Review of Government Medical College, Surat.

Placements: The placements percentage is above 90% in our course. The highest package offered was 3.4 Lacs per year, the lowest package was 2.4 Lacs per year with an average package of 3 Lacs per year. Companies like Synergy imaging Surat, Aaditya Radiology and Eurevaa Diagnostics joined the placements drive.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are big with modern desks being available for the students in the classrooms. The library has a big reading room and all the subjects books are available. Wi-Fi facility is available for the students in the college campus. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess and the canteen is hygienic.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are very knowledgeable in their subjects. The teachers guide the students in their studies. Their teaching quality was good in this college. The semester exams are not too hard but no cheating is allowed.

Candidate should also possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Candidate must have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 15th August 2024 or having qualifications that are not recognized as per the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed IMC Act, 1956.
