Good value of money nothing more.
Placements: Atmost only 15% of students from our course got placed. The highest package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are QSpiders, UST, LnT, and SOTI. 10% of students got internships to do some projects for  WYND Technologies based in Calicut. Above 40% of students in total got internships at various companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but connection and internet access are not reliable. There are so many labs and project room facilities. There is a department library in addition to the college library. Most of the classrooms have projectors. Hostel mess food is average at best. There are limited sports and games facilities.
Faculty: Only a handful of teachers do their work with dedication. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not relevant. They simply talk about loads of theories without teaching us the connection or the practicality of them. The semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.

The social and political changes in the college are disturbing college life and studies.
Placements: 17% of students get placed in companies like Infosys and QSpiders with the highest packages of 3.5 LPA. Almost 12% of students get internships at WYND Technologies, Kozhikode. The college provides good faculty members, yet disputable and poor performance on placements this year. Last year, there was a good performance in placements.
Infrastructure: Overall for the infrastructure, I would rate 3.5 out of 10. It has a poor Wi-Fi connection. There are no basic facilities like drinking water, no space for project work, no power connection, and no staff support. Students barely find any motivation to provide for their curricular development.
Faculty: Teachers are average. We can pick one or two qualified staff members among fourteen or fifteen members of the total staff collection. Their qualities are not exhibitable with limited time and vast course structure. The syllabus won't let the staff members teach us properly. We couldn't even complete the portion properly.
Other: I chose the course because I love computer science course.

Satisfied with the facilities but average placements.
Placements: I believe at least 20% of students in my course got placed. I don't know the highest package offered but the lowest is 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Sutherland, and UST. 10 students got internships in the 6th semester which is still ongoing. Their college project is in collaboration with the company called Wynd Technologies based in Calicut.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are average in my opinion. Classrooms are big and have projector facilities. There are several project labs and some other lab facilities. Department library is available in addition to the main college library. There is a seminar hall and a virtual classroom. Wi-Fi facility is excellent. Hostel is one of the main points of the college. The facilities are excellent. Big and tidy rooms, number of clean bathrooms, and good Wi-Fi facilities are present. The food quality is more or less average. There are gym and several sports facilities available.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Classes are taken frequently. Teaching quality is above average. Sometimes they do not complete the necessary syllabus for the semester. The course curriculum is relevant. I believe it does make the students industry-ready. They also provide free placement training several times. Semester exams are fairly difficult. The pass percentage is 50% for each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in computers. There are nearly not enough festivities happening in the college. But the ones that do occur are very enjoyable.

Not the best but somewhat good.
Placements: Placements are not as good as premium colleges. But in the computer science department, placements are pretty good. In other departments, placements are low. Recruiting companies are Q Spider, Infosys, Tata Elixi, etc. Around 75% of students from our department get placed every year with around 6.5 LPA. Internships are available at our college. Our college has alumni working in international companies so we have somewhat good exposure too.
Infrastructure: Even though some of the infrastructure is old. Surroundings are pretty calm and soothing. Lab facilities are available even though it's basic. A gym, ground, etc., are present. The college hostels are pretty affordable and good. We have Wi-Fi, a software lab, hardware labs, electrical labs, etc. Each department has a department library. There is a main central library. We have access to a computer there. When coming to the hostel, the food is pretty good. The college canteen is not that good. But we do have importance in sports and games.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very dedicated and are easily approachable and highly knowledgeable. The course curriculum has been updated by the new 2024 scheme, but it's a bit outdated. We can't even compare it with IITs or NITs. The curriculum needs to improve to a large extent. When it comes to pass percentage, our department has a high pass percentage, but other departments have a very low pass percentage.
Other: Campus life is good in this environment and climate. Previous year our college was full of events but this year we have nothing as the college is near the forest. There was a treat of tigers for a while so our programs were cancelled. But the tech fest is arriving soon. We have different clubs including NSS, GBOT, done club, IEEE, arts, dance, and a nature club called Bhumitrasena. All clubs are active. Scholarships like NSP and state government are available to students in the reservation category.

Overall the college is good and faculty members are very supportive.
Placements: I don't have the correct knowledge about it but I think more than 95% of CSE department students were passing. About 75% of students are getting placed in this college. I think due to KTU University the passing rate is decreasing because of tough exams, but we can pass the exams because of staff members.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus are very good as you know its in Wayanad its full of nice scenes every where like greenery, trees tea plants, etc. The college is situated in a hill area as we need to walk to the top to attend the classes. In classes, we always feel hill and could due to the cold climate in Wayanad.
Faculty: As we are under KTU University (2024 scheme) you know that the university is tough but the semester exams and all are okay. All the teachers and faculty are ready to help us to obtain good marks. They also encourage us to participate in other activities, programs, etc.
Other: The college campus and things are good. The college will provide scholarships, etc.

It is above average college with semi-satisfying and good infrastructure.
Placements: My name is Faheem studying in GEC Wayanad in the CSE batch of 2024-28. It is one of the most elegant and top branches in our college providing various opportunities for students for their careers. In our 4th-year students have a 95% pass percentage. The placement is now a little down as of now in 2024 but last few years the placement was good it's varying by year. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very big including about 75 students. Our department has all kinds of labs like project lab, hardware lab, and software lab. In the first year, there are other labs like electronics electrical, and mechanical. The mechanical lab is very big and offers various kinds of objects to study. The hostel is one of the most demanding things for our college students who are far from home. The hostel management is very good. They provide daily chicken and fish on Wednesday. There is biriyani and the fee is very low and affordable.
Faculty: Many faculty members provide us with notes for study. The qualifications of faculty members are very good. They meet all our expectations. Many of them are doctorates in various steams. The teaching quality is good. We have new and updated schemes for 2024. It has various new things and it is not an old syllabus. The only struggle was to collect the notes.
Other: The course I opted for is one of the most demanding and emerging courses. It is the core for all the sub-branches like AIML, AIDS, etc. Studying this course can help to structure the base for all and in our college the computer science department is very strict.

Life Of GEC WAYANAD- best nature and good faculty members.
Placements: 75% of students will be placed here. The highest package is around 10,00,000 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The main companies here are Tata, Axix Bank, and Q Spider. Almost 90% of students got internships. I think Python is offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good Wi-Fi for departments and the college. It is a awesome college. Sports are very nice in a hostel and 16 days is non-veg food. There is good ground in front of the hostel, so we can play football cricket and other games. Although sports are good, but there are no own sports in this college.
Faculty: The exams are basically under KTU University. Currently, this university has a better structure. Teachers in the college are better, qualified, and knowledgeable. Exams are under KTU University, so the difficulty level is good, but sometimes it's worse.
Other: I am here pursuing computer science engineering, I think this curriculum is good, but many subjects that are not good for engineering are studying here. I think it is better to remove a subject, that will improve our course. I opted for this course because it has a good scope. The scholarship provided in this college is very good college and valuable.

There is heaven at the top of holes. Good faculty and peaceful ambience.
Placements: Actually, placements at our college are not that great nowadays. But, my seniors were placed with good LPA in previous years. But, nowadays placements are going down drastically, and only around 20 students have been placed so far. The placement cell is active and is trying its best to reach out to companies.
Infrastructure: I am giving a 4-star rating since you asked about our hostel. The ladies hostel has very good infrastructure. There are 2 ladies' hostels and 1 men's hostel. All three have mess facilities. The food in the ladies' hostel is so good, tasty, and healthy. But the food in the men's hostel is not that great, it's okay. When it comes to the college infrastructure, it is not that great. We have enough lab facilities and a good library, but we can access them only at the college hours. They are not available after college closing time at 4:30 PM.
Faculty: Faculty members of the CSE department are highly qualified. Most of the faculty members have Ph.D. and M.Tech qualifications. Many of them are directly appointed by the government, while some are ad hoc temporary staff. They all teach as well. Each semester usually 6 months, we have a final university exam conducted by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Prior to that, our college staff conducts two series examinations. The curriculum and syllabus are the same as one followed by all other government engineering colleges in Kerala.
Other: I chose this college because I want to study Computer Science and Engineering at a government college in Kerala. I don’t have a good rank in JEE, so I looked for colleges where I can apply with my KEAM rank. I have a KEAM 2021 rank of 9000, and I couldn’t get admission to any other government college for CSE with that rank, so I chose this college. The college should provide more interactive sessions, as we don’t get enough exposure to technology. Classes are mainly exam-oriented, which is an issue. The arts fest and tech fest are very good.
