The Consortium of NLUs will publish the CLAT 2027 Admit Card around 15 days before the exam.The CLAT Exam Dates and hall ticket download schedule will be announced in the official notification in June 2026. Candidates can get the CLAT Admit Card 2027 by visiting consortiumofnlus.ac.in once published. Aspirants must cross-check all the details mentioned in the admit card and in case of any discrepancy, they must contact the helpdesk. How to Download CLAT Admit Card 2027?

Candidates can download the CLAT Admit Card 2027 through the steps given below

  • Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in
  • Click on CLAT admit card download tab displayed on screen
  • You will be redirected to the login window.
  • Enter registration/application number and date of birth.
  • CLAT 2027 admit card will appear on screen.
  • Read all the details printed on it carefully.
  • Take a printout of the CLAT admit card  

Note: No candidate will be allowed to appear in CLAT exam without hall ticket.

Q:   Will CLAT Admit Card 2027 issued by post?
A: 

Candidates must note that the CLAT 2027 Admit Card will not be sent by post. In order to get the CLAT Hall Ticket, students must visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Download your admit card. Do check the hall ticket for discrepancies. In case there is any error, reach out to the CLAT helpdesk.

Q:   What is CLAT Exam Timing?
A: 

The Consortium of NLUs conducts the CLAT Exam from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is held only in one slot. There are no shifts in CLAT Exam. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode. 

Q:   In case I forget to carry CLAT Admit Card to exam centre, will I be allowed entry?
A: 

Candidates who forget to carry the CLAT admit card to the exam centre are not allowed to appear. The hall ticket is a proof that the aspirant had registered for the exam.

Q:   How to make changes in CLAT Admit Card?
A: 

There is no option to make changes in the CLAT admit card. Details printed on the candidate's hall ticket will be final and non-editable. Incase, there is any error in the details mentioned on the CLAT admit card, like name or roll number of the candidate., etc. then that can be rectified by contacting the CLAT help desk.

Q:   What is the CLAT exam duration?
A: 

The CLAT exam duration is two hours for both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate. It will have 120 multiple choice questions. For each correct answer one makrs will be given and -0.25 will be deducted for incorrect ones.

Q:   Who conducts the CLAT Exam?
A: 

The CLAT Exam is conducted by consortiumofnlus.ac.in. All those candidates who are looking forward to getting admission at NLUs must appear for the exam. Apart from NLU Delhi, admission to all the NLUs are done through CLAT.

Documents to Carry with CLAT Admit Card

Candidates must carry these documents along with the admit card to the CLAT Exam Centre

  • Passport-sized photograph (same as the one uploaded with the application form)
  • A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter ID)
  • PwD certificate, if applicable
  • Scribe related documents, if applicable

Q:   Can the exam centre be changed after the release of CLAT admit card?
A: 

Once the CLAT admit card is released, candidates cannot change their allotted exam centre. There is no provision for altering the test centre at any stage, making it crucial to carefully select test cities when filling out the CLAT application form. It is advisable to choose a city that is either your hometown, a city you are likely to be in on the exam day, or a nearby city where you can reach easily. 

Q:   What are the dos and don'ts for CLAT exam day?
A: 
 On CLAT exam day, candidates have to follow a number of guidelines like cooperating with the exam centre staff during identification process, etc.:

CLAT exam day dos:

  1. Reach examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CLAT admit card.
  2. Carry two copies of the CLAT admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos
  3. PwD candidates should carry relevant certificates and documents. 
  4. Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet 

CLAT exam day don'ts:

  1. Do not carry items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices.
  2. Don't wear closed shoes, jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms. Socks are allowed inside it.
  3. Don't wear caps, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets 
  4. Don't be late for exam. Entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam. 
Q:   What is the duration of CLAT PG exam?
A: 

The CLAT PG Exam will be held for duration of two hours; i.e. from 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates have to answer 120 questions in the given time frame. The scores of CLAT LLM 2027 score will be accepted by 19 NLUs in the country.

CLAT Exam Day Guidelines 2027

Candidates are advised to read all the exam day instructions carefully to ensure a hassle-free process on the exam day. Check out some important CLAT 2027 exam day guidelines below

  • Take a coloured printout of the CLAT admit card 2027
  • Report at the test center at least one hour before the exam 
  • The entry to the exam centre will begin at 11.00 am and the last entry into the examination hall will be at 1.30 pm.
  • No candidate is allowed to carry any study material. If any study material is found with anyone, the Consortium holds the right to immediately disqualify them.

  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or other electronic equipment

  • No candidate is allowed to leave the CLAT Examination Hall before the completion of the exam.

Q:   Who releases the CLAT Syllabus?
A: 

The CLAT Syllabus is published by the Consortium. The syllabus has been announced. Candidates who are preparing for the exam must note that there are no changes made in the syllabus so far.  Candidates can check the syllabus by visiting the official website. You can only download the PDF from website.

Q:   Will I receive CLAT Scorecard through post?
A: 

No, the CLAT Scorecard will not be sent by post. The only way to get the scorecard is to download it online. Candidates can visit CLAT portal; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Enter their login ID and password. The CLAT Result will appear on their screen. 

Q:   Who conducts the CLAT Exam?
A:

No, there is no such provision given by the Consortium to fill out the application form offline. Candidates must complete filling the CLAT Application Form 2027 on or before the last date. You can only fill out the application form online. The form will be considered submitted only if you pay the fees.

No, CLAT is not compulsory to take admission in Ishaan Institute of Law. The institute offers admission into the courses such as LLB, BA LLB and LLM based on the merit achieved by the candidates in their last qualifying exam. Application process is compulsory and it can be conducted online/offline.

Many students feel the AILET exam is a bit tougher than CLAT because it has fewer seats and high competition. The AILET syllabus focuses more on reasoning and legal aptitude. Both tests need good preparation, but AILET 2027 usually has a higher cutoff for AILET colleges under NLU Delhi.
