Decent college with good placements and average infrastructure, but faculty quality is mixed.
Placements: I belong to the http://B.Tech CSE 2023 batch. Placements are quite good here. Around 75-80% students from my course got placed. The highest package was 10 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was around 4.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and Accenture visit the campus regularly. Almost 65% students also got internships in different startups and IT firms.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is decent for the CSE department. We have proper labs with updated computers, and Wi-Fi is available in labs and the library, but the speed drops when many students connect. Classrooms are big with projectors in most of them. The library has enough books for our syllabus, but new edition books are in short supply.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in the CSE department are well qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects. Some teachers are really helpful and explain concepts clearly, but a few just read PPTs. Teaching quality is mixed - it depends on the teacher. Curriculum is mostly based on the university syllabus, so it covers basics but is not fully updated for the latest industry trends like AI/ML. You have to learn extra skills yourself to become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, not too tough if you study 1 week before.
Other: I chose the B.Tech CSE 2024 batch because I had an interest in coding and the teaching field. The best thing about this course is that we get to learn programming, and the seniors are quite supportive.

The placement department of the college is very good for CE.
Placements: In my course, around 70 to 80 recent students were placed in the last 5 to 6 years, and others have applied for higher studies. As of the 2024 batch, the highest package is 21 LPA, the average is 8.14 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 5 LPA. Around 90% of students got internships in many local companies. The top role offered is SDE1.
Infrastructure: As of now, there is no hostel facility provided by the university for the B.Tech degree. The hostel is available only for girls, and the boys' hostel is not available. Since I am a boy, I don't know about the girls' hostel, but as per the feedback, it's above average.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and well-qualified in my batch, and all the professors are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and they update it as per the industry’s needs. The semester exams are very difficult, and the pass percentage is about 95%.

You will receive the expected placement at the end of your degree.
Placements: Our college has excellent placements. Every student of B.Tech and IT is placed with a good salary package. Almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average. The infrastructure is very old. Our classrooms are old. The buildings are too weak. Labs are good and modern. They provide good Wi-Fi services for computers in computer labs. The library is huge where you can get all books.
Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful and qualified from well-known universities. They have too much knowledge, but the teaching method is not so good. They take three sectional exams, one practical exam, and an end-of-semester exam at the end of the semester. There are a total of five exams per semester. Exam loads are excessive.
Other: I chose this course for placements in security after graduation, and this college is well-known for computer science.

I am not satisfied because of teachers, good placements for 2021, and medium infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in computer and IT branch is very good, and they provide good opportunities. In other branches like EC, IC civil placements opportunities are less in compared to computer branch, but they provide one of the best placements opportunities in Gujarat. DDU is one of the best in placements opportunity-wise.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide any Wi-Fi facilities, and they have library facilities where students can take all the study-related books, and classroom and laboratories facilities are average in this university. DDU classrooms are always dirty and the college does not have any sports ground focus only on study.
Faculty: In computer engineering, faculty members are very good and humble, and they help students very much. In this college in one semester, there are four exams to give. Students need to study hard for getting ready for exams, and after every one-month exam comes so students have to focus on studying regularly.

Placements: It is a top 3 college in Gujarat. It is the best college for placements. The college is tied up with 74 companies for online placement, and 315 students got the job. The highest salary package offered is 29 LPA by Google. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Byju's, Cognizant, Zeus Learning, Zeta, and Accenture visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has multi-purpose labs like system programming, advanced programming, web development, and microprocessor lab. The infrastructure of the college is outstanding. One thing that is not good is that the college has no mess. There are many messes near the college for good food.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful to students, specifically for Gujarati medium students who lack English communication. Their teaching quality is outstanding for CE faculty members. One of the best things about this college is they provide the contest for learning to code like HackerRank, CodeChef, etc., and give the updated technology.
Other: I am interested in coding, so my dream was to get the best college in Gujarat. I have scored 103 marks on the GUJCET exam. I got admission to the Gujarat best government engineering college. The college organises a fest. Scholarships are also available for students. Events are organised by industrial experts.

Placements: 100% of placements are provided. The highest package offered is more than 30 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, Crest, Metadata, Haexchange, ISRO, and many more. In our college, both internships are available for research and industrial training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average because the college was built in 1980. This is the first private college in Gujarat. There are many changes required in our college. There is no Wi-Fi for students. The labs are good for CE. The classrooms are average. The library is great. The canteen is the worst. There are no games facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are great and very supportive of students. They are very down-to-earth. They will help you with everything you want. The teachers are well qualified, and most of them are PhD holders, and some are pursuing it. Some courses are relevant, and some are not. College exams are tough to crack, and the pass percentage is 40%.

Our college focuses on placements and studies only. It is the best college for you.
Placements: Almost every student of CE and the majority of the students in IT get placed. In the current year, around 100 students got placed with a salary package of 6 LPA placed with a salary package of more than 10LPA. It is a good college for placements so if you are in DDU, you can safely say that you will get placed 99%.
Infrastructure: The canteen is good, and the library of the college is also good. Everything on the campus is above average. We have old labs, old classroom benches, etc. They don't have a hostel for engineering students, so I'm staying in a hostel out of college, and it was good. I was staying there until the pandemic.
Faculty: If you are a studious student who loves studying all night, then this college is for you. Its exam system will make you handle pressure easily. Faculty members are quite good and cooperative. It is the best place for you.

Good college for learning any course.
Placements: Almost 90% of students were placed in our course. 10 to 9 lakhs per annum is the highest, the lowest is 3 lakhs per annum and the average is 5.5 to 4.5 lakhs per annum package offered in our course. Top recurring companies is Infosys, crest data system and TCS.
90% students got internship from our course and in Infosys, crest data system and TCS. Top role is software development engineering in our course.
Infrastructure: 40 student in some lab and 20 students in some lab at a time. We use Wi-Fi only on our laptop. If we want to use Wi-Fi then first we have to register ip address of our laptop. Wi-Fi speed is too slow that's why not many students use it. The capacity of classrooms is 150 to 200. Student in the classroom sits in 3 to 4 columns. On one bench two students can sit.
Faculty: Teaching quality is the best most of the faculty members has completed masters and bachelor' in our college. Some of the faculty members have done PhD. They never miss any lecture. If they take leave then other faculty come to take a lecture. The course curriculum is average.

It will be difficult to get into DAIICT/PDPU/NIRMA. Generally, the cutoff is under AIR-20000 for these institutes. You can check other engineering institutes at the below link -
