Review of Government Engineering College, Patan.

Placements: We are all from the 2021 batch, which will be going to be passed out in 2025. About 20% of students got placed from campus, and 60% opted for higher as well as foreign education, and 20% opted for other options. The highest package from our college is about 3 LPA, and the average will be 1.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facility available for our course is decent. In the lab, almost most of the computers are not in working condition. There is good Wi-Fi facility available; you can access it anytime. The quality of the facility available in our hostel is about low class. Here you will get all things except drinking water, which is very essential for students.

Faculty: One thing is good in this college is that the faculty members are fully supportive and provide quality education. All the faculty members share their experience in terms of industry. Semester exams are not tough at all. Approximately 70% pass the semester exam.

Other: At the time of my admission, I was really disappointed with the infrastructure. But now it is all in good facility. In this campus, our principal is fully supportive for all fests. There you will enjoy your college life definitely.

Review of Government Engineering College, Patan.

Placements: Placements are very good. The minimum package offered is 1.5 LPA, and the maximum package in mechanical is 4-5 LPA. Quality inspection, quality management, research and development roles are offered.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are not good. The canteen and hostels need to be improved. Students face the main problems with living and eating facilities. Hostels facilities are very bad, and the food is not good.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Exams are difficult. Few subjects are related to proper mechanical work and industry. Exam papers are for 70 marks. The passing marks are 23 out of 70.

Other: My father is into a business of bike/car garage. So, I got an interest in the mechanical course. I needed to choose this course. The best thing about my course is that QC, inspection, research and development departments are very good.

You will get a quality education at a low price.

Placements: From our batch, about 3 students were selected in Adani industry for a junior engineer position. In the previous year, there were no placements, and this is the main disadvantage to study in such a government college. However, Adani and Gokul industry hired 30 students as intern engineers.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good here. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom and library are available. Even students also have access to the internet through a cable connection in the classroom. Hostel and canteen facilities are also very good. Sports funds are also good and are provided by the government.

Faculty: Generally, excellent faculty members are available in a government college, which is the best part of a government college. All faculty members here are PhD qualified and have good knowledge in their own fields. They also provide good practical knowledge. They have excellent teaching skills compared to teachers of other private colleges.

Other: It is a good campus. Specially Siemens designs the course.

Absolutely GEC Patan is very much good for engineering.

Placements: This institute provides good placements, and it also provides training. Siemens provides many courses in designing and modelling for skill development.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and all the facilities like labs, classrooms and a library. They all are in good condition. The hostel facility is good, and canteen facilities provided here are good. The hostel can accommodate 120 students. Our college also provides mess facility for students at the lowest price. Labs are in good condition, and they will help to have a good practice of practical.

Faculty: Our college has the best professionals, and they provide a good level of education. All the teachers are helpful in any difficulty. This institute provides all facilities for education and practical knowledge. Our college also provides internships.

Other: Many events are organised in this college.

All are good, but the placement services available in our college are less.

Placements: GEC Patan is very good for mechanical engineering. Students of the mechanical branch have visited many industries, and students improve their skills.

Infrastructure: College classrooms are very neat and clean. Daily coworkers are cleaning the class. All college campus has free Wi-Fi with high-speed, and many internetworks are easily done in college. The library is very good. There is a good canteen facility with good food. They also provide services like a xerox machine, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, very energetic and always helpful to all students. Teaching work is always very good for the mechanical branch, and they are helpful for project works. They also motivate students for a day to day life. Teachers solve any doubts of students. They conduct regular lectures, and all students are available to the class and attend lectures. All subject faculty members are well-Knowledgeable.

Other: I have chosen a mechanical course at a government engineering college because this college mechanical branch is very knowledgeable, and daily all lectures are done. All professors are very good. Day by day, they make the new improvement for students, and many activities are conducted in our college. Scholarships are provided here. Surroundings are very natural, and there is no extra noise on the college campus.

Placements: Placements are very good here. Very good MNC companies visited our campus in our batch, and also success rate was also good in our campus. My all friends and I got placed in campus placements. The placement process is also good and easy for everyone to follow. The college invites other colleges students to participate in campus interviews.

Infrastructure: Our college has a very good infrastructure with good enough lighting and air conditioning, and these all are in the best condition. All buildings are 2-storey only, and stairs are available. Every room has smart facilities with CCTV camera and projector.

Faculty: In our department, all the vacant positions are filled by the faculty members. All faculty members were good and kind, and they always helpful and do their best so that students can do their best. Faculty members also have very good knowledge in their subject domain. They have a lot of practical experience. All the laboratories were equipped with all apparatus, which are in working condition.

Infrastructure of the college is awesome. Faculty are also helpful.

Placements: No placements were conducted for the students of our batch as well as our senior batch. Faculty are the best, and they try to bring the best companies for placements. But, as Patan is a rural area, placements for mechanical students is not much good. So, the chances of getting a job through placements are low.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are beautiful and advanced technology is used in labs. Central Wi-Fi is available for students and faculty members. Sports week is arranged for students also. Students can also read books by sitting in the library. Infrastructure is the best.

Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful to all students. All the faculty members are masters and PhD holders in their subject. The teaching quality is also good compared to the government colleges. We visited a few industries 5 to 7 times during our 4 years of studies, to gain practical knowledge. Teaching quality is excellent.

Gec dahod has good faculties and education , placement is growing, good infrastructure facilities.

Placements: Various companies from Baroda, Nagpur come here for placement It is better than earlier. Growing number of recruiters Various financial companies have also came. It is all over growing. We have different companies joining every year. If you have talent you will be placed in the campus itself. Various tranning regarding interview, resume building and other training are given by the faculty members. Now placement cell has become active. I think the new batches joining will have good placement.

Infrastructure: Infra is good. Most of the equipments and facilities are available. Separate building for each department. Amenities, gym, Wi-Fi, sports facilities are available, GIC club, workshop, 3 d printing facility We have canteen and hostel in our college Table tennis, football, cricket, kabbadi, kho, chess, gym facilities are available. One central library with all books and magazines. Departmental library for the help of university exams. Badminton court and other facilities.

Faculty: Mechanical EC Civil Comp Electrical Master courses for Structure Cad/cad faculty members have cleared GPSC. They have been taking training with several time. They go for research and IIT. Few are from IIT itself. The administration is ready to help They have got training in design engineering Courses are according to the GTU. It is followed for all 129 colleges under GTU. Various extra curricular accepted by GTU like design engineering, .

Other: Tech fest, GIC club, workshop, ieee.
