Great Lakes to accept NMAT Scores for the One Year MBA Program. Application Deadline on Dec 1, 2023.
November 7, 2023: Admissions are now being accepted for the full-time one-year Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) and two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at Great Lakes Institute of Management, one of the top B-schools in the nation with campuses in Chennai and Gurgaon, starting in the academic year 2024–2025. The institute has also declared that, in addition to CAT 2022/23, XAT 2023/24, and GMAT taken after January 1, 2021, it will accept NMAT scores (2022 onward) for the PGPM.
The GMAT, CAT, and XAT will still be accepted by the PGDM. While the PGDM welcomes students with 0–3 years of experience, the PGPM requires candidates to have at least 2 years of experience.

Great Lakes Opens Admissions for its One Year-MBA programme
November 09, 2022: One of the top business schools in the nation, Great Lakes Institute of Management, which has campuses in Gurgaon and Chennai, has announced that admissions are now open for the academic year 2023–2024 for its full-time One Year Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM). For individuals with between two and ten years of work experience, the Great Lakes PGPM is a one-year fast track MBA programme. It makes use of a large pool of international teachers, peer learning among the many experienced students, strong industry networking, and experiential learning.
Eligibility Criteria for PGPM 2023-24:
- All applicants are required to apply with a valid GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT Previous years scores are also accepted.
- Typically, candidates with 2-10 years of work experience are considered. However, exceptional students with 21+ months of experience (by April 30th, 2023) may be considered for applying.
- The first application cycle deadline is 21st November, 2022.

April 1, 2021: Following the CMAT test, Great Lakes Institute of Management, a renowned B-school in the country with campuses in Chennai and Gurgaon, has opened the application window for both full-time programmes from April 1 to April 14, 2021. Candidates can apply to the PGPM 2021-22 & PGDM 2021-23 within this window, or upload their test scores if they have already submitted. Placements: A great college for MBA, the CCS team (the placement team) make sure everyone gets placed. All students from our seniors batch are placed and our placement is still going on. The CTC is between 8 LPA to 20 LPA, and an average of 13 LPA. Big companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, EY, Bank of America hire from our batch. Most students intern with top brands like KPMG, CRISIL, Jaguar, and Deloitte, gaining valuable experience.
Placements: The placement is from top-notch companies with an average package of 12 LPA, and everyone is given a fair chance. Top recruiting companies are Gartner, KPMG, Deloitte, etc. Internship and placement go hand in hand with the same recruiting companies and a maximum stipend of 85k.
Placements: The placement process at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, is structured and competitive, aimed at securing roles in various sectors including Consulting, BFSI, Analytics, Marketing and Advertising, Automobile, IT/ITES, and Internet Business. For the 2024 pass-out batch, the average CTC was 11.7 LPA, with the highest package reaching 22.5 LPA.
Placements: Placements support was extensive during my batch. The CCS team conducted rigorous placement preparation with mock interviews, GDs, guesstimates, etc., which were standard for recruitment processes. The average CTC for my 2019 batch was 11.2 LPA, with the highest hitting 17 LPA. All my batchmates were placed by the end of the programme. As per recent placement statistics, the campus has come a long way in just 5 years.
Placements: The percentage of students placed from the previous batch was 100%. Some of the top recruiters consist of Deloitte, KPMG, Vedanta, EY, Axtria, Berkadia, BOA, Gartner, and Infosys. Some of the top roles were Senior Analyst, Team Lead, Financial Analyst, and Consultant. The highest package was 21 LPA, the median package was 10 LPA, and the lowest package was 9 LPA.
Placements: The PGDM class of 2023-24 witnessed over 75 recruiters, including Deloitte, KPMG, CRISIL Ltd, EY, and Royal Enfield, offering a variety of roles. The average CTC for the batch was 11.7 LPA, with the highest package reaching 22.5 LPA. The top roles offered were in Consulting, Finance, Analytics, and Sales/Marketing, with emerging sectors contributing to diverse opportunities for students.
