quick and efficient, and regular sports meets were conducted for various sports. Wi-Fi was available throughout the college.

Faculty: Teachers in the college were very helpful, knowledgeable, and taught very well. Faculty members were also very kind-hearted. The course curriculum was relevant, as it made students industry-ready and provided very good knowledge of how to work in the real world. The semester exams were hard if you did not focus, but easy if you understood the concepts.

Very good college with great overall campus life.

Placements: Quite decent placements we have. But now many companies are not coming to our college. The highest package on paper is 60 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA, and medium is 5 LPA. Asian Paints, Qualcomm, Amazon, and Flipkart are top recruiters for our college. I don't have much of an idea about the roles.

Infrastructure: We do have good facilities and infrastructure in our college, like everywhere you go, we have separate Wi-Fi for each floor in each block, spacious classrooms with digital projectors for interaction with students, and a big library, and we do have active clubs, activities, and interactive sessions with professionals and experts.

Faculty: We do have experienced faculty who have a minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching. They do interact with students in the class. Expect few to teach just the subject in the curriculum when it comes to our curriculum. Exams are not too tough, the papers are prepared by our separate branch faculty, and they are very moderate to hard.
