The college crowd and college life are good.

Placements: There are no placements provided by our college for the given course. I had psychology. Hons and did not get any placement opportunities however we did get unpaid internship opportunities. This is the only drawback there is no placement provided for a bachelor. s program.

Infrastructure: The college and hostel infrastructure is really good. Surroundings are beautiful. There is Wi-Fi and AC in psychology labs, reading room, and library however only fans are there in classes. The canteen food is really good. Almost everything is available in the canteen to eat hostel food. I don't know much since I was a localite no hostel was needed.

Faculty: Teachers are quite qualified and knowledgeable. They gave us practical and real-life examples. The course is relevant I'm not sure if it makes us industry-ready since there were no visits only workshop sessions are there. Semester exams are quite average and one can easily pass if they are average in studying.

Other: I gained interest in psychology when I was in 11th standard so wanted to pursue it. I feel there should be more industry visits and placements should be given if not placements at least internships should be provided.

Good college for a non-attendee.

Placements: Good placements are provided at my college. Approximately 5 out of 10 students are placed on campus every year. The packages provided are pretty decent from 5 LPA to 10 LPA, it is decent college for graduation purpose.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is fine. There are no ACs in classrooms. There is Wi-Fi in the college. Three canteens are available along with two libraries, one of them is a study room. Proper laboratory and computer labs are available. Sports facilities are not good in the college, no proper ground is available but competitions are held frequently.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful but some teachers are young which helps in building a good connection between students and teachers. The teaching quality is pretty decent and teachers are knowledgeable. This course I won't say is enough you need to pursue a postgraduate degree to get a decent entry into the job world. Semester exams are easy and pass percentage is good too.

All About SD College Chandigarh.

Placements: Many students got placements with a good amount of package. Many were placed in hospitals, medical companies, etc. Many were hired as psychologists, counselors. Many big companies were there to recruit with a minimum package of 6 Lacs per annum to a very big amount.

Infrastructure: The department has good Wi-Fi facility, labs are clean and up-to-date, things are kept there with AC and projector in each lab. Classrooms are neat and clean with top-quality whiteboards. The library is very up-to-date and big. Hostel/canteen is very clean, and food is prepared hygienically with good products. A medical room is available with good facilities. The sports ground is taken care of, and many games are there.

Faculty: Teachers are very sweet, humble, and helpful to each and every student, with very high qualification and knowledge. Their way of teaching is very good and professional. Yes, this course is very curriculum relevant. It does make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult as everything is taught by the teachers. Pass percentage is very high.

Other: Psychology is a very growing and interesting field. Events and fests are very frequent in college, campus crowd is good, and connectivity among students is very good. Many clubs and groups are there to join.

A LITTLE WORTH THE HYPE.

Placements: Placements are provided, but they depend on your skills, knowledge, qualifications, and grades. Big firms do come to the college to offer internships and on-campus recruitment. However, the course is new, so we cannot expect many placements for this particular course.

Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi and three canteens: one open canteen, one shed canteen, and one in the PML Business School. The classrooms are large but do not have AC. The hostel food is very nice and provided on time. The college infrastructure is good but very small.

Faculty: The faculty is good. The teachers are qualified and experienced in their fields. They are knowledgeable and helpful. There are mid-semester exams that are meant to be very hard to score, and then there are the end-semester exams, which are conducted by the university.

Good college, good crowd!

Placements: There is no guaranteed placement. The placement percentage is about 20-30%. There is also a placement cell available for the students where they can seek help. The average salary packages are 5 LPA. In my department, students usually go for higher studies.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available. The library is good enough with a decent range of books. There is also a reading hall. Labs are good too, mainly the psychology lab, botany lab, chemistry lab, computer lab. The fashion department is great too and is well-equipped. The food available in the hostel is of great quality, and the menu changes monthly.

Faculty: The teachers are definitely qualified, and most of them are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and teachers use both practical and theory methods to teach students, which is great. The level of difficulty of semester exams isn't too much. The pass percentage is 35%. Also, 75% of attendance is required.

Other: Fests and events take place pretty much regularly, like 1-3 per month. The campus crowd is great and friendly too.
