Good infrastructure and decent placements with supportive faculty members.

Placements: Around 60% of IT students got placed through campus and pool drives. The highest package offered is 13 LPA. The average salary is 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA and the lowest salary is around 2 LPA. Major recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, HCL Technologies, and local IT firms. The placement cell is active and provides good support to students in terms of training and interview preparation. Most students also got internship opportunities during the pre-final year, which helped in gaining industry exposure and boosting confidence for final placements.

Infrastructure: IT department has well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a digital library. Hostels are decent with 24X7 water, electricity, and security. Mess food is average but hygienic. Medical aid is available, and sports facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many use practical approaches in teaching. The curriculum is mostly relevant and covers industry-required topics, though some areas need updating. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is around 85%-90%.

Other: I belong to the 2022-2026 batch of B.Tech in information technology. I chose this course because of my interest in coding and emerging technologies like AI and cybersecurity. The best part is the practical exposure through labs, coding events, and internships. However, I wish the curriculum was updated more frequently to keep pace with industry trends. College organizes vibrant technical and cultural fests such as Goel Carnival and TechFest. Campus crowd is diverse and friendly, with good connectivity and peaceful surroundings. Scholarships are available, and extracurricular activities like sports and hackathons support overall development.

College life is very good.

Placements: My college has best placement. Many companies are coming in my college, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, Cloud Analogy, Google, Microsoft, Tata Group and many other companies. The average package of my college is 3.4 lakh per annum. And the highest package is about crores.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are at top level. The infrastructure of my college is like a foreign college. My college is placed at very peaceful location. The facilities given in my college are very good like Wi-Fi, computer labs, library, classrooms, etc.

Faculty: In my college, teachers are very helpful, they work hard for the bright future of the students. And they try to teach in a very simple way. The teachers of my college are well qualified and knowledgeable. The exams course is limited and taught before the exam.

Other: I choose B.Tech because I want to become a software engineer. The best thing is that the future coming is fully dependent on AI, so I choose B.Tech in Information Technology.

Review of Goel Group of Institutions.

Placements: The average placement percentage is approximately 40%. The placement cell is available, but students do not respond well, so the placement percentage is low. TCS, HCL, Tata and IBM are the top recruiting companies for our college. BYJU's also selected students from MBA.

Infrastructure: There is a big cricket ground and a basketball ground. A library and 2 computer labs are available. The hostel is good, and there is also a canteen. The food quality is average in the hostel. Rooms are quite decent and clean. Single and double-sharing rooms are available.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and well educated. They are good and provide quality education. There are a minimum of 3 subjects in first-year information technology. Approximately 40% of the syllabus is covered before sessional exams. Attendance of 75% is mandatory.

It is a great place to study.

Placements: In this course, the highest salary offered is 1 lac per month, whereas the average salary offered is around Rs. 60,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is around Rs. 27,000 per month. But limited companies visit our college for placements, which is a bit disappointing.

Infrastructure: In our college, there are many good classrooms which are very spacious. There is a lab where we are provided with every kind of scientific thing. There is a library, and it consists of all types of books. Our college has provided Wi-Fi for all the students so that they can learn easily.

Faculty: The teachers are very experienced and dedicated to this course. They are very much helpful to their students. They give us the proper guidance regarding current and future courses and make sure that every student properly understands about it. They make us perfect that we won't face any problem further.

Other: I want to suggest our college only one thing that it should invite many companies for placements.

I am not at all happy as there are placements only for few students.

Placements: The course which I am pursuing does not have many placements. Only 25% of the students get placements from this course. You should have a minimum of 83% of marks in your academics to get admission in this course. Students who get 95% of marks and above get placements easily. Most of the time, the rest of all students have to work very hard to get placements.

Infrastructure: The hostel is very well maintained here, and the food served is also very delicious here. Our college also provides a library where you can find a huge number of books. Our college also provides Wi-Fi to all students. The canteen is also good and has a nice variety of food items.

Faculty: This course makes you ready for any industry you join. The teachers here are not much good at teaching as they do not explain the concept in detail. They are not at all good at speaking English, and it seems that they are not interested in explaining also. It is very difficult to study with such teachers.

Other: Our college should focus on providing more placements for students.
