I have an absolutely fantastic experience of engineering life.
Placements: A total of 872 students are placed and among them in 2024 placements, 222 students got placed in the CSE course. 139 students are placed in the IT course. 20 students got placed in the Civil course. 70 students got placed in the EEE course and 154 students got placed in the ME course. 136 students are placed in the ECE course. 40 students got placed in the IOT course. In 2023, 28 students were placed in the civil course. 80 students from EEE, 98 students from ME, 288 students from CSE, 265 students from ECE, and 79 students from IT were placed in the college. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, and Hexaware offered multiple opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: There are online training classroom sessions for technical knowledge sharing, which helps to enhance our technical aspects and connect new people for better social networking. The canteen has options to select choices. Medical facilities are also offered in emergency cases. Sports sessions are also held.
Faculty: There are some training labs for students to interact and share their hands-on experience to understand the functionalities in a better way. The course relevance is framed for both placements and semester opportunities. Many students pass if they learn from textbooks and attend college regularly.
Other: Facilities available for computer science students attracted me to join this institution. I wish many technologies like frameworks are also taught by the faculty members, which helps us to be ready for IT. Scholarships are offered by the government.

Good opportunity for students in the present software industry.
Placements: Approximately, 50% of students have been placed from our college with basic salaries needed for a student to survive. The highest package from our college is 30 Lakhs from Amazon, the lowest package is 2.2 Lakhs from GlobalLogics, and the average package is 5 Lakhs. The top role for the students is development roles.
Infrastructure: Basically, it is okay when it comes to students who are residing in the hostel and come from outside the college's residing area. The food in the mess and canteen is good. Volleyball, badminton, and kabaddi courts are also there in the hostel rooms, which are eco-friendly for playing.
Faculty: Many teachers are qualified with Ph.D.'s from NITs, and they help students to follow all types of knowledge when it comes to upgrading and upcoming technologies. The course structure and curriculum prepare students to get ready for the new software industry. The difficulty level is medium for students to pass the semester examinations.

GEC - Success formula for students.
Placements: The percentage of placement is 60 percent for all students. The highest package of the previous year is 37.5 LPA. The lowest package of the previous year is 4 LPA. The average package is 5-8 LPA. The percentage of internships students got is almost 100 percent.
Infrastructure: Our college (GEC) has a marvelous infrastructure, where we have a building for every branch. The facilities are top-notch, where we have smart classrooms that include projectors, Wi-Fi, etc. The amenities building has facilities like a cafeteria, gym, indoor sports, etc.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is professional and student-friendly. Every teacher has a graduation degree, a minimum of PG or Ph.D. in their field of teaching. The curriculum is very relevant to the course. The syllabus comes from JNTUK College, Kakinada.
Other: My goal is to become a full-stack web developer. So, I chose the course of CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) to achieve my goal. GEC conducts various fests like freshers, annual day, silver jubilee, etc.

I am satisfied with the college. It still needs to improve. The college is best for CSE, ECE groups.
Placements: 65% of students are placed in my course every year. The lowest package offered is around 2-3 lakhs per annum, and the highest package is 35 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Phenome People. Around 50% of students get internships from various companies. All kinds of roles are offered such as developer, tester, and so on. According to the companies' requirements, they select the students that match their needs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided in our college, even for the hostelers; they have to use their own mobile data. Labs are good, but ACs never work in the labs. The systems are good and work properly, and if there is any problem with the systems, the lab technician fixes it right there, so there will not be any problems related to labs. The classrooms and library are clean as they clean them every day. The hostel rooms are good, but the food is not good. The quality and taste of the hostel food are average, but the food at the canteen is better. The canteen food is better. The medical center is always available in the college, and they provide medical care whenever needed. Sports and games are included in our syllabus as a subject that needs to be attended compulsorily.
Faculty: The faculty are knowledgeable and have good experience. The senior faculty are very good at teaching, and their quality of teaching is good. The course curriculum is relevant and helps us develop the skills necessary for the industry. The college even conducts workshops, internships, competitions, and training sessions to make us ready for the industry. The semester exams are not too difficult; the difficulty level is medium. The pass percentage is 68% for all the subjects among the whole class.
Other: The CSE department is the best in our college. I chose this college because of its high rating in our state. It stands in the top 10 colleges of Andhra Pradesh. I wish it would be better to improve the Physics labs. Freshers' day is conducted for first and second-year students every year, and a branch fest is conducted for third and fourth-year students. Annual day is conducted every year in the month of March for everyone, and it really is a good entertainment event. Extracurricular activities are present, and scholarships are given yearly based on eligibility. The surroundings are good, and the college has a NAAC A grade for the year 2023-2024.
