B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination, Kerala, or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology as one of the optional subjects with atleast mentioned marks.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have completed B.Tech. Degree in the appropriate branch or bachelor's degree in Engineering with above mentioned marks or with minimum CGPA of 6.0 in a 10 point scale and for OBC students 5.5 on a 10 point scale from any recognised Institute/University. For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree Programme is sufficient. In case of candidates who have an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering from foreign universities, candidate should produce an eligibility certificate from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
PG Diploma	Candidates who have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Mechatronics / Applied Electronics and equivalent disciplines are eligible to apply. Final year B.Tech. Students with 6.5 CGPA till seventh semester and without live back papers are also eligible.
