Placements: Our course is electrical engineering and a very less percentage of students are placed in some companies. The top recruiting company is Mahindra. The internship process is up to the students and they are advised to obtain an internships certificate from their chosen company, but must be a technical and field-related internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, developed, and maintained. Occasionally renovation is done to maintain the beautiful and pleasing structure. Department building has floors to let the students of different semesters study without any problem and noise. This college organises plantation activity yearly to maintain ecological balance and a healthy environment.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and well-educated. Most teachers are helpful and never let their students down when students are in need. They understand the student's needs and are reliable. Semester exams are not difficult to clear but require study and attention in live lectures.

Placements: A total of 120 admissions are provided by the government, and all admissions are filled. For diploma to degree courses, a total of 60 admissions are available, and they give all admissions based on the ACPC process. The highest salary package offered is 3.34 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.34 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.50 LPA. Manufacturing companies visit our college for campus placements. Students got internships from the electrical course in Torrent, UGVCL and PGVCL companies.
Infrastructure: For the electric department, the building is built as per the latest design. All labs are available, and they have all tools and machines. Air-conditioners are also available in labs. Wi-Fi facility is available for 24 hours, and the library is also available on the campus. We easily got books for the subjects. Government hostel is also available, and the quality of the food served is also good. Medical facilities are available, and sports and games are also played in ground. The distance between hostel and college is only 500 meters. All facilities are available.
Faculty: In the electrical department, teachers are very helpful in study. If we can't understand any topic, then we can approach faculty members personally and learn from them. All faculty members are M.E and qualified PhD. They have in-depth knowledge of their subject. Their teaching style and quality are also wonderful.
Other: I like to learn about electrical energy, so I have chosen the electrical course. I make sure I will be helpful in making a digital India. Every year lots of events, festivals, etc., are celebrated on our campus.

It is a good college to become for industries work.
Placements: About 5% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered is approximately 3 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA and the average salary package offered is approximately 2 LPA. Placements are not very good but average. Top companies recruit a maximum of 3-4 students.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is average, but not very bad. The campus is huge, but the Wi-Fi facility is not available for students in our college. Labs are good, but sometimes, all the equipment is not available to do practicals. Medical facilities are available for minor injuries.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are good at teaching, but sometimes, they don't give proper answers to any question. However, our college is government, so education is provided at minimal charges. Our college provides us with better knowledge to ready for industries work.

Review of Government Engineering College, Modasa.
Placements: Around 20-25% of the students get placed from our electrical department from our college every year. Until now, the highest salary package offered to our department is 3.87 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 2.35 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.34 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Torrent Power, Adani Power, etc. Roles offered were supervisor, electrician, junior engineer, etc. About 65% of the students got internships from our course in companies like Adani Power, Torrent power, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available in our department, but classrooms are good as our department was built just 4 years ago. There is one small library in our college which is not that good. However, labs are good as our department was built just a few years ago. The hostel is not that good, but one new hostel building is being built. Work of new hostel building is in progress, so it will be ready soon to stay in. Until now, the quality of the food served in the mess is not good, but the new hostel could get a new cook also. Medical facilities are not available in our hostel. Sports facilities are good, and many sports are played every year as our college has one cricket ground and one badminton court.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and helpful here. They try to teach at their level best. The course curriculum is also good and relevant as our college is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have an interest in electrical engineering and wanted to pursue this as my career, so I chose it. The best thing about our course is it has scope. Many events are organised in our college every year like cultural activities, sports activities, tech fest, etc.

Faculty teaching is quite good, but the infrastructure and labs are not so good.
Placements: I will pass out in May 2020. All other colleges which are self-finance have many companies to employ the students. I hardly remember any of student has been selected in placement even though only 2- 3 companies visited our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. The hostel has no good facilities, like sanitation and hygienic food. The library is not digitised. In gymkhana, some nonsense people are always sitting over there. Sports equipment is not good. Labs are in bad condition, and students did not get much practical knowledge.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, but some of them are very bad. They do have a good experience, but they are not able to express their knowledge to students which is worthless. They fade the image of the college.
Other: I have chosen this course because electricity is always in need of every person.
