Supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and decent placement opportunities.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students from the IT course get placed every year. The average package is around 5-7 LPA, while higher packages go much higher. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, EPAM, and Cognizant. Roles include software developer, data analyst, and QA engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with modern classrooms, computer labs, and a library. Our campus is Wi-Fi-enabled. We also have medical facilities and a sports ground. Extra-curricular activities make the campus environment comfortable and student-friendly. The hostel is clean and secure.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and helpful. They are supportive. The curriculum covers important IT subjects and provides practical exposure through labs and projects. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and students who attend classes regularly and prepare well can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and software development. The college organises technical events, workshops, and cultural fests that help students improve their skills.

Decent college with good faculty and a positive learning environment.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed last year, as I heard from the students. The highest package was around 50 LPA, back in 2019. The average package is around 6 LPA, varying across different branches. So the placements are somewhat decent. One can easily get placements here.
Infrastructure: This college was established in 1954, so the college is very old, and the same can be said for the infrastructure. But there have been improvements, and the IT department got renovated recently. The rest of the college departments are still like old buildings.
Faculty: The exams are pretty moderate, which one can easily clear by putting in moderate effort. Most of the topics in the exams usually come from the lectures. Courses here are somewhat relevant, and one may need to put in effort on their own to become industry-ready.
Other: The reason I chose this college is that its tuition fee charges are very generous. It is situated very close to my home, and I chose ECE because of the rising demand for EV semiconductors and also because of my interest in it.

A value-for-money college for interested students in Ludhiana.
Placements: Around 60–80% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is about 9 LPA, the lowest package is around 2–2.5 LPA, and the average package is around 4–6 LPA. The top roles offered in my college are Software Developer, Web Developer, Full-Stack Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, neither very good nor very bad. We have student Wi-Fi, a central library, and labs. I am not a hosteller, so I do not know much about the hostel or mess. However, we have a very big sports complex, including a basketball court, swimming pool, and gym. The classrooms are average. Some have broken benches, but overall, the infrastructure is pretty decent.
Faculty: Faculty members here are polite. They are helpful, quite knowledgeable, and qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is based on PTU and is very relevant to students. They provide hands-on practical training after each year, which is useful. The semester exams are quite challenging after the first year. The passing criteria are 24 out of 60 in ESE and 16 out of 40 in practicals.

It is an old and trusted college with a friendly environment and knowledgeable faculty.
Placements: 34 percent of students got placed in my course in multinational companies. In the last year, the highest package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. Some students go into entrepreneurship like they are doing an MBA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Microsoft and Amazon. 50-60 percent of students got internships from our course. Roles like design engineer, production engineer, and product engineer are offered here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, but fans are too old in the mechanical department. Wi-Fi speed is excellent and better in the library. Labs are old but nice for very interesting experiments. The canteen food is average. The hostel is good. Medical facilities are excellent, but only 3 days a week.
Faculty: Teaching quality is mind-blowing. Teachers are strict, but very helpful and kind. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready, so students do not face any problem in the industry by studying in a disciplined way. College exams are difficult but possible to pass. The pass percentage is 40 percent in external and 60 percent in internal exams.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in robotics, chipsets, and AI. It should make the syllabus by seeing trends in industries and innovations in the new year. It conducts many activities. Scholarships are also very good. Extracurricular activities are very interesting.

Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College is the best college.
Placements: According to me, there were almost 2500 students in the passing batch. I am currently pursuing a degree in IT. The highest package offered to the passed-out student was Rs. 5,20,000. Demand to expert in my field is very high in cities like Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore, and Pune.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities that our college has offered to us. They have provided us with Wi-Fi passwords and IDs, using which I can get knowledge related to my field online. In the hostel, there is a facility for hot water for bathing and drinking. The structure of the mess is also good.
Faculty: In my current semester, I am studying subjects like data structure, computer architecture, operating systems, database management system and object-oriented programming. Faculty, HOD Dr. Ks Maan, DR. Jaswinder Singh, DR. Randeep Kaur. In my semester, I have to give exams three times.
Other: Our college provides various types of scholarships based on the categories of a person.

Good college with good placements.
Placements: About 70 percent of students are placed from my batch with top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. The lowest package is about 3–4 LPA, and the highest is 13 LPA. Top roles offered include software developer, data analyst, testing engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and well maintained. All facilities are available like Wi-Fi, library, projectors, etc. Classrooms are spacious with proper seating, well maintained, and properly ventilated. The library has a good collection of books, and computer labs are well-equipped.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most faculty members explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts both during and after classes. The teaching is very good and focuses on building strong fundamental concepts.
Other: I chose this college because it is one of the oldest and best engineering colleges in North India.
