It's an average college to do a diploma only if you want to pursue higher education after diploma.
Placements: You just cannot depend on placements in this college as the placement cell is very bad here. From our batch of 60 students, only about 3-5 students got placed. There is no transparency in the placement cell. If you want to get a job after studying, then this college is not the right place for you.
Infrastructure: Everything is good here like classrooms, library, labs, a workshop, etc. But there is no Wi-Fi facility, and even there is a small canteen behind the building. However, there is a huge space in the centre of the building, which is a good feature in this college design. Moreover, there is a badminton court, kabaddi court and some space to play volleyball. You can also play table tennis, and there is also the NCC department.
Faculty: Some teachers here are highly qualified and experienced, but some teachers are part-time workers. Their teaching way is quite good. In our course, the core subjects provided are material science, thermodynamics 1&2, fluid mechanics, engineering drawing, strength of materials, theory of machines, machine design, etc.
Other: Mechanical engineering is a very dynamic course, and you will get to learn about a lot of things, both theoretically and practically. Sports day is organised annually. Our college will conduct some industrial visits for you to gain some real practical knowledge to show how the industries work.
