CLAT admit card 2024 - The consortium of NLUs released the CLAT 2024 Admit Card on November 21, 2023. The CLAT admit card 2024 release date was announced in an official notification. Candidates could download the CLAT 2024 admit card from the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in until December 3, 2023 up to 1.30 pm. To download the CLAT 2024 admit card, candidates have to enter their registration number/ application number and date of birth. The CLAT 2024 exam date for UG and PG is on the samei.e. December 3, 2023. CLAT PG Admit Card 2024 was released along with CLAT UG.

Candidates cannot appear for CLAT 2024 exam without a valid admit card. CLAT 2024 admit card included details like exam date, time and allotted center location. Candidates could download CLAT 2024 admit card after cross-checking all these details carefully, and in case of any discrepancy, they could contact the exam helpdesk.

CLAT 2024 admit card is useful for two events i.e. at the time of the exam, and at the time of CLAT counselling. Therefore, once downloaded, candidates must retain the admit card with them till the CLAT admission process is over or they secure a seat in a college of their choice. The admit card for CLAT PG and UG will be issued at the same time.

How to Download CLAT Admit Card 2024?

Candidates can download the admit card for CLAT 2024 in the following ways:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the exam - https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: Enter registered mobile number and password in the space provided. 

Step 3: Click on the Login button.

Step 4: Click on the Download Admit Card link given at the top right of the screen. 

Step 5: Download and save the admit card PDF on your device.

Step 6: Take at least three printouts of the admit card on an A4 sheet for future references.

OR

Step 1: Log on to the admit card portal of the CLAT Consortium - consortiumofnlus.ac.in

Step 2: Enter registration/application number and date of birth.

Step 3: Click on the Download Admit Card button.

Step 4: Download, save and print the admit card PDF.

Important instructions on CLAT Hall Ticket 2024

Some of the important instructions mentioned on the CLAT 2024 Admit Card for the CLAT Exam are as follows:

  • Candidates could enter the CLAT 2024 Test Centre premises from 01:00 pm onwards. They should be seated at their respective seats in the CLAT Exam Hall/Classroom by 1:30 pm.
  • Once students entered the hall/classroom, they were not allowed to leave before 4:00 pm.
  • Candidates were not allowed to enter the CLAT Test Centre 2024 after 2:15 pm
  • CLAT 2024 examination started at 2:00 pm
  • Candidates should not forget to carry their CLAT admit card 2024. In case, the photograph of the candidate is not clear on the admit card, they need to bring a self-attested copy.
  • Along with CLAT 2024 Hall Ticket, candidates should also carry a Government photo ID proof such as Aadhaar
  • In case discrepancy in the QB, students should request the invigilator to replace it
  • If candidates mark more than one circle or any other stray mark in the OMR sheet, the response will be counted as a double answer and a wrong answer.

How to retrieve password, if forgotten?

In case, candidates forget the password required to login into their registered accounts, they can follow the below-mentioned steps to recover the same:

Step 1: On the login window for CLAT Admit Card, click on the 'Forgot Password' button at the bottom. 

Step 2: It will redirect to a new page, where candidates need to enter their registered mobile number.  

Step 3: Click on the 'Request OTP' button to get the OTP on the registered mobile number.

Step 4: A pop-up will appear – Click on the 'OK' button.

Step 5: Enter the mobile number, OTP (received on the mobile) and the new password.

Step 6: Click on the 'Reset' Password button.

Step 7: A new password will be successfully generated.

Thereafter, candidates can log in to their registered accounts using their mobile number and new password to download their CLAT hall ticket.

The admit card of CLAT exam mentioned details such as - name, candidate DOB, test centre name, location, as well as test date and timings.

Once candidates downloaded their admit card, they were asked to check all the information mentioned on the document carefully. The information given on the admit card should match with the one provided by candidates on the CLAT application form. The admit card for CLAT carried relevant details related to candidates and the exam such as:

Steps to resolve discrepancies in CLAT Admit Card 2024

At times, it is observed that the information given in the CLAT admit card does not match the one provided by the candidate in the application form. It is sometimes also observed that there is a spelling mistake in the admit card. In case, a candidate comes across any such discrepancy or incorrect information in his/her CLAT admit card/hall ticket, s/he must contact the exam helpdesk immediately to get it rectified.

Things to Carry to CLAT Exam Centre 2024

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the CLAT centre:

  • CLAT admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card. 
  • Photo: Candidates should carry an attested passport size photograph (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
  • Stationary: Since the CLAT 2024 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre
  • Disability certificate: The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category
  • Other items such as an analogue watch, transparent water bottle, face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are also to be carried to the test centre.

Things that candidates must not carry inside the allotted test centre on the day of the exam include:

  • Any study material or books
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches and tablets
  • Valuable items such as wallets

CLAT Exam Day Guidelines 2024

The CLAT 2024 admit card had all the important guidelines that candidates need to follow on the day of the exam. Candidates were advised to read all the exam day instructions carefully to ensure a hassle-free process on the day of the CLAT exam. Check out some important CLAT 2024 exam day guidelines below:

CLAT Hall Ticket and other important CLAT Documents: Candidates must not forget to carry their valid ID card and the admit card to the CLAT Exam center. In case you fail to present any of these two you will not be allowed entry to the examination hall.

Reporting time: Candidates should report at the test center at least one hour before the exam 

Late Entry Restriction: No candidate will be allowed to enter the CLAT test center 15 minutes after the test has commenced

Study Material/ Books: No candidate is allowed to carry any study material. If any study material is found with anyone, the Consortium holds the right to immediately disqualify them.

Electronic Devices: Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or other electronic equipment

No Early Departure: No candidate is allowed to leave the CLAT Examination Hall before the completion of the exam.

Candidates must note that the Consortium released the exam day guidelines for CLAT and also the bell timing to help the aspirants keep a tab on time.The bell timings followed in the CLAT exam 2024 have been mentioned below:
