The MAT 2026 May session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is May 25, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 31, 2026. For the CBT mode, the last date to register is Jun 8, 2026, for the exam taking place on Jun 14, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The NEET UG 2026 exam for admission to the MBBS, BDS, and other courses has been cancelled. The new dates are yet to be announced.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted until May 31, 2026, for admission to several UG courses.
- The NIMCET 2026 application process is now over for admission to the MCA course. The NIMCET exam 2026 will be held tentatively on Jun 6, 2026.
- The CLAT 2026 5th merit list will be released on May 15, 2026, for admission to the PG-level LLM programme.
- The NMAT 2025 phase 2 exam is over for the MBA/PGDM course. Students can check their results on the official website.
- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
- The CUET PG 2026 results have been released for admission to various PG-level courses. The counselling schedule will be out soon.
- The GATE 2026 exam has been concluded for ME/MTech admission.
- The TANCET 2026 exam has been conducted for admission to the MBA course. The results are expected to be out by Jun, 2026.
- The CLAT 2026 fourth merit list for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) courses is now released. Students must pay the confirmation fee by May 14, 2026, to either float or freeze their allotted seats.

Commonly asked questions On Fees and Eligibility
For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Electrical Engineering was 422516 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to Greater Noida Institute of Technology.
CAT cutoffs are usually not announced with the CAT result. The CAT cutoffs are also not released to the public.
They are published after a few days of the result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. The IIMs opens their shortlisting window based on the CAT cut-offs two to three days after the result announcement. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.

CMAT 2025 was on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in 2019.
The NTA announced registration dates via an official circular, which was released online on the NTA website on November 14, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam schedule includes registration window open and close dates and form correction dates. CMAT 2025 registration has started, and the last date to apply was December 13, 2024, and the admit card was released on January 20, 2025.
