Good faculty members and placements are okay.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in IT from GTBIT. Around 80-85% of students in IT and CSE secure jobs through on-campus placements. The highest on-campus package shown on website is between 31 LPA to 45 LPA, with some off-campus offers reaching 60 LPA (but actual figure may vary if you know you know). The average package is typically 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Amazon, HCL, and IBM, mostly for off-campus roles. Internships via college are limited and not very impactful, so most students prefer off-campus opportunities. Common roles offered include SDE, data analyst, consulting, and tech internships. Most of us rely upon off-campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. When you come to report in college, you will find it attractive. But there is no ground, so college has to arrange ground outside the campus for sports events. There are working ACs in every room. There are 2 libraries, 2 labs for major subjects, and 2 canteens. You have to arrange hostel by yourself. Canteen serves good food. Sports events happen outside the campus. We have a gym also.
Faculty: All faculty members are supportive. Teachers are good till now. In first year, the syllabus is common for every branch. You can upgrade your branch after semester 1, if you get good CGP. Course is relevant, and there are societies that will make you skilled. Semester exams are a bit tough but mid-term exams are quite easy than semester exam. Pass percentage is 40%.
Other: The infrastructure could be better. It conducts small events for freshers. Sports meet and big events like Anugoonj are conducted. Campus surroundings are good and you get metro nearby Mayapuri and Subhash Nagar. Scholarships like CAPF and EWS are provided here.

Decent college experience with good learning, helpful seniors, and growing opportunities.
Placements: Placements depend on your efforts. Around 70 percent of students in IT get placed. Companies like Infosys TCS Wipro Accenture and sometimes Amazon visit. The average package is 5-6 LPA. Roles include developer, tester, etc. Internships are possible through societies, seniors, or self-report. The placement cell supports you decently, but again, self-effort matters the most.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very large, but it is well maintained. Classrooms are decent, with projectors in many rooms. The library is good and quiet, especially useful during exams. The canteen is okay, though it could be improved. Wi-Fi is available but not always reliable. The college has a basketball court, a badminton area, and facilities for indoor games. NCC is a major highlight here. It adds a lot to discipline and leadership. Societies like Nexus (AI), photography, dance, and others also exist and provide a chance to explore interests. Campus life is good, though not as vibrant as at bigger universities.
Faculty: Faculty at GTBIT is one of the strongest points. Most teachers are supportive and well-qualified. A few go the extra mile to help. The syllabus is IPU-based, decent, and somewhat industry-relevant, but extra learning is needed outside the classroom. Exams are manageable, not too tough. The pass percentage is pretty good if you study consistently.
Other: I chose IT because of my interest in technology and the growing career scope. The college has active societies like Nexus AI enthusiasts. Fests happen regularly, and the crowd is decent. Seniors are helpful and always guide juniors. Campus connectivity is fine, and the environment is safe. One thing I wish were better is the campus space. It feels a bit cramped. Still, the overall vibe is positive, and if you focus on learning and take initiative, GTBIT can offer a good journey both academically and socially.

Overall, the college is good, but you have to study on your own. College life-wise, it's good.
Placements: The course is mainly B.Tech. Placements are decent, with most students getting selected around 7-8 LPA. Higher packages are possible if you have good skills. Placement societies are active, contact and connect with seniors and teachers. They are helpful and will suggest opportunities and make connections whenever possible.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is small but nice. It is located in the mid-city, so the area is limited. It comes under IPU University, which has no hostels except at the main campus. Wi-Fi is available, the library is very good, and with Wi-Fi, you can study properly.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but students have to study on their own. Teachers attend classes, but many students don’t pay attention or take the classes seriously because of the college life hype. However, teachers are always available, if you connect with them, they will help you.
Other: Campus life is good. There are many societies to join, and the environment is good. People are helpful and friendly in nature.

Average college in all scenarios.
Placements: The placements are not great, they offer good placement also only startups visit the campus rarely do any big firms visit. The average package is around 6 LPA, but if you are good at skills, this college would give you a chance to stand out.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities or grounds. The building infrastructure is too old. Two colleges are running on the same campus. The college has an open canteen, which will be a very comfortable place for summer. Although the area around the college is good compared to Akhilesh Das Gupta.
Faculty: Teachers are not excellent, but neither are they bad. They are very helpful. They properly guide you for the placement and how to get a good placement from an average college. They would also help you with any competitive exam you want to take further, like GATE, etc.

Disappoint with placement opportunities provided here.
Placements: Quite low percentage of students are placed during our period. The average package offered is 3.5 LPA. College does not provide any internship opportunities. Top recruiters are TCS, Airtel, Capgemini, Infosys, and Unthinkable Solutions. Maximum role offered is software developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average not great as compared to other IP colleges. College infrastructure is not very big. Classrooms get very hot during summer as there are no AC conditions. Canteen is below average not much of a seating area and food is not good too.
Faculty: Teachers are good, very helpful, and understanding to students. They provide very needed support to the students for placement issues, internship opportunities, exam-related problems, or any other issues students are facing. They provide good knowledge and are very supportive.

I just love my professors. The locality is very good for college life.
Placements: Around 40% of my seniors were placed in this 2024 academic year. The highest package was 12.4 LPA and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA which is also the average. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, and many were off-campus placements. I don't know exactly how many people got internships. Many people became monster-developed data scientists and many went to the stream of data analytics.
Infrastructure: The libraries are very in good condition. The one thing is that the timings are also very good which is from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. There is a break in between 1 to 1:30 pm. All the books are available which are there in the course but there is a flow that there is no open Wi-Fi but you can use the library's computer to get access to the internet. There is no hostel available from the college. Students usually my friends tend to get into the PG or get a flat.
Faculty: The one thing that I like the most is the professors because they're highly knowledgeable and very friendly. I got a code 9.5 CGPA in my first semester just by attending the classes. The course is available and the subjects are very relevant to the recent market requirements. I would rate exams are not very difficult if you attend the classes given by the professors and take some knowledge from YouTube.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to go into the field of software engineer. The best thing about my course is that it is up to date and offers you very high packages just after graduation. The improvement that I would like to add is there should be fewer theoretical questions in programming languages and more problem-based questions. Fest are very good but not usually at a very large scale. It occurs once a month. Many programs going on which are usually competitions. Once a year there is a sports meet too.

My point of view of my college GTBIT.
Placements: Well, I am in my first year of college so I don't have any experience about placements but what I have heard and seen around is that mass recruiter-type companies visit our college and provide placements around 3.5 LPA to 6-7 LPA. Once in while some companies with placements around 10 LPA to 12 LPA also visit. The maximum that I have seen is around 15 LPA and I don't know about past years.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good like the quality of classes, labs, and other facilities are good. But the problem is that the college campus is too small and one cannot provide more infrastructure in that small place. In short, the campus is small. Infrastructure is good but not sufficient. There is no hostel in our college.
Faculty: The faculty that I have seen till now (as I am in first year) is good. They are helpful and understand your point of view. Curriculum is okay like there is so much going on at a time. There are 2 mid-semester exams, one conducted by university and other one by the college then comes internal and external practicals, and finally comes end-semester exams. Exam level is easy if you study the whole semester, you are good even if you study last week, you will be able to manage it.
Other: The campus is good and bad at the same time, depending on your choices. Connectivity is great, the college is like in the middle of the city.

An above-average college.
Placements: In order to take part in placements in GTBIT, it is necessary for the student to have an average CGPA of 8. The companies look for skill-enhanced students and ask questions that force the students to think out of the box. The teachers also prepare students for these types of questions.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities in GTBIT, but many PGs and flats are available at quite affordable prices with lunch services. All classrooms have ACs, and the labs have a certain number of computers working. The availability of medical facilities is easier due to the location, as one can easily visit the outside market and get any medicine for themselves.
Faculty: Every teacher is very well-educated and very helpful when it comes to asking for any sort of help in terms of education, experience, placements, or anything else. They make students very much aware of the outside world. Semester exams are not tough if attention is paid in class. Passing is 40% in exams.
Other: College life is not very much as one can expect, as the campus is not very large, but the area it is situated in is excellent. The crowd, the neighborhood, and there are no connectivity issues of any sort. Events and fests keep happening, like Diwali celebrations, Dandiya nights, Bollywood day, etc.
