The highest package offered in the recent placements is not out yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 has revealed the 2022 median package details. The highest median package for the 2022 passing out batch was INR 8 LPA and was offered to LLM students. The following table presents the LLB and LLM salary package for the Department of Law Panjab University placements 2022:

 For a few courses, such as MA, BA, MLib, etc., admissions are completely based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Students must go through the Panjab University CHD-conducted/ national-level entrances and then appear for the university-level selection rounds for final admission at Panjab University.

Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre offers UG, PG and Diploma across Engineering, Computer Applicatio and Law. At the UG level, the institute offers BA LLB, LLB and BTech programmes. At the PG level, the institute offers MCA and LLM courses to the students.

The highest package offered to the Engineering batch 2025 was INR 24 LPA. On the other hand, the highest salary offered to the MBA students during Punjab University placements 2025 was also INR 24 LPA.  

As per the NIRF report, 330 Undergraduate and 1 postgraduate students were placed during the Department of Law Panjab University placements. The median package offered to LLB and Undergraduate (5-year) students stood at INR 2.3 LPA and INR 50,000 per annum. For LLM course, the median package offered during Department of Law at Panjab University placements 2022 was INR 8 LPA.

Panjab University Chandigarh admission process is based on the entrance examination and merit. Panjab University Chandigarh is currently open for admission. After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced
