At the PG level, GNIOT offers PGDM course across seven specialisations. The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on July 30, 2024. The announcement will be made at the iimcat.ac.in website as well as in all the national dailies across India. We at Shiksha have also notify the aspirants through our communication channels. Registrations cum application process for CAT 2024 will begin from the first week of August and end in the third week of September 2024.

GNIOT Group of Institutions offers two-year MBA courses in the stream of Management. The institute offers MBA (General) courses and MBA in the other two specialisations. All of these courses are offered in affiliation with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. The selection criteria for these courses are effected as per AKTU norms. After the completion of this course, candidates will receive the final PG degree of MBA from AKTU. 

Yes, GNIOT Group of Institutions offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course in the stream of Management for a duration of two years, which is taught by the trimester system. This course is approved by AICTE, the Ministry of HRD and the Government of India and taught by the GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS). Students can pursue PGDM course in dual specialisations. The total seat intake for this course is 180. Those who are interested to get admission to this course must fulfil all the parameters of the selection criteria. 

In 2022, the cut off was 496016 for the General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Information Technology at Greater Noida Institute of Technology. The cutoff rank vary for the female candidates in general category under each admission quota. Moreover, the BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 219472 and closing rank was 290807. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in GNIOT is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

GNIOT accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. According to JEE Main last-round Seat allotment results, the cutoff ranged between 452427 and 1235614 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein,  B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering closed at 467348, which is the least and the most competitive closing ranks among all the specialisations after B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning). No, there are no separate section-based cutoffs under IPUCET exam. GNIOT offers BTech courses based on overall cutoff. Considering the GNIOT cutoff 2024, the last-round stood between 588462 and 614772 for the General AI category candidates.

CAT cut-offs are not announced along with the CAT result. The cut-offs are also not released publicly. They are known after a few days of the result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. The IIMs will open the shortlist window based on the CAT cut-offs two to three days after the result announcement. The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) can be considered the cut-off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with a CAT percentile of 99 belonging to the General category is selected for the WAT/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut-off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.
