Enjoyable and the best 4 years of my life.
Placements: About 20 to 25 % of our students were placed in companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Approximately 90% of students got internships from prestigious companies like ADANI, L&T, etc. And different government departments. Respectable packages were offered to the students.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Good quality food in the hostel mess. And different shops and canteen are also present. Instant medical attention (hospital within 5 km). Large field for sports and games like cricket, football, volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, cooperative, knowledgeable, helpful. Good quality teaching experience. The curriculum is very exciting. Different labs and equipment are also available. Enjoyable experience for students. Yearly fests and contests will fire up the spirits of students.

The college has a really good infrastructure and experienced faculty members.
Placements: Placements in our college were quite nice. Computer science, mechanical and electrical streams had a lot of placement options. Many government and private companies had come for providing placements to the students. Many companies visit the campus to provide placements to students of different branches every year.
Infrastructure: Our college has a well-built infrastructure. The classrooms, labs and workshops are well-furnished. The Wi-Fi facility is also the best inside the college campus. There is a cafeteria inside the college premises which offers tasty and well-sanitised food. The whole environment is very good which ensures the well-being of students and also make them enthusiastic on the campus. Medical facilities are also good, and sports and games are played often inside the college campus. Many tournaments and other co-curricular activities are organised.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and create a good impact on the student. They create a friendly environment which can nurture the well-being and character of a student. They help in organising many co-curricular activities and get indulged in the activities of students. They help a student in any way possible.

Good faculty, decent infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are not that good on campus, however being a government. College we do get invited to attend off campus drives in various other colleges like every year Wipro conducts its campus recruitment for 3 government colleges together, during our placements it was conducted in Parala Maharaj Berhampur. The packaged offered wad 3.2 LPA for project engineer position. We had another software solutions company Sun core on campus for recruitment. Students got offers from other companies through off campus drives too.
Infrastructure: The buildings are new and work is still going on in some parts. The classrooms are good and spacious. The library is decent and is fully air conditioned. Apart from that we also have two cpmputer labs. The workshop buildings are in a separate corner of the campus and have all the latest equipments. Overall the infra is good and modern and being in a less crowded area is quite soothing with the amazing mountain views.
Faculty: The course is assigned by BPUT and according to my knowledge has beeb formated after we passed out. The topic are diverse and although hectic is kind of useful. The faculty are actually a great source of knowledge. They are really patient and give us ample scope to improve our performance. Seminars are conducted from time and again and this also helps improve student teacher interaction.
Other: We have events going on all year through, like we have the annual techfest Insprano and the cultural fest Anugoonj.

GCEK is very good as compared to 2014 all facility available.
Placements: Many students from 2016 and 2017 batch are placed in different MNCs like Wipro, IBM, Tech Mahindra, CGI, I2S Solutions. Maximum students got placement are from computer science batch only. The core placement is nill. There were no on-campus placements in government college of the engineer, Kalahandi till date.
Infrastructure: Here infrastructure is poor as compared to any other government colleges. The food quality is average, hostel rooms are good. Surrounding environment is silent and good for studying. The classrooms are good. All labs are equipped with good equipment. Infrastructure construction is going on.
Faculty: 4-year B.Tech courses offered with specialisation Electrical, Mechanical, Civil & computer science. Well-educated faculty members from NIT, IIT IIIT & government colleges are teaching here. Many national and state conferences are held. Many students from robotics group awarded prizes.
