It is one of the best colleges of Panjab University, but I am not completely satisfied with college.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges of Panjab University for commerce because of placements. Top companies like E&Y, Deloitte and PWC visit our college and recruit students. More than 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered last year for B.Com students was 8-9 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and there is a separate block for the digital library. Quality of food is good, and there is a Nescafe on the college campus. Labs of our college are best in Chandigarh colleges. Parking facilities are good, and hostel facilities are also available in college. Even fruits are also offered to students.

Faculty: Almost teachers here have a PhD degree, and some are pursuing it. Teachers are good, qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and even our college also offered an industry visit to students. The course of commerce is relevant to the balance of theory and practical subjects.

Other: I have chosen M.Com because I want to do UGC NET in commerce. M.Com is all about theory, but I wish it would be better if there is a balance between theory and practical subjects as practical subjects are scoring. There are opportunities for extracurricular activities.

The teaching pattern makes you ready for the real corporate word

Placements: The placement cell is well managed. Well reputed companies come for placements. The placement cell head is very helpful and encouraging. Companies like Ernest and Young, Deloitte, E Clerx, Finavasia, Concentrix are the major companies visiting the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus and hostel is amazing. All the buildings are well maintained and fully equipped with the required and latest facilities. Classrooms have been renovated recently to keep up with the changing times. Labs are all equipped with the latest techniques.

Faculty: The teachers are well versed with their curriculum. Apart from the course syllabi all the teachers help you with real life situations and help to develop life skills. They definitely provide you with an insight about the nuances of the real world. The course syllabi and teaching patterns make you ready.

Satisfied with faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement of the college is not there. Every year 2-3 companies visit the college and they pick very less students. The package offered is also very less 2-2.5L. Moreover there is a bond for 2years. In short there are no placements of the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The campus has a well organised library, a good canteen and reading rooms. It also has common room. The fees and attendance being online is very helpful students as well teachers. But all the classes do not have smart classes to facilitate digital teaching.

Faculty: The faculty is excellent. The teachers are very intelligent and cooperative. They are ever ready to help the students. They have indepth knowledge of their subjects. Most of the teachers of sd are PhD's. They are friendly. On a whole there is no doubt on the faculty.

Other: There takes place various events like workshops and MUN. The crowd is fabulous. Fests are organised annually.

The absolute best college.

Placements: The placements are average. The head of the placement cell is very good, but the students lack in enthusiasm due to which a lot of companies refuse to visit the campus. A few top companies come but majorly only BPO companies come to the campus with very meagre pay scales.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Very modern and up to date as per today's requirement. The classrooms and labs are well-equipped with the latest equipments and teaching aids. We also have smart classrooms to help support digital learning. Proper provision is there for extra co curriculars.

Faculty: The teaching staff is very competent and knowledgeable. All the teachers are well versed with their subjects and curriculum except for a few teachers who make absolutely no effort to promote learning. Overall the teachers are very good. The college lives up to its brand name of being the best college.

My review about this college.

Placements: It's very good. The placement opportunities were excellent. The placement cell of college offered opportunities to secure jobs in multinational companies offering quite reasonable packages to the students. Many big companies visited our college like Amazon, Eclerx, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. About 80% of us got placed. I completed my 6 months internship program in Max Life Insurance Company, Modinagar. Many companies took place in internship program, and we got Rs 6000 as a stipend. College recorded the average salary package as 4 LPA. The highest package offered was 25 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were really nice. It provided 24X7 electricity and water facilities. Other requirements were also available. Library and computer lab facility were provided inside the hostel. It maintained high standards in food and hygiene. The hostel rooms were big and spacious rooms were cleaned. Every day, students had to share the washrooms.

Faculty: Faculty members were helpful, and most of the teachers were highly qualified. The faculty intelligence was high, and students were advantaged by that. All were experts in their subject. Qualitative studies were promoted in a holistic approach that was applied in the development of the students. Theoretical and practical knowledge was imparted. The exam structure in semester system, the exams were divided into 4 parts for the year 2 internal examinations, and 2 external semester exams. Internals were just for college purposes and were called mid-semester exams and two university exams for university purposes. They were counted for a real result. Course was good in all aspects as it considers all subjects in detail like general accounting, basic economics, international economics, cost accounting, corporate law, foreign trade, etc. There were also optional subjects for HR, advertising, marketing, etc. All over the course curriculum was much better and knowledge in the fields.
