The best faculty members .
Placements: Our placements are yet to be started, but in 2024, for mechanical engineering, the highest package was 10 LPA. Currently, the placement is quite low due to the recession. But I hope it'll be good after that, as heard by the passed-out graduates of this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite old for the core branches. But for new branches, including CSE the infrastructure is top class and excellent. The hostel is very basic. I recommend not to take hostel, take any other PG or flat outside the college nearby.
Faculty: Fabulous faculty members! They treat you as one of their friends. They are very knowledgeable; every teacher has one or more PhD's in their respective fields. And has a very good experience in teaching. The curriculum has a good balance of theory and practice.
Other: There is an annual festival known as "Pratishruti," which is not so good. But there are many other events occurring throughout the year that are quite engaging and entertaining. Every department also has its own annual events. There are many clubs for students to showcase their talents. Overall, there is a very good campus life.

Ramdeobaba College of Engineering Review.
Placements: Above 87% percentile in MHT CET were accepted in my batch. The highest package this year was 8.3lakhs per annum and the lowest was 2.4 Lacs per annum. The top companies in mechanical which come for recruiting are Essentier and TCS. About 80% of the students got a job. Car designer and motor designer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very average and 95k per year for single rooms. It gives us Wi-Fi but literally, everything is banned on it, and many educational sites are banned too. The mess is not bad - 3.5/5 compared to other colleges. We have TV room, a gym, many sports ground (football, basketball, table tennis, etc. ), and a library.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and will always help you when you need them. They are very well qualified and knowledgeable and very good at teaching,. The course is very helpful for the industry in first year we have a subject called workshop in which they teach us how to use all the machines. The semester exams are very difficult and last 15% percent of the people gets back logs.
Other: I chose the mechanical branch because it is the mother of all branches and you can major in mechanical and then go into computer science, civil engineering, electrical engineering, etc. Although the campus is very friendly with no ragging, bullying, fighting, etc., it could use better equipment and facilities. There are always events happening, which is great fun. You can also receive scholarships.

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management: reviewed by a student.
Placements: 15 out of 75 were placed in core industries and 70% of students who SAT in campus placement were placed in total. The highest package offered was 12 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies in the branch was shapoorji paloonji. In the entire college, Capgemini, Infosys and TCS were mass recruiters. 55% students got internships in the eighth semester in climber, Metlok etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our course is above average. Some instruments of the labs are not in working condition, but all labs under the course are well-equipped with qualified and experienced teachers. There is a LAN cable in every classroom and laboratory. The department has an excellent collection of books in the library. The hostel is a bit of a mess. For girls it is very comfortable, but for boys it can be a bit problematic. The mess food is not always good, but canteen facilities are excellent. We have a Nescafe cafe in the canteen and also an Anna canteen which serves all kinds of Indian food from masala dosa to chhole Bhature. The most famous dish is sambhar vada as it is sufficient to finish off hunger and also very cheap. Canteen facility allows the students to maintain and pay monthly tabs in case they don't have cash at hand.
Faculty: Teachers in department are very helpful knowledgeable and motivating. They continue to inspire us by including us in Industry projects every now and then. The department organizes industrial visit every semester to expose us to the atmosphere and help us understand the concepts in a better way.
Other: The college organizes two main event in the entire year. One is a fresher's party called Aruni and the other is a cultural fest; the biggest in central India called Pratishruti. There are musical guests bands and concerts under this event. They also organise many competitions during the Pratishruti month. We decorate the campus extraordinarily and welcome performance stars. Apart from cultural activities, each department of the college organizes two events under the department student body. One of them is an installation programme where the second year students are introduced to the branch and the other is a technical event where there are guest lectures, seminars and challenging competitions. Apart from this, we organize technovision which is a college level technical event.

I was satisfied with the opportunities provided by our college.
Placements: More than 95% of students from our course were placed. The highest salary package offered was around 5.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Fluor Daniel, Blue Star, Saint Gobain, L&T, Mu Sigma, Raymond, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., are the top recruiters of our course. Various roles were offered like from GET to senior engineer. Our college doesn't offer internships.
Infrastructure: All decent facilities like good classrooms, Wi-Fi, computer centre, library, etc., are available in our college. Hostel rooms were decent ( twin sharing and single sharing rooms are available). The quality of the food served in the mess was good, and basic medical facilities were available as there is a dispensary within the hostel. For sports and games, basketball court and volleyball court are available, but our college lacks a decent football or cricket ground.
Faculty: I would rate the teaching quality of the teachers as very good. Knowledge and qualification of teachers were appreciable. Apart from this, their supportive nature had ensured that we participate in national level competitions like Baja, Supra, etc. The course curriculum is relevant. Faculty members and HOD always encourage suggestions to incorporate new elective subjects if students suggest. I would suggest that to make the students industry-ready, they should focus more on practical knowledge, which would yield more results. For this, I recommend that one semester is allotted only for industrial training as it has been incorporated in other top colleges already.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I want to have an industrial connection when I work. If students want this, they can choose mechanical engineering. Apart from this, the IT industry has been in demand and also will surely in demand in future. So students can opt for that course as well. I suggest that a complete semester should be dedicated to industrial training, which would help. Events, fests and extracurricular activities are well placed in our college, and students get ample opportunities for the same.

Overall experience is good but you have to maintain a balance bet6studies and other activities.
Placements: The placements for our senior batch were fairly good in the core mechanical companies and IT companies. However, this year some of the core and most of the IT mass recruiters had Mechanical banned which reduced the placements. But placements and internship opportunities are available in plenty if you know computer programming languages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi can be described to be between decent to good. Other facilities such as gym, laboratories, sports equipment, ground, etc. Are available. The classrooms are big in size but the facility to compensate the temperature rise due to scorching heat of Nagpur Summers are not available for students. Rest of the labs are good. We even have a BMW Z-Series engine to study, but bottomline is we cannot open it to take a look inside.
Faculty: The course curriculum is quite descriptive and wide. Many subjects give us the right knowledge of basic engineering as well as management, languages, statistics and many other important subjects. The faculty is bery supportive in some cases however very strict regarding attendance. The course needs a little bit of updation in some subjects but overall is a pretty good package of real world applications.
Other: Yearly 2 fests are carried out 1) Aaruni for first years 2) pratishruti for entire college. Organising and participating in the events is equally fun in these events. If you are planning to go to Ramdeobaba, you have to find a balance between studies and actively organising the fests. Other than these two events, the departmental fests are also held yearly. Inter-departmental sports, teachers day, branch cups, etc. Are enthusiastically celebrated.
