It is absolutely good for students, as there is good faculty and their support.

Placements: The placements at Government Engineering College, Valsad, are average, as few students get on-campus placements. However, in the last few years, companies like Laurent Toubro (L&T), Reliance, etc. have approached college campuses for placements. In short, if you are good at studies and performance, you will definitely get the placements.

Infrastructure: The facilities at the college are very good; all departments have Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are good enough for studying. The library does not open daily as there is no librarian at the college. However, I hope this problem can be resolved soon, and you can also get the book from the library by asking for your faculty members. The hostel is good, but there is no mess, and the tiffin services are provided by some local people.

Faculty: The teachers at the college are very helpful and knowledgeable, but some are a little strict, but they also help students. The teaching quality is very good, as all the professors are very qualified. They also participate in projects or extracurricular activities outside of the course curriculum. The semester exams are not that difficult.

Our college is like a typical government college with nothing new and interesting.

Placements: In our college, the mechanical branch has the most placements after the chemical branch, but the highest salary package comes from our branch.

Infrastructure: Every department has a separate Wi-Fi facility. Labs are conducted as per the request of the faculty. If the faculty wants to take the lab, then only the lab is conducted. Otherwise, labs are conducted in the extra classes. In our college hostel, there is no facility for a mess, but a tiffin facility is available.

Faculty: The mechanical branch has the highest number of faculty members as compared to other branches, and the mechanical branch is a well-known branch. It has the most eligible and qualified teachers, but some of them are helpful and some of them are not. Semester exams aren't that much harder, but the midterms are a bit difficult because the exam paper is made by? faculty members.

Other: I chose this course because the mechanical branch has the highest number of recruiting companies and vacancies.

Students can join GEC, Valsad, as it has good professors and facilities.

Placements: Courses offered in our college are BE in mechanical, chemical, electrical, environmental, and civil. The highest package offered is up to 7-8 LPA, the lowest package is around 2-3 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA. Companies such as Bayer, Meril, Techno Gears, Kabra Extrusion, etc., recruit the students. Most of the students get internships in companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college in each department. A library is available in our college with plenty of books. A canteen is available. A sports room is available in our college. There are separate hostel facilities available for boys and girls.

Faculty: The professors of our college are highly educated and qualified. Most of the professors are pursuing Ph.D. Our professors set the paper to be tough to prepare us for university exams as well. The teaching technique is good. Our course covers all the basis of mechanical engineering.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I have an interest in machines and manufacturing processes. Our course can be improved if there are more practicals. Events such as tech fest, sports day, traditional day, and cultural day are celebrated in our college.

The college infrastructure is really good.

Placements: A maximum of 10-15 students were placed on campus. The highest package offered is approximately 3 LPA. Mostly, nearby companies come here from the Valsad district. Internships are provided by Salon Paper Machines Pvt., Ltd., and many companies offer for jobs.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all departments. Laboratories are available in all departments. The classrooms are really clean and satisfactory. A library is available for students. Hostel rooms are big and clean. 3 students share one room in the hostel.

Faculty: The faculty are well educated and helpful in every manner. The qualifications of professors are really good. The curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted in an excellent manner. Very knowledgeable questions are asked in mid-exams.

Other: I chose mechanical branch because I have been interested in the mechanical field from the start.

I joined the college in 2019. my experience is very good. All faculty are teaching.

Placements: Above 10 % of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 2.5 LPA, the lowest package is 40000/- and the average package is 1.4 LPA. The top recruiters are the Pavan industry. Manager and design department are roles offered in my course. Nearly 20% of students got internships from my college in L&T infotech, Adani, etc.

Infrastructure: In my course, all facilities are available Wi-Fi facilities, labs, classrooms, and library are available in my course. Other facilities are a cold water purifier is also available. But in a hostel, not proper cleaning by cleaning staff and light & fan facilities are not in some rooms.

Faculty: Some teachers are from IIT. But all teachers' teaching is very good all teachers' all behavior is good. Some teachers are strict but their teaching is very best. Our college exams are taken by GTU. They decide whether the paper is hard or easy. My course pass percentage is 9.23 CGPA.

Other: All the company is required, mechanical engineers. Because the mechanical engineer work on manufacturing machines, and maintenance. Then my choice is best. In my college all type of fest, scholarships, etc. is available.
