Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty, college and the infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 60 percent of the students were placed after the 1st round only. The students got an average package of 7 LPA. Companies like L&T, Adani, Tata, Mahindra etc. are always open for placements from our college. As the college is a government college, the tag itself makes an impact on the companies.
Infrastructure: College is completely new and is still under development. Complete campus is yet to be constructed, the college lacks proper facilities and has the worst management. Hostel life is good but the hostel mess is yet to be managed properly and most of the work is done by the students themselves.
Faculty: Teachers aren't understanding or helpful. They are qualified according to their degrees on paper but actually lack the ability to teach. I would rate their teaching quality 2 out of 10. The course curriculum is set by RTMNU which itself is one of the worst universities. Semester exams are easy but exams checking by RTMNU is never done properly.

College has satisfactory facilities for the students.
Placements: College was offering good placement opportunities to the students. Around 50% of students were successfully placed in our college. The highest package offered was 15 LPA. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA. Average package offered was between 3-8 LPA. Around 75% of students get internships at our college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the mechanical engineering course was good at our college. College offers all the necessary facilities to its students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, hostel, canteen, etc. were given at our college to their students. Hostels of the college were having furnished rooms and were neat and clean.
Faculty: All the teachers of our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable for the mechanical engineering course. Professors were properly guiding us. Course curriculum of the college was relevant. It makes the students industry ready. Semester exams in our college were not very hard or not very easy to pass.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Nagpur.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Persistent, Byju's, Adani, etc. The highest salary package offered was 45 LPA by Sony.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Faculty members are permanent in this college. Few teachers are temporary. Courses offered are electrical, electronics, civil, mechanical, and computer science. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 90%. This college is affiliated with Nagpur University.
Other: Our college should improve its infrastructure and faculty members. Our campus is small. Our college was established in the year 2016. It needs to improve infrastructure and provide more facilities. There are few seats for hostel admission as there are criteria for caste reservation and results.

Infrastructure will be cured.
Placements: Placement policies are above average, but as our college is very new, this is the third batch that will complete graduation. Placement policies are good. Many companies like Wipro, FirstNaukri, Unschool, Flipkart, etc., are hiring interns from our college.
Infrastructure: I was a hostel student. The hostel is very clean as they clean it every day. The hostel has 6 floors, and each floor has a water cooler, bathrooms, and washrooms. The mess is also quite good. Our college has had two buildings till now, and they are constructing a new one. Labs, classrooms, and the library are good. Every function is celebrated in our college.
Faculty: Teaching staff members are very good. The curriculum is also interesting, and semester exams are like mind sharpening and exercising. You can pass the exam by taking the help of the previous year's question paper. Exam centers are also near, and you don't have to go far away for exams.

More practical experience and industry exposure should given to students.
Placements: Since the college is new there are fewer placements. The placement head and the placement team works really hard to place the students in reputed companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that good but there is lots of fun. Wi-Fi is available for limited data. Labs are available but instruments are not available. The library is good it is for a limited time. , it should be open for 24 hours. Quality of food is so bad, Canteen is not also good. Mostly student goes outside for a snack, tea etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified. They are always ready to solve the queries of students. Teaching quality is not that much good.
Other: I have chosen mechanical engineering because manufacturing is my interest. Practical knowledge should be improved. More practical experience should given to students. Lots of Fun, Knowledge, Coordination is best.

Many extra curricular activities are conducted in the college for enhancing students' skills.
Placements: About 40% of students got selected in various companies. The highest package offered is up to 9 LPA, the package varies within 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, Capgemini, etc. Many courses were offered during our academic session.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities for our course are above average. The quality is quite good. There is nothing to point out. The support of the librarian in the library, other incharges in mess, hostel staff is very understanding.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful during the academic session. These teachers were qualified and knowledgeable. The students referring to the courses are prepared better enough to be ready for industries. The teaching quality of teachers was good enough.
Other: Many extra curricular activities are conducted in the college which are organized by either teachers or students for the betterment of their skills.

Placements in CS branch are more as compared to core branches. Infrastructure is not that good.
Placements: The top recruiting company of our college is TCS Ninja. The salary package offered is above 7 LPA. Various IT jobs are also offered in companies like Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Some non-technical like Toppr.Com and Byju's also visit here. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. In the mechanical branch, 20% of the students are placed in some IT and non-technical companies.
Infrastructure: Quality of food is quite good, but medical facilities are average. Its infrastructure is developing, so there are no proper sports facilities. All facilities are available in the hostel like 24 hours water, Wi-Fi facility, library, common room for discussion and an astronomy club.
Faculty: Quality of teaching is good. Teachers in government college are well-qualified, so we are getting proper guidance and support. Teachers are very supportive and helpful. This course is relevant if we are taking an interest in it. If students have an interest, then they are ready for industrial purpose.
Other: I have chosen this college because in a government college, amount of fees is less, and there will be surety of placements.

I am satisfied with faculty members, good placement record, but I am not satisfied with the campus.
Placements: GCOEN is a leading institute from RTMNU University in Maharashtra. There are 6 courses available here for students to perceive their bachelor degree in engineering. Placement activities are available, and many students get placed in well-reputed companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well with small campus around, and it is very beautiful. There are two separate buildings for different branches, and all facilities are provided for each of the department. There is the availability of both girls and boys hostel. Mess facility is also available for all the students of the hostel at reasonable rates. Total of 159 students stays at the hostel. Quality of food is good enough, and students enjoy it. The mess is good enough with all the required facilities.
Faculty: All the teaching staff members are well-qualified, very friendly and helpful towards students. In any good or bad situation, they are always with us. Whenever someone needs help in any form, teachers guide them in the right way and finds a solution to a problem.
