Satisfied with the college, and I felt much comfortable with the lecturers and environment.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed every year. 4-7 LPA is the average salary package offered. Adobe, Amazon, Infosys, Bosch, Accenture, IBM and Cisco are some companies that came to our college. The students are provided with some training under Cisco. Our college has a tie-up with Cisco.

Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Labs are quite good and clean. Classrooms are big and neat with proper ventilation. The library is very big with great books for all the branches. Our library has a big reading section. A digital library is also available to use the internet.

Faculty: All the lecturers are good and very friendly with the students. They help us to study well. They always keep us motivated and focused on our studies and help us in making notes and assignments. The curriculum is relevant because it's set by VTU.

Other: I was from the 2018 batch. Providing AC rooms would be very good. Other than that, everything is good. It lacks a college fest, but yet, a fest called Spoorthi is celebrated very poorly.

It is a more preferable college.

Placements: About the placements, we got placement offer in the startup companies which have a package of Rs. 2 LPA as average. The companies which visited the campus are the Srishti, ABC academy etc., for the profiles of Java developer. We didn't get an internship here. It is a pleasure to attend the placement training and campus interview in our college. Also, the quality of placement services and placements team is really good.

Infrastructure: About the infrastructure, the Wi-Fi is available only in the library. We have a huge book storage in college and in sports, we guys had huge enjoyment in our college. The campus of the college is good, but it's still under construction for the other departments. Also, more classes are going to be constructed.

Faculty: The staff of other branches I don't know about, but our staff is really good, and their speaking skills and conveying methods is in an understandable way, and they concern on each and every student of the class. And the time management of the staff is also awesome.

Other: Chitradurga is a small city and SJMIT is the only engineering college in there for now. Many other colleges have been proposed to be opened in the near future. Talking about SJMIT, the college is good in terms of faculty and the fees the charge but not the ROI. Infrastructure not very attractive but covers almost every necessary blocks of study. Many of the Lecturer have more than 20 years of experience in teaching. Placements when I was studying was zero. Since the city was small and there was only one college, companies never considered it and they never showed interest, though I guess college tried its part but didn’t succeed. But things are moving up now I guess. I heard couple of companies did go there for placements last year. Behind college there are good food joints at reasonable price. In college campus there are couple of canteens, juice centre. Students are trendy, they can blend in anywhere. Fests are becoming more and more inventive in nature. Fun environment will be there and maximum student participates. Study will be good only if the student wants to study. Stress is only during exams rest all of the time its calm environment.

Other: A pleasant place to study and get good marks. No hi-fi things like metro cities. Campus placements is major concern and management should focus. Its a very old college one of the best in mysore region. College campus is spread over 45 acres of land with trees. Sports ground is awesome for cricket.

I'm very disappoint after joining the college I had some good expectations about the college.

Placements: The college I joined there were 150 students in the course and about the placement I don't think any student got one I would recommend people to not to join it I had any chance to go back in time I would go back and change this moment so don't join the college .

Infrastructure: There Wi-Fi in library and all but speed is very low and sometimes they turn of the Wi-Fi the feels is too high and the college is overrated The college I joined there were 150 students in the course and about the placement I don't think any student got one I would recommend people to not to join it I had any chance to go back in time I would go back and change this moment so don't join the college .

Faculty: Some teachers are good some teachers are arrogant don't have any knowledge how to behave with student? It's an average college. If you have no other choice, then join this college.

Placements: There is no chance of placement. Students have to find their placements on their own. There are no companies that come to recruit students from SJM Institute of Technology. There is no value for students who study at this college. Don't even think about the roles.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and lecture halls are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors and audio systems. Laboratories are well-equipped for Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science, etc., Specialized labs are available for programming, simulations, and VLSI design. The central library has a large collection of books, national and international journals, and digital resources. It provides access to e-journals and online databases. Computer centers offer high-speed internet connectivity and modern systems with updated software. Workshops Mechanical and Electrical workshops are provided for hands-on training. Seminar halls and auditoriums. They are used for guest lectures, workshops, and student programs.

Faculty: The curriculum is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University VTU, Belagavi, and is framed by VTU to meet current industry demands. It is updated periodically to ensure relevance and alignment with technological advancements. The B.E./B.Tech programs follow an 8-semester structure, covering core subjects, electives, laboratory work, projects, seminars, and internships. Students can chose from Open Electives and Professional Electives to enable interdisciplinary learning. Skill development is an essential part of the curriculum, with regular workshops on programming, coding, and industry-linked training in areas like Python, Artificial Intelligence AI, Internet of Things IoT, and CAD/CAM, etc. Soft skills and personality development sessions are also provided to enhance student readiness for the corporate world. It has good faculty members and good placements in the CSE branch.

Placements: The placement cell is only for CS and the electronic branch students. You can get a placement if you are in the CS branch. But there is no chance to get a job if you are from another branch.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good. You can get admission to the hostel easily, but it is more costly, I think. You should stay in your home because this college is just better for those who live in Chitradurga. I suggest you should not join this college if you are from other places.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified, and highly knowledgeable. You can ask your doubts at any time. So you can join this college if you are a local student. Teachers are awesome.

Other: You can participate in many extracurricular activities. But there are not that many activities.
