It provides placement only in IT stream. Mech, civil & electrical students try hard for placements.
Placements: Only top tech companies select students from our college. Most of the students are engaged in preparing for government exams. IT companies like TCS and Wipro hire students in the IT stream whereas Cairn Energy hires for core branches. The T&P cell works well for students.
Infrastructure: Our college has high class infrastructural establishment like IITs and NITs. College has the symbolic fighter plane at the entry gate of central dome which helps the student to dream higher always as IAF's tag line sky above the glory. College has an infinite length of the corridor which help students to exchange their ideas for working better for society.
Faculty: Students here become industry ready and can proceed in their life. This college is an industry-driven college that helps students in aiming high in every aspect of life. In today's cutthroat competition in the world, Ecbians are proving why they are the industry leaders.

It is an average institute, and the placements are not good.
Placements: I'm a 3rd year mechanical engineering student at ECB, Bikaner. Almost 30% of students got placed last year through campus placements. 13 LPA was the highest package offered. Cairn Energy, TCS, and Honda are the top recruiters. 20% of students got internships in different fields.
Infrastructure: The hostels are ordinary government hostels. The girls' hostel is not in the college periphery, and it's outside of the college in Vyas Colony, Bikaner. Canteens are good. There are two canteens. Mess food is the same as in all other institutes, tasteless. Sports facilities are at the lowest. No particular grounds are available, and no support is provided by the college authorities.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and really helpful. They are always thoughtful towards changing the present scenario of the institute. They all are well-educated. Every one of them has a PhD from renowned IITs.
Other: This college is undoubtedly the best in Rajasthan for mechanical engineering. The teachers in our department are exceptionally well-educated, and everyone has a PhD in their respective fields. The college fests are conducted every year, and there are different fests for every department. College life is very good. Summers are harsh here. Climatic conditions are difficult to adapt. The campus is well connected with Wi-Fi, and hostels have LAN connections.

There are a good infrastructure and qualified faculty members.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students get placements. Major recruiters for our college are Cairn Energy, Honda, TCS and L&T. The average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA-5 LPA. Only a few students get internships from our college. Top recruiting companies for mechanical engineering are Cairn Energy, TCS and Honda. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The training and placement department tries to invite more recruiters.
Infrastructure: LAN facility is available in our college and hostels. There is a vast library with more than 10,000 books. There is a computer lab, where over 200 systems are installed. There is a ragging-free environment, and the quality of the food served is average. There are highly air-conditioned labs. There are helping and kind teachers as well as seniors. There are a good infrastructure and wonderful workshops.
Faculty: There are well-qualified faculty members. They have good knowledge in their respective fields, but they are not much interested in teaching. Students are really hard working. Faculty members use interactive teaching methodology
Other: This college is best for mechanical engineering in Rajasthan. Our college organises Sambhav and Aakriti fests. Besides this, each branch has its own fest. Teachers are good, but our college system is a bit distracted.

You can choose other colleges better than ECB.
Placements: Campus placements are very poor here. I secured 72% aggregate in my engineering, but I didn't get placed because, in 2019, Carn Energy visited our college, but it had put some so-called eligibility criterion to attend placements. They selected students based on 10th and 12th class academic percentage but not on graduate percentage. So, I only denied a chance of placement. But there were some other friends who didn't even get a chance to attend interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is old and simple. There are very good corridors, T&P hall and also a library hall, but the maintenance of these facilities is not well, especially the library. However, on average, it is good because if you are a student at this college, you will be habituated to them.
Faculty: Faculty members here are helpful if you want, so it completely depends on students. If they have some doubts, then faculty members can clear all those doubts. But if you won't approach them to clear those doubts, then they also won't care about you. So, let them help in the education curriculum.

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure. Our college provides good faculty and low placements.
Placements: Placements are low in our college. The highest salary package offered in the mechanical course was 6.8 LPA by Cairn Energy in 2019 for 3 students. Almost 50% of the students from our course get an internship every year from their own efforts in different companies. Only 10% of the students from our course get placed every year.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our college are limited and intermediate. For mechanical course, labs are good but not best. Classrooms are usable. Quality of facilities available in the hostel are low, but I lived there for one year. The hostel condition is bad from the inside, but the location is in the open area, so there is a bit free environment.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have good teaching experience, and their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum relevant to the respective degree, and it makes the student lightly industry-ready. I personally visited some of the industries like Bikaji, which was conducted by the college. From a study point of view, this college has good teaching faculty members and mentors.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to do work in the field of mechanical machinery. I wish the college should provide more hands-on practice. Our college organises about 2-3 events every year for their students.

Overall, our college is nice.
Placements: Placements are moderate in our college, and Vedanta core company visit our college for placements as a top recruiter and offers a salary package of 6.5 LPA and a stipend of 30, 000 per month for internships. Top recruiters for engineering are Vedanta and some insurance companies. As it is a government college, it provides funds from TEQIP. Almost 30% of the students do internships in industries like Tata Steel, BHEL, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi facility and labs specifically for ME. The quality of the hostel is low, and the quality of the food served is also low. Sports are conducted at a national level, and I will give 4 stars for the computer lab. It is a huge campus and spread over 300 bighas. Various sponsored courses are available here through TEQIP especially to opt for internships in industry. Our college organises tech fests throughout the course.
Faculty: TEQIP faculty members are available from the central government. They are very nice and highly educated like M. Tech holders from IITs. Our college hires associate professor and assistant professor who have PhD from IITs. For final year and pre-final year students, GATE classes are also arranged.
Other: As it is a government college, huge laboratories are available.

Review of Government Engineering College (ECB, Bikaner).
Placements: In the last few years, only 40-50 students got placement out of 120 in mechanical engineering. The average salary offered was Rs. 70,000 per month. Cairn Energy comes every year and takes 5-8 students. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA in the past years.
Infrastructure: Mechanical department is known as a royal department in our college because it is the best department when compared to other departments. There is a free Wi-Fi facility in our department and college. Labs and classrooms are average. In the summer and winter, classrooms are very comfortable, but sometimes there may be electricity failure, and there is no backup for electricity.
Faculty: Teachers in the mechanical department are very friendly and helpful. They try to solve every problem. Most of the faculty are PhD and M.Tech qualified. In the classroom, teachers try to give 100%, but because of many mass bunks in every semester, only 60% to 70% of the syllabus is completed.
Other: I was interested in automobile and industrial engineering, so I chose mechanical engineering. In our college, only mechanical and computer science are the courses which are taught by experienced faculty. There is a lack of practical knowledge, and the college should provide practical knowledge to students. In mechanical engineering, many small events are organised, but SAMBHAV is the best event for fun and knowledge.

Average college good infrastructure and good faculty.
Placements: 5-10 total students were placed in company and the highest salary was 6lakh and the lowest 3.5/year and in my in campus pool was average. And in other branch like CS, EC, ee, civil. Also have good placement but placement coordinator was not good all the branch students get internship form company like nbc bearing hero honda, vadanta oil, veedol oil and other services company and government body institute like railways and Power plant.
Infrastructure: Good faculty and facilities in branch of mechanical. Lab is much better condition but for cnc and other m/c. There is no operator as per my experience. Workshop men were good, highly experienced but the hostel of college are same as all government hostel but in hostel all seniors are supportive, helpful and learning surroundings. But some also have noise like dj party and other party.
Faculty: All the teachers of my branch are well experienced and Ph.D. holder from IITs. But some guest faculty are not good they show only their aggressive approach. Yes, in this if students bare interest in their courses then they can get good experience because workshops are open for students for every time.
Other: I am interested in this area before I get coaching of JEE Main thorough counseling of REAP Rajasthan. This branch make me visualise all things around me. In college, sambhav is the now branch fest event which is held in November which is for 5 days. There are around 4000 students studying. College also provide scholarship through Sumedha Rajasthan government other also.
