The best faculty members .
Placements: Our placements are yet to be started, but in 2024, for mechanical engineering, the highest package was 10 LPA. Currently, the placement is quite low due to the recession. But I hope it'll be good after that, as heard by the passed-out graduates of this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite old for the core branches. But for new branches, including CSE the infrastructure is top class and excellent. The hostel is very basic. I recommend not to take hostel, take any other PG or flat outside the college nearby.
Faculty: Fabulous faculty members! They treat you as one of their friends. They are very knowledgeable; every teacher has one or more PhD's in their respective fields. And has a very good experience in teaching. The curriculum has a good balance of theory and practice.
Other: There is an annual festival known as "Pratishruti," which is not so good. But there are many other events occurring throughout the year that are quite engaging and entertaining. Every department also has its own annual events. There are many clubs for students to showcase their talents. Overall, there is a very good campus life.

Ramdeobaba College of Engineering Review.
Placements: Above 87% percentile in MHT CET were accepted in my batch. The highest package this year was 8.3lakhs per annum and the lowest was 2.4 Lacs per annum. The top companies in mechanical which come for recruiting are Essentier and TCS. About 80% of the students got a job. Car designer and motor designer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very average and 95k per year for single rooms. It gives us Wi-Fi but literally, everything is banned on it, and many educational sites are banned too. The mess is not bad - 3.5/5 compared to other colleges. We have TV room, a gym, many sports ground (football, basketball, table tennis, etc. ), and a library.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and will always help you when you need them. They are very well qualified and knowledgeable and very good at teaching,. The course is very helpful for the industry in first year we have a subject called workshop in which they teach us how to use all the machines. The semester exams are very difficult and last 15% percent of the people gets back logs.
Other: I chose the mechanical branch because it is the mother of all branches and you can major in mechanical and then go into computer science, civil engineering, electrical engineering, etc. Although the campus is very friendly with no ragging, bullying, fighting, etc., it could use better equipment and facilities. There are always events happening, which is great fun. You can also receive scholarships.

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management: reviewed by a student.
Placements: 15 out of 75 were placed in core industries and 70% of students who SAT in campus placement were placed in total. The highest package offered was 12 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies in the branch was shapoorji paloonji. In the entire college, Capgemini, Infosys and TCS were mass recruiters. 55% students got internships in the eighth semester in climber, Metlok etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our course is above average. Some instruments of the labs are not in working condition, but all labs under the course are well-equipped with qualified and experienced teachers. There is a LAN cable in every classroom and laboratory. The department has an excellent collection of books in the library. The hostel is a bit of a mess. For girls it is very comfortable, but for boys it can be a bit problematic. The mess food is not always good, but canteen facilities are excellent. We have a Nescafe cafe in the canteen and also an Anna canteen which serves all kinds of Indian food from masala dosa to chhole Bhature. The most famous dish is sambhar vada as it is sufficient to finish off hunger and also very cheap. Canteen facility allows the students to maintain and pay monthly tabs in case they don't have cash at hand.
Faculty: Teachers in department are very helpful knowledgeable and motivating. They continue to inspire us by including us in Industry projects every now and then. The department organizes industrial visit every semester to expose us to the atmosphere and help us understand the concepts in a better way.
Other: The college organizes two main event in the entire year. One is a fresher's party called Aruni and the other is a cultural fest; the biggest in central India called Pratishruti. There are musical guests bands and concerts under this event. They also organise many competitions during the Pratishruti month. We decorate the campus extraordinarily and welcome performance stars. Apart from cultural activities, each department of the college organizes two events under the department student body. One of them is an installation programme where the second year students are introduced to the branch and the other is a technical event where there are guest lectures, seminars and challenging competitions. Apart from this, we organize technovision which is a college level technical event.

I was satisfied with the opportunities provided by our college.
Placements: More than 95% of students from our course were placed. The highest salary package offered was around 5.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Fluor Daniel, Blue Star, Saint Gobain, L&T, Mu Sigma, Raymond, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., are the top recruiters of our course. Various roles were offered like from GET to senior engineer. Our college doesn't offer internships.
Infrastructure: All decent facilities like good classrooms, Wi-Fi, computer centre, library, etc., are available in our college. Hostel rooms were decent ( twin sharing and single sharing rooms are available). The quality of the food served in the mess was good, and basic medical facilities were available as there is a dispensary within the hostel. For sports and games, basketball court and volleyball court are available, but our college lacks a decent football or cricket ground.
Faculty: I would rate the teaching quality of the teachers as very good. Knowledge and qualification of teachers were appreciable. Apart from this, their supportive nature had ensured that we participate in national level competitions like Baja, Supra, etc. The course curriculum is relevant. Faculty members and HOD always encourage suggestions to incorporate new elective subjects if students suggest. I would suggest that to make the students industry-ready, they should focus more on practical knowledge, which would yield more results. For this, I recommend that one semester is allotted only for industrial training as it has been incorporated in other top colleges already.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I want to have an industrial connection when I work. If students want this, they can choose mechanical engineering. Apart from this, the IT industry has been in demand and also will surely in demand in future. So students can opt for that course as well. I suggest that a complete semester should be dedicated to industrial training, which would help. Events, fests and extracurricular activities are well placed in our college, and students get ample opportunities for the same.

Overall experience is good but you have to maintain a balance bet6studies and other activities.
Placements: The placements for our senior batch were fairly good in the core mechanical companies and IT companies. However, this year some of the core and most of the IT mass recruiters had Mechanical banned which reduced the placements. But placements and internship opportunities are available in plenty if you know computer programming languages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi can be described to be between decent to good. Other facilities such as gym, laboratories, sports equipment, ground, etc. Are available. The classrooms are big in size but the facility to compensate the temperature rise due to scorching heat of Nagpur Summers are not available for students. Rest of the labs are good. We even have a BMW Z-Series engine to study, but bottomline is we cannot open it to take a look inside.
Faculty: The course curriculum is quite descriptive and wide. Many subjects give us the right knowledge of basic engineering as well as management, languages, statistics and many other important subjects. The faculty is bery supportive in some cases however very strict regarding attendance. The course needs a little bit of updation in some subjects but overall is a pretty good package of real world applications.
Other: Yearly 2 fests are carried out 1) Aaruni for first years 2) pratishruti for entire college. Organising and participating in the events is equally fun in these events. If you are planning to go to Ramdeobaba, you have to find a balance between studies and actively organising the fests. Other than these two events, the departmental fests are also held yearly. Inter-departmental sports, teachers day, branch cups, etc. Are enthusiastically celebrated.

The college has good faculty members and placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. All our seniors were placed in MNCs, and also they achieved their dream jobs. Especially, the students of core branches like mechanical, civil and electrical engineering have more opportunities to get placed in a core company as per the college placement policy. This college is excellent regarding placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi facility in classrooms, canteen, library, labs and grounds. Overall, we can access a high-speed Wi-Fi from anywhere on the campus without any restrictions. The college has USA certified labs. Labs have all the necessary equipment. Labs have scientific aesthetics, and they are well-designed. Lab assistants are highly educated, and we can perform well in labs with their help. Classrooms are well-designed, they have a good aesthetic and seating arrangement. Classrooms look good and have energetic colours. Classrooms are equipped with good audio system and projectors. The library is certified by National Library, and it has thousands of books. The main features of this library are that books are easily available for all students, and we can even demand books as per our requirements. The college also provides a digital library in which we can access many paid courses absolutely for free. The college has its own small clinic to provide medical facilities to students. Many champions in sports and trainers are available in the college. Trainers are also the champions in their respective sport, so our college won many championships in every competition. The college provided indoor and outdoor games as well so that students can enjoy after the lectures. Overall, it is very good.
Faculty: Teaching staff members are highly educated. The learning principle of the college is such that every student can easily interact with any teacher. Teachers teach the topics until and unless every student understands. They will never rush through the topics, and every topic is covered. They mainly focus on providing practical knowledge. They provide us with practical knowledge which is helpful in industries. The student-faculty ratio is nearly 12:1. We get industry exposure as many of us were placed through placement drives. The course curriculum is useful.
Other: The college and students organise many events, and we can enjoy these events very well. Events like fresher's party, flashmob, and farewell are organised. The college organises a technical fest named Converges. We can make a lot of friends no matter whether they are seniors or juniors. We feel like we are a part of a big friend circle. Extracurricular activities like sports, dancing, singing, riding, trekking, gaming, programme organisation, etc. are organised. We can enjoy every moment.

SRCOEM - One of the Best Engineering College of Central India.
Placements: The 2015 batch had best placements for SRCOEM (formerly SRKNEC) ever. Infosys and Tech Mahindra were our mass recruiters who recruited around 400 people together. Overall placement was around 900 offers making our college the top ranked college in terms of number of offers in Maharashtra. Our high package recruiters were MuSigma (Shared Campus Placement), NVDIA, Yoddle, BristleCone, Flour Daniel etc. While the others included Inautix, Amdocs, Raymonds etc. Average package offered was around Rs 3.3 lacs. The roles offered were mostly of Software Developers.
Infrastructure: Till our time only Mechanical, Industrial and Electrical departments had Wi-Fi. Even to use the college LAN students had a personal login which was restricted to one system at a time. Classrooms could house around 85 students. There was a large green board along with a projector. Library is bi-level with books on ground floor an reading room on first floor. Library has seperate reading area. For Sports we had a common ground in our first year block. We also had a volleyball court and a basketball court. Canteen had decent food but it lacked variety. Hostel rooms were 2 sharing but were cramped.
Faculty: The number of Assistant Professors is greater than the Associate Professors and the Professors which implies that there are many faculty members with relatively less experience ranging from 2-8 years. Yes, most of them are helpful and qualified but a few professors are although have tremendous knowledge are not able to transfer it to students due to lack of proper teaching skills. For teaching, a few faculty members actually used practical demonstrations but rest were more theory oriented. Powerpoint presentations were mostly used by all. College had guest lectures and one day industry visits to give live exposure.
Other: Ours was the first full Autonomous batch and hence we had revised syllabus. We also had an option to choose elective in 6th semester from other department. The events were good with thousands of people turning up for our national fests like Pratishruti and Technovision.

The placements and infrastructure of our college are good.
Placements: Our college became autonomous in the year 2011. We were the first autonomy passed out batch. Our batch had the highest placements. Companies like ITC, Infotech, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc., visited our campus for recruitment. The highest package was 5 LPA, and it is offered by one of the core companies, whereas the lowest package offered was 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Lab facilities are good, and all are well-equipped. Quality of classrooms and library is also good. Quality of food available in the canteen was good at that time. Very limited varieties of food items were available in the canteen. Hostel rooms were average.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly qualified. Most of them were from IITs. They were knowledgeable. We often went on industrial visits to the companies like Ashok Leyland, Gear Manufacturing Industry, etc. Industrial visits helped us a lot to gain practical exposure.
